You missed one. Take the sector elevator to Maintenance Sector Access Corridor. Right out of it, you can levitate up to a large vent which leads to an America Overnight tape, an item container, and a path back down.

Would have been even better to have your starting points to show the locations of each hidden location be the nearest Control Point. The map in this game can be so confusing at times.
Awesome game but one of the worst maps ever! Maybe it was done on purpose since the old house is a maze of staircases rooms and other dimensions.
@@jellyman123able My understanding is Remedy is working on an update that will improve the map. Not sure what that means exactly, but they are aware of the problems with it.

Glad they're patching it as I didn't realise it was an issue until I started reading comments online. I didn't find it too bad, but that's because I had come from Jedi Fallen Order to control - and if you think Controls map is awful you should try that completely unnecessary, convoluted, holographic mess that they call a map.
@@jellyman123able couldn't agree more. I have never hated a games mapping system more than this game. Without it, this game is brilliant. I've wasted so much time figuring out where to go. a simple dead space style waypoint tracker would have been perfect.
For those who still need extra ability points to level up, you can get extra ability points by doing the Gold Suit puzzle in the Lock and Probability room as well as the Old Friends mission (This doesn't show up as one of the Side Missions. You have to speak to Arish at the Central Executive checkpoint). I got the Master Parautilitarian Trophy after doing it because I was able to spend 100 ability points. You don't need to unlock all abilities 100%. I bought the expanded version and I still had a good bit of abilities left after the trophy popped and I got the platinum trophy. The Game also allows you to "reset" the abilities once you have about 30,000 credits and you can just focus on upgrading the main abilities and not the expanded ones, but I don't think it matters. You just have to spend 100 ability points to get the trophy.
Can confirm that resetting points does not work unfortantly

How is the double jump in #1 done?
Not sure if you've already gotten it, but after my first levitate I landed on one of the floating guys, then I jumped and levitate again.
I don't know if they patched it or what but I can't land on them.

@@petepete4402 It took me several tries on ps4. I never landed on them, I floated above them to a certain point and it dropped me down on them without me clicking the levitate button again, then I would slide off. But everytime I dropped on them, it would act like I was vaulting, so everytime I dropped and hit the body, I would time it to do the vault-jump levitate. I hope this helps if you haven't already done it.

@@jacoboconnor7109 Ok cool, ty for this. I've been trying to figure out how to get up here, with no luck. Another YT video says you can use slam ability against a wall to pop you up, but that hasn't worked.
Good Stuff Brother. I finished all main and side quests but still needed ability points to complete the skill tree. These came in clutch. I dont care what Tomassi or Trench says...You're the real MVP. ;-}
Needed a few of these for the platinum so thanks for the guide. Number 6 can be done way easier if you just start from the upper level control point. Other than that, great video!😃
How the f*** did you get the first one?!! I tried for idk how long but i can't do another spin up after the first one!
It took me several tries on ps4. I never landed on them, I floated above them to a certain point and it dropped me down on them without me clicking the levitate button again, then I would slide off. But everytime I dropped on them, it would act like I was vaulting, so everytime I dropped and hit the body, I would time it to do the vault-jump levitate. I hope this helps if you haven't already done it.
I used fridge, two wending machines and a chair. Pile them up and levitate the rest. The fridge was horizontal, wending machines vertical. Few tries and I made it.
If anyone is wondering the earliest you can get all these hidden locations. It is at least during mission #7. The door to get to number 5 in the janitors office won't be there until during that mission. Hope that helps anyone struggling.

Can't do the first one. My character won't land on the floating guy. She just bounces off then when i hold x she falls to the ground. Been trying for an hour now
You and use the white wall past the floating man as a sort of platform to help you fly higher. Just fly towards it and press levitate as you touch it. That's how I did it.
It worked for me, you gotta line it up under that floating guy and as you're getting to it launch again
There’s no floating guy for me so I’m even more screwed

On the first location, if you don’t have any body, just reload the game.

Go back to the janitor’s office the door is still there. If it isn’t there just finish the game it’ll be there in postgame.

The time you are going to waste looking from where he starts, you find a better video showing from the nearest fast travel. Anyway this one is useless

I found it. You have to wait until Mission 7, Finnish Tango. The door doesn't even exist until then. Once you start that mission, you'll be lead straight to the door and can find the hidden location.

If still relevant, I read that you need to use the ability (Ground Slam) to further increase the height (in levitation on the PC, press C towards the top. I haven't tried it myself, I'll see if it works later.
No, on Xbox I couldn't repeat this trick.
People are saying I should have 11 extra Ability Points after doing everything and getting all the Abilities. But I've completed the story, done all the side missions, and found all the hidden locations and I only have 3 extra
There is one more in the security side room where the mold is, you have to punch the wall in the middle to get in
Once you go into the zombie room stick to the left side in the semi circle room the once you get to the opposite of the flat side of the semicircle use a melee to break the wall
Teddy Holiday in the containment sector, in the medical wing you have to go through to get past security, it kinda is like a semi circle like this (| and it is on->(| this side you have to use a melee app to get it open. It’s at the pinnical of the semicircle.

I am only missing number 5 secret location there's no door in the area and why is it clean when on my game there's still sludge in the same area as 5
The frist one u did don't work iv been trying to land on the head of that guy and sheep keep going off
The moment I got levitation as an ability I knew I had to go back on the first map and go thro everything.

You need to progress in the story until Dr Underhill gives you a pill so you can walk in it.

You just jump onto one of the floating people, use them like a platform.

@@richarddraper3688 "just" is funny cause even after 20 tries or more they don't let me "stand" on them. i immediatly fall from a body as soon as i jump onto it. (PC version)

@@petepete4402 I've managed it somehow. if they don't let you stand on them for a short while, they just "don't work". I've shot em up and left the section via teleport. when you come back, these levitated people are arranged differently. try again. at one point it should work.
sadly it's a really bad hidden location since a small ledge was removed with a patch.
anyhow, if you miss it, at least you won't miss important objects if you're not in for a 100% run.

@@chahlik3187 Go to the Ventilation fast travel point, follow the signs to the janitors room (straight down the catwalk) and go through the regular sized door on the other side of the rack with boxes and junk. In THAT room, take the door beside the dart board.

@@HostOfFrenziedFlame if you're not sure how many AP you have just reset all abilities, it will show the total points you have

i had all of these besides the easiest, the top of the maintenance sector. idek why i had never thought to jump up there before lol
that first one was so annoying. and all the guides tell you to do the ground slam but that shit doesnt help when there's no video to accompany it ffs. this video is 10/10.
hidden locations are disappointing, there are always just some boxes in them....
Plus the upgrade point and sometimes some collectibles.

LOL I'm an idiot. Number 14 at 9:08 I was facing the other way and went over to the right and the hole seemed blocked off. I Was very confused. shot it a couple of times, threw stuff at it and then came back here to look at the comments, not a single one. Then I looked over the other side, noticed there was another map and oops the place where I was supposed to be.

You have to propel off the floating guy. Briefly land on him and it resets your Lev ability.
@@anonemous1046 I got it after 20 mins, but it didn't give a ability point so on that note I gave up on getting 100 ability points for the platinum

There's a third door that appears in the Janitors office after progressing the story enough
how did you get that outfit?
He is missing 1 hidden location in this guide and also does not show the roulette table puzzle that grants another 2 points. If you follow this guide you will be 3 points short at the end. Search for guides that show 20 hidden locations and you should be good.

At around 6:17 the lab 10 room is locked for me now. I discovered it before I had the mold pill. I went in then had to get out since it was hurting me. The door shut behind me. Now that I finished the game I tried going back but it stays locked. Is there another way to it?

I'm shocked and disappointed at some of these I missed. Especially the one in logistics... I fought so many enemies there, flying around. It felt like the Mandela effect when I went there after seeing this video, I was like WTF how on earth did I not see that gigantic hole in the ceiling. I'm surprised I didn't fly into it on accident.

Once you beat the mission Finnish Tango, you can access this door in the janitors office.
If you are having trouble, follow these three steps.
- Complete chapter 8
- Achieve 5 Star rating at Paleontologist
- Sleep in a private room 4 times to receive 4 letters from Paleontologist
Read the 4th mail and the memory chip will spawn

Location at 6:24 wasnt a hidden location for me.. i've never been there before either because I only just got the mold pill, I got jumped by like 10 mold hosts on that room though😂

First you have to complete a side quest called Old Growth. Then you will get a pill that allows you to explore these places

You can still get the point without the Old Growth mission. I was taking damage but got in and out before I took too much. I didn't have time enough to open the box though. I will get that box later.
Hello i'm about finish My Brothers Keeper soon and be able to fly after that. How many of these i can do after that mission, i mean roughly estimated? Ability points are more useful while struggling to finish the game.

At the janitor's office, @ 1:36 you can levitate above the entrance, then go on the levitating structures. There are 3 vaults, and going to the big light makes you... well that's a pleasant surprise, try it ;)
Huh? I did this location before and went back to check out what you meant.
So when you say the janitors office do you mean 'nowhere'. And when you say going into the big light you mean, the way out other than dying? Or am I missing something?
