Regardless of any potential verdict, the prosecution obviously can't and hasn't proven that Casey didn't point his gun at Officer Jason Meade. Reasonable doubt is built into this case from day #1. Not guilty.

I'm not surprised the case is being retried either... whether they are seeking justice or not, why would any of them give up that fat paycheck? That's what y'all should have looked into... the favors being done, the money being spent, the people being hand selected - versus just going to the Ohio State Attorney General and having them set up the prosecution.
I think the defense should be asking if Goodman was listening to earbuds during this traumatic event, then we should know what kind of music was he listening too? Was it murder rap? Music is known to put the listener into different stkates of mind, and what he was listening too could have effected his thinking to where he was waiving and pointing that gun around like a gangster rapper? And not even realized he had triggered an officer to Pursue him. And after the waiving of the gun he probably saw that truck turning around and he was thinking “oh shit” so he hurried home to the point he he parked the car backwards to the road instead of parking normally, he parked the fastest way to get him inside the house, because he knew he screwed up? However, I do think the police department and city should be held liable in punitive damages to the Goodman family, if the ones in charge cannot provide body-worn cameras for all their officers in the field to exonerate their officers in the eyes of the public and in courts than they should be held financially liable, only way to fix these camera problems is to go after the money, they should get millions for their loved ones lost life, because neither side proved their case beyond shadow of doubt. There is not enough evidence to convict officer meade, but the case has proven negligence on the law enforcement agencies not providing cameras so therefore liable financially. And Goodman is no longer here to provide for his family so they should get a settlement. Officer meade should sue the police departments/agency’s for not providing him proper equipment to do his job, they should have provided him body-worn camera, and now since they did not, he should sue for defamation of character, because now he does not have 100% way to exonerate himself due to not having camera, and he has been executed in the court of public opinion, he’s got neighbors yelling curses at him and has caused a great deal of hardship for him and his family, and for the goodson family. This no camera situation has to be fixed, period. And the only way to force change is get that money in lawsuits by the millions

Hit their lights and Goodson tried to flee. They followed him to his house and Goodson ignored them instead of removing his ear buds. But he still knew the police were there. He proceeded to enter the house and while doing so, turned slightly and showed or pointed the gun in the general direction of the police and the police shot him. That is just how I visualize it.

This man was shot 6 times in the back with air pods in his ear so most likely he didn’t hear this cop plus three subway subs in his hands and his keys in another.
