Since I made this video the ability to look up and use 'ground slam' has been patched out of the game, so the first hidden location is very difficult to reach. I believe you can do it by stacking vending machines or using the floating people, but this isn't necessary, there are other ones in the game. Thanks to Ashmo for pointing this one out. I was able to lodge a vending machine in the thin opening between the tower and wall, then used the speaker box jump method to grab onto that, then up to the chest for number 1.
In medical in the mold filled room that has those little shower things along the back wall? launch something at the wall next to the bright light in the corner, there should be one of those square red exploding things nearby for you to launch, I found it because I wanted to destroy the light with the bomb, the light remained but the wall went down.
I can confirm you can just jump off of the floating people. I did it last night. Just float up above them until you lower on your own. Then you need to just tap them long enough to go airborne and activate levitate again. This is a quick double jump like motion. Took me two or three tries after messing with vending machines forever. Oh and he was floating upright so it doesn't have to be hunched over either.
@@alove8135 That's awesome. Glad I'm not alone. I'm bummed that I platinumed the PS4 version before the PS5 Ultimate Edition became free because my save doesnt transfer over. Which means I cant play the PS5 version of the DLC. It's not a huge deal or anything. Just a little annoyance.
Maybe this will help someone with the first spot after all this time: If you use the yellow vending machine and throw it in the small space between the wall and pillar, there is a good chance it get stucked. You can jump from the speakers to reach it and jump further. Got it that way after a few tries.
Number one was such an easier way of doing it that I did! I floated above a body and did a 2nd levitate from landing on it. Took 10 minutes of frustration!
Thanks for that suggestion, I tried it a couple of times and it didn't work before, but after I saw you say it's possible I managed it in about 20 seconds.

This is great, and I found it at just the perfect time. I'm kinda stuck halfway through Polaris and Mr. Tommasi. I think I've already stumbled on maybe half of these, but I should still get enough abilities to push on. A few things I especially liked about how you did this video: 1) you start each one from the fast travel menu and go to the access point, so I can actually find these hidden spots. 2) you don't waste time killing everybody, showing how much of a badd ass you are. That can be so annoying in some other vids. 3) you take the time, pause the action, and highlight key landmarks to make the travel easy to follow. All around great job, mate. Thanks! 😁
To everyone who can't reach to the first one, just throw the yellow fridge to the spot, then it shall fall diagonally, so it gets stucked right there and you can use it to jump. Pin so everyone read this!
Thank you this actually worked for me. It took a while to find the right angle to throw it to get it stuck but once it got stuck i just climbed on the wall speaker in front of the monument which gave me enough height to reach the stuck fridge.

Try to jump on a floating body. It took me many tries but I've managed to fly higher and land on the pillar! Im almost done with the secret areas and none of them really needs ground slam to reach.
There's a hidden room behind the wall in Containment near the turntables, where there are two identical-looking small rooms partially behind chain link fences. Just shoot at the walls and you'll find it. There's also a hidden room that you can find by shooting through a wall in the Executive sector, but I can't remember where I found it. I'll look for it again.

There is a wall in one of those identical-looking small rooms as you mentioned but if you go downstairs in the other small room you will see another picture on the wall and behind that is the second hidden room.

if you have trouble doing the slam on the first one... I did this : bring yellow fridge when you levitate, and put it down using 'use' key, and right when it fall, step on it and levitate on it quickly. I got it after a few tries

Finally got around to playing this game last week, and it didn't disappoint other than actual play length. I only had a few things left to do by endgame time though, but there were two boxes this helped me find. I got quite a few before I got the levitate ability by being sneaky/clever/stupid Escher-levels of stacking/maxing out my health boosts knowing I'd die but get the box anyway methods.
I just finished game....and I watch the other on you tube....because I break wall in contaiment sector...nobody post...and than saw you comments...glad I am not alone in this discovery🙂
Very good guide thanks. Just for everyone's benefit, the floating bodies thing doesn't work anymore either. I got it by using 3 vending machines stacked on top of each other. 1 is next to the pillar, and 2 is in the passage toward the director's office. Cheers from South Africa ✌️
At first location you can get higher using one of FBC personal floating up there. There are two floating. Just levitate above the one which is lower, drop on him and levitate immediately. After that you are high enough.
*Having trouble with the first location in Executive? ...Try my leap-frog method.* 1) Throw the yellow vending machine on top of the area you're trying to reach. I stood on the side opposite the vending machines, threw it between the walls, and it bounced to the top. 2) Jump up from the black (usually) unmovable vending machine. Levitate to a point where you can grab/pull the yellow vending machine down to you. 3) At your highest levitation point grab/pull the yellow vending machine down to you. Press cancel throw button. It'll hang there a split second. Now jump/levitate off of it to reach the top!

Ahmed Alzahrani if you need extra ability points to get the Master Parautilitarian trophy, you can do the puzzle in the Lock and Probability room and speak to Arish at the Central Executive checkpoint for a side mission that’s not listed. Don’t worry about trying to get that one ability point if you’re unable to jump on the guy and reach up.
I usually don't comment on walkthroughs but damn, this was impressive. I thought I had maybe missed one or two but I think it ended up being more around 5 lol.
For that 1st extra ability point, I definitely think you found a glitch, no matter how many times I tried, I was never able to get up there with your method… but I do think I found the developers solution to this puzzle There are 3 standard...(meaning the wood paneled ones you see in run down dr offices in real life) vending machines in the area that you can pick up and they will always stand upright with your telekinetic abilities, if you stack all 3 on top of each other by pressing X when you're holding them with the your telekinetic ability, they stack very neatly on top of each other right up on that planter.
After I finished the main story and all side missions I was still 8 or 9 points short. I had to find all hidden locations. My very last hidden location gave me my last ability point. Ironically I had found it before and didn't go into the room far enough. I read people saying you don't need to find everyone for the Plat and I can't see how that is true. I got it on finding the very last secret.
Can’t get number 1. Tried for half an hour copying the video but just drop back down after slamming! 😠 I did finally get it by using one of the floating dead bodies as a platform. Still a bit tricky though and took quite a few attempts. Couldn’t get it the way in the video after countless tries.
As of 02/2021, is anyone else having problems with the first clip and the ground slam..? It’s literally impossible. I think they patched this and the devs forgot about that hidden spot up there.
@@eden20111 hey mate, few weeks since I did this but I know what you mean, most objects have that effect. The game doesn't intend for you to to do this at all. I only managed to make this work using the ones around the corner towards the directors office, they look like old fashioned cigarette vending machines my mind serves me correctly. Best of luck if you have not already succeeded. Easy platinum apart from the tedium of skill point grinding.
I was able to stand on one of the floating peoples heads to get a lift. Though I might of just got lucky since the people spawn in random spots. Plus I'm pretty late to the party.
(10:56) So many people think that turning on the radio is what triggers Jessie to get rushed by a mold-mob in this secret room, but that's definitely not true. It's either triggered by opening the loot box or it's triggered when you walk up there. It's nothing to do with the radio though.
I've tried #1 so many times can never activate ground slam looking up. Tried landing on body always slip off. Tried stacking objects can't get one on top of another let alone several. Loved this game but as completionist this and Expeditions with ridiculous time limit have ruined the experience. Can't be bothered
I’m probably ages too late. But you can use the vending machines/ yellow fridge thing. You use your telekinesis to wedge it in the side gap and then fly up to it from the speakers.
*PLEASE up vote so it increase chance of people seeing this message and not wasting their time:* You do not need the first ability point to get the platinum. It's actually impossible to get in the current version of the game as you are no longer able to use Ground Slam upward. (The ground slam indicator vanishes if you move to an upward trajectory.)
@@jr.9792 I have neither the time nor patience for that. Same goes for stacking filing furniture; it's all too hit and miss. And more importantly, not needed if all you're after is the platinum - leaving this ability point doesn't stop you from getting the platinum trophy, and the other ability points are far easier to get. Would love to see a video of someone trying the jumping on people / stacking furniture technique, though. (An unedited attempt, I mean.)
Kaioken20 I didn’t know about ground slam so I tried stacking furniture with no success. But I got the idea of jumping on the floating bodies and I managed to get up in 5minutes max.
I just downloaded this last week off game pass. Thanks for this video. I’ve beaten the game but I need the ability points to fight a few of the remaining bosses. This is by far my favorite game of all time. I’ve already downloaded the DLC’s. Anyone have a suggestion on what I should play next? Anything similar to this?

I thought #1 was permanently broken because this week I have tried it every single day I played the game. I tried stacking vending machines and junk until the whole room is demolished. The game isn't like Fallout 4 where you have fine control on how you place items. I read that someone jammed a vending machine between the wall and pillar and jumped off that. I did get a vending machine wedged in there a few times but it is too high to reach. I also tried jumping on that one person but with no luck. Then finally I did manage to hit the person just right and got a second jump off him. Finally!

I took me like 15 minutes but I managed to stack 4 vending machines on top of each other. With the last two in vertical position it is doable.
If you go the the janitor's office after finishing all missions, there's 4 ability points for completing the take a break mission.

So for some reason I can't aim the reticle up when I want to use the ground slam if I look past medium height it just goes away
How do you aim the ground slam attack? Pressing R3 is downwards. I'm confused
Same problem here! Can't aim that high with ground slam. The reticle disappear at a certain height.
I thought it was just me. I even tried jumping off the speakers on the near wall and I can’t get anywhere near high enough to ground slam to the top.

You can get 19/20 as soon as you get levitate and keycard 6. I recommend doing them as soon as possible to unlock a lot of stuff.

I’m probably ages too late. But you can use the vending machines/ yellow fridge thing. You use your telekinesis to wedge it in the side gap and then fly up to it from the speakers.

Everybody jumped off the body to get to the first one. I had to triple stack the fridge to get to it 🤣

*PLEASE up vote so it increase chance of people seeing this message and not wasting their time:* You do not need the first ability point to get the platinum. It's actually impossible to get in the current version of the game as you are no longer able to use Ground Slam upward. (The ground slam indicator vanishes if you move to an upward trajectory.)
You can jump on top of the body
@@jr.9792 I have neither the time nor patience for that. Same goes for stacking filing furniture; it's all too hit and miss. And more importantly, not needed if all you're after is the platinum - leaving this ability point doesn't stop you from getting the platinum trophy, and the other ability points are far easier to get.
Would love to see a video of someone trying the jumping on people / stacking furniture technique, though. (An unedited attempt, I mean.)
Kaioken20 I didn’t know about ground slam so I tried stacking furniture with no success. But I got the idea of jumping on the floating bodies and I managed to get up in 5minutes max.

I wasn't able to step on a flying body, but I was able to put a table on a body, and THEN I could climb it

The 100 ability points trophy is the only hellish one in the game, I only had 82 when I finished the story and all side missions...

I can’t seem to do the first one in Central Executive. I tried the ground slam, I tried hopping off of one of the floating bodies, still can’t seem to get it.

There's 1 that's not on here that i found by accident. It's where the turntable is in Containment. On the same side where you operate the turntables before you actually go in that room you launch stuff at the wall to break it down, and it's a tiny room. I only seen it b/c the square button to open a item box was coming through
Found one in medical wing this same way. =)
@@C-M-E i just finished the foundation area and there's quite a few like that where you have to bust through the wall
No ability points in there? I think it's not a hidden location. Just a lootbox behind a fake wall.

I thought #1 was permanently broken because this week I have tried it every single day I played the game. I tried stacking vending machines and junk until the whole room is demolished. The game isn't like Fallout 4 where you have fine control on how you place items. I read that someone jammed a vending machine between the wall and pillar and jumped off that. I did get a vending machine wedged in there a few times but it is too high to reach. I also tried jumping on that one person but with no luck. Then finally I did manage to hit the person just right and got a second jump off him. Finally!
