Targeted 82 times with 76 receptions. Damn!!!!
GotDAM!
Look for this kid on 3rd down
He had 82 catches last year don't know how many targets he had. Look his stats up
Great breakdown, and love your videos. Shorter intro with more current scenes would be great!
Isiah Williams is the real deal. Just watched a 20 minute plus highlight reel with Williams playing qb and then wr. Eyes, eyes, eyes. This guy has quick processing and his cuts are talent supreme. Quick in the decisions and burst into that quickness. Yeah, didn't have the combine numbers, but the film, damn. Hope he makes the team. Yac. yac. yac. I did see some St. Brown in the film, like double take and dang that reminds me of Brown.
You should also mention his IQ. An Academic All Big 10 receiver who used to be a quarterback will probably get on the same page as Goff pretty quickly. If you can win Goff's confidence, you'll get the ball.
Brad and Dan love YAC players.
He reminds me a bit of Ameer Abdullah, not the fastest guy but extremely quick cuts with good acceleration. I think he'll make the roster.
Reminds me a lot of St. Brown
Good info -- appreciate it!! Go Lions!!
Thanks Anthony for the video. Brad Holmes gets it. He understands that you cannot rest on your laurels when it comes to building a roster. Every time you sign one of your stars to a large money contract, you need to make sure that you have players on rookie contracts or low dollar contracts who are performing well (first contract draft picks, prove it deals and UDFAs.). Williams sounds slow, he’s definitely short, but your analysis of his strengths was detailed and interesting. He was productive in college, we’ll see if that translates to the NFL. For the Lions to spend that kind of cash just to have the kid try out, they must’ve seen something.
Your comments was spot on my friend. Whenever you sign large contracts to your players you have to balance it out with small contracts to others.
Thanks. 😅
Why do you think he didn't get drafted his height or speed. His game speed seems faster than 4.63
New to the position, small, slow. Nothing athletically stands out
What was his shuttle and 3 cone drill times those could be a better indicator as to why is game speed seems much faster than his 40 time
Dude only had 6 incompletions out of 82 target's that's insane.
That's wrong he had 82 catches. Don't know how many targets
@sirrichard6685 yea that’s my bad. I scripted like 5 videos that day and got the numbers mixed up by 1 row 😅
Really like this pick up.
Love those numbers.
Look forward to seeing how the Lions use Williams should he make the team. Not saying he'll be St. Brown 2.0, but could be a good depth piece at WR.
This guy is NFL ready with out a doubt he can ball.
Julien Edelman never ran away from anyone either. But he could move the chains.
This IMO was one of the best UDFA pickups of the class. Any other draft and he would have been drafted day 3 without a doubt.
Lions have an Illinois connection .
I'm not even sure why we even put so much stock in draft projections. They're rarely ever right. So many top end superstars and starters come from day 2 and 3.
Amon-Ra was rated as average quickness, lacking play strength, below average separation, and very little grit - particularly in run blocking . Yes, the report actually used the word grit. lol
Well that and landing spot is so important
He's goona be working with some real talent in training camp... shouldnt be long before we see what he can do.
Practice squad guy.
Amon-Ra lives in the slot so he doesn’t fit there rn. But he could find a role eventually.
Injuries happen and it's nice to have a comparable back up to st brown. Brad please find us a starting level swing/ r tackle. The only real hole left on the roster. Upgrades can be made elsewhere. I.e. kicker but that's about it. This team is stacked across the board with talent and depth. Superbowl or bust.
I hear you, but he’s the new Tom Kennedy. A lot of fans like the underdog and latch onto a udfa, but he’s not making the team. Best of luck to him imo.
More Shifty than Powell IMO.
Hes 5'9 wont be a starting wideout prolly special teams
He gone be trash bro
He’s a UDFA. Any value is just a bonus
I’ve seen your open a hundred times . It’s a bit long and self serving . Any plans for something fresh ?
Too slow
u not faster den him
@@Keira-ms7rqno I am not a football player.. but facts are facts ! He is slow for the sport!
St Brown ran 4.6 at combine however he’s always open. You don’t know football!
