Idk how. It’s impossible to replace that human spark of creativity. AI is a good worker, but doesn’t have a soul so isn’t great at making things that have a human feel. Ask yourself this… can you tell when an image or text is AI generated or human generated? Of course you can. There’s just intangible about it that you can feel.

    • @Francis-f5k
      @Francis-f5k 5 минут назад

@desertrose0601 but you are looking at this from the perspective of now. That's a shallow perspective as we are only getting started. Human creativity is always made up of our accumulated experiences. It's like chess. Computers can now beat Grand Masters, why? Are grandmasters lacking creativity?

Blue collar tradesmen will be the last to be replaced. I may be biased because I'm a retired heavy equipment mechanic and I was making good money all along, even while apprenticing or starting out. Those jobs can be somewhat recession proof, and will be damn hard to replace.
I think we should give AI to the gender studies courses at colleges. It can teach because all they do is parrot woke talking points.

@HappyDog47075 I actually went to trade school for automotive mechanic just to get a paper that said I could dovwhat I'd been doing since I was 12. I jut fell into heavy equipment repair because I liked it. It also started at higher pay for a newbie. As far as for the young people, trade schools are cheaper than college. Learn diesel engine repair/rebuild. There is money there and less competition these days as well. Diesel mechanics always earn more. I worked on dozers, panscrapers, things like that. You just have find what you enjoy fixing or making. Trade schools are important. A lot of community colleges have classes where you can learn this stuff too.

She can sustain herself on that and LOVE what she does. It's not necessarily recession proof, but just an example that kids can be successful w/o college.

I have been a stylist for 28 years. Bought my first home at the age of 25. I can assure you it’s a great career if you are willing to bust your butt to put the time in and get a solid clientele. It’s a lot of nights and weekends when you are young. Which is the downside of the career. I don’t believe AI or robots will ever take over this career. A robot can not offer a personal relationship with a professional. During the Great Recession it wasn’t easy, however it wasn’t easy for anyone. There were no layoffs in my industry that I’m aware of. I wouldn’t change my career choice for anything. It has done me well. It’s a year or less of school and you can still go to college if need be. At the very least you will have a good paying job.

The first learns from the Craftsman the latter can create for himself and others that which hasn’t been created before. A Craftsman is the result of an apprentice becoming the artist. At the heart of all creativity is exactly that...HEART. AI will never have heart. It might be smart and be able to create or recreate individuals or write a script, but it's the chemistry and connection between individual personalities that allow us express ourselves in unique unpredictable ways. There is a lot of improvisation in tv/ film, based on being in the moment and in relationship to other cast members and crew. Also a lot of mistakes and accidents that actors have also make it into the final cut because it benefits the character or plot in someway. This need for AI to be perfect will take the fun out of everything. The movie the Princess Bride is a great example. Billy Crystal was told to improvise and wasn't given any lines. The chemistry and play between him and the crew created one of the most iconic characters and he was only in the movie for 5 minutes. AI will never measure up to talent like that.

My father left the navy in the middle of his 2nd enlistment to help take care of his younger siblings when his mother died (his father died when he was 2). He worked on the docks, as a UPS driver, and later a janitor who went pretty high up in the union. He only got a couple of classes in at a junior college, but usually had 2 to 3 jobs to help raise my sister and I and our 3 half siblings who had been abandoned by their deadbeat college educated engineer father. Dad read constantly, studied history passionately, and was one of the smartest guys I ever met. It always ticked me off when college educated people of clearly average IQ would put him down.

I'm not sure AI would have a problem with the start stop concept... it would just create patterns from the current library of movies (millions) measured against what is award winning and thus the pattern of what works. That's all AI is... making patterns and then testing those patterns against outcomes. And it can do it in fractions of a second. The more AI grows, the better its patters and measures become.

In the early 90s I took a communication class at a local college. It was absolutely amazing, and the teacher was fantastic. He introduced a book to us,
the hypothesis of which was that robots and AI are not only going to be introduced into society but are actually the next level of human evolution. I really cannot remember the name of the book or the author. 30 years later, though, I am thinking this might become more of a theory than a hypothesis.

For once, I thought he actually sounded intelligent and articulate, I disagree with him however. AI's only limit is the data it has access to. If AI has no restrictions to data, it could easily replace all of Hollywood. Soon, you'll read about AGSI, and when that happens, it will replace just about everything that doesn't require physical human actions.
I believe that the greatest factor for human actors/directors/etc. will be the people as the masses, wanting human made products though nostalgia and/or activism against AI.

Everyone should read James P. Hogan's *_Two Faces of Tomorrow_* for a credible and fairly optimistic portrayal of how a true sentient and benevolent Artificial Super Intelligence may first arise! This book definitely deserves a good movie!

5:05 Ben is wrong about AI… it is not just an “imitator”. People are not concerned nearly as much as they should be… but this evolution in our species is inevitable. The only way we will ever become an interplanetary and eventually intergalactic species is to evolve from being a carbon based species to a silicon based one, barring some miracle of nature.

CGI is good enough to make movies. Look at Disney Star warts. Crap but capable of eliminating actors. Hollywood can go as quick as anyone.

AI concerns me for my daughter because she’s an artist and has only ever wanted to become an artist as an adult. She’s going to have to have a serious back up plan, which anyone should have anyway, but she is a creative person and something in analytical field would be soul crushing for her. She would be one of those people stuck in a job that she absolutely hated and with no ambition.

I wasn't 'shocked' by Ben Affleck's take on AI, but I was shocked by how much better his vocabulary is in comparison to the characters he plays in movies. He is a smart man! He chooses beautiful females as wives, but neither Jen is impressive when it comes to their politics.

At least if he’s on vacation he might not break anything else on his way out… I once watched a neighbor get evicted, then he trashed the house, ripped wire out of the walls to sell. Biden’s rummaging through his toolbox at this point, about to tear the walls apart to spite us

it does not say that. the Bible says:
      Rev 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, **whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb** slain from the foundation of the world.
      Rev 13:17
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
We who belong to the Lamb of God are not included in this part of the program, except as remote viewers.

Liked his movies. he is a good actor and a director. he is kind to people, especially to workers. not judging him based on his beliefs but glad he was able to realize the better and brighter path. everyone is entitled to his opinions - but the good thing is if there was a mistake made, it is justly corrected!

Ben is right. Spot on, actually. AI models require training, and what it is trained on is data. We generate data, lived experience, language, and creativity. You name it, and we generate it. The AI models can and are used to generate synthetic data to train other models, but real data is still of higher quality. What will be the real deciding factor between creatives will be who uses AI and who doesn't.
