Crazy that apple is still supporting the 6S with security updates. Makes me feel a lot better about dropping as much as I did on my first pro model iPhone
Used to have issues on my iPhone 7 when 15.8.1 came out, my cell signal would stop working and I had to re-insert the sim card. I had to reinstall iOS to fix that so i'm looking forward to iOS 15.8.2 not having many issues. Size on iPhone 7 for the update was 189.3MB.
Ever think that maybe people don’t want a new iPhone? Ever thought that maybe some people can’t afford that and are not as fortunate as you and me? Ppl can use what they want if it works it works big deal
@@elijahbennett6177 Thanks Elijah. I couldn't have said it better. Nowadays everyone keeps buying a new phone every 2 years without actually needing a new phone.
@@paulbarua i removed all the data sharing, location sharing, seri reporting, and moved low power mode to the home widiget page. with smart charging turned on (which keeps your device in low power mode more by not charging above 80% sometimes), and no background app refresh, i use about 8% battery per day on standby power, and with a few hours of light use per day the battery lasts 2-3 days. i replaced the screen and battery and the parts cost like 5$ total. really good phone if you take the hour or two to change the hundreds of settings you have to. only thing that uses my location now is google maps and only when im using the app.
@@Secna It happened right after updating to 15.8.2 which is strange to me so it is natural to think that it might be software issue. The list of problems: - Mic not working on carrier calls and "speaker" symbol is greyed out too. When i use bluetooth headset it works fine. Apple Wired headphones do not connect to my phone but work fine on other devices. I can charge my phone normally. - "Cannot initiate a call" appears on whatsapp but when i use device mic but when i use wireless headphones call initiates then drops. If audio chip is dead then is wired headphones functionality connected to that chip as well?

Me too bro. Cause I’m still rocking with my 6s plus.

I use iphone se 2016 pls tell me is there any problems after update ios 15.8.2?
Even if you Get updates, support by apps is still wack. So it’s really not usable lol.
These updates are to stop jailbreaking which adds more functionality to older devices.
You have a point about that.
Yes
Can’t really stop checkm8 exploit though
Bruuhhh my iphone 6 got a ios 12 update
Okay having an iphone 5s in 2024 is a little ridiculous now. You can get a iphone X for $140 lmao

I have iphone7 and using ios15.8.1, I can’t use the mic on any application that uses mic.. is this fixedin the latest update??
yess
I didn’t have it earlier but i have this problem on 15.8.2. Please proceed with caution.
It is a common problem with the iphone 7 - the audio chip is dead.
