Harbor Freight Drill Master Wet Tile Saw- Assembly/Demo

- In this video I assemble and demo the Drill Master Wet Tile Saw that I got from Harbor Freight. Used it when I installed my kitchen backsplash. Worked great. For $50 it was better than renting one.
*always follow the instruction manual
This is the equivalent of the old band tip jar:

This is the way instructional videos are properly done.
Thank you for the power cord loop tip! I had never thought or heard of that before, very clever and a great preventative to a bad situation 🤙
Glad to help. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for all your help! I just got mine yesterday, and I have to cut some tile for my backsplash.
Happy to help!
Awesome demonstration! You touched on all of the basics and the important bits!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! You helped me more than you know putting this thing together. You were clear and concise, and now I have a working day to cut stone :) Thank you!
Glad I could help! Enjoy the project.
Thank you for this Steve. For a back splash, subway tile job, this will perfect.
Hope it was a help Mike. Worked out for me.
I'm sure you'll succeed MJ. Yes, you can cut glass mosaic with a wet saw. You can get a glass mosaic tile blade for the wet saw. Here's an article you can read: mosaictileoutlet.com/blogs/news/how-to-cut-glass-mosaic-tile and here's a video I did on installing mosaic tile: ruclips.net/video/f5acT07D4Is/видео.html&pbjreload=101
Terrific demo! Thanks so much for posting.
Happy to help!
That was a really good presentation.
Amazingly nice demo. TY so much!

Thank you so much! You made this so easy!
Glad I could help Autum.
I'm heading to Harbor Freight ... I'm a handyman, and for long time I was struggling to buy one, I don't like to waist my money, even the tile cutting machine is cheap. Thank you !!! for your time and beautiful presentation !!! God bless you !!!
Thank you! Hope the tile saw serves you well. For me it was worth it because, even though I won't be using it a lot, the cost to rent one just for the backsplash job I did would've cost me more money.
@@stevekonbassThank you !!! Tomorrow I will use it for small bathroom renovation...
Hope the job goes nice and smooth for ya!
Thanks for info is really v interesting
Thank you so much for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
BAM...just like that! You ROCK, dude!!! Thanks:))
You bet!
Thank you thank you thank you so much better than trying to read the instructions thank you
Glad to help.
Thanks 🙏 am doing a a small bathroom never done it before
You can do it!
Thanks so much! This saved me! 🙌🏼
Glad it helped!
Very good presentation
Thanks!
Thank you!
Thank you! Saved me a lot of headache.
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the demo. I'm thinking as long as I get a diamond cutter the blade should work for glass mosaic tile. My dilemma is the product has metal too.
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
For less than $50 bucks you can’t go wrong with this. The only thing I’d change is the blade guard. I’d make it clear, so you could see where the blade begins/ends the cut.
what do you mean by "go wrong"
@@eitanengel8259 It’s worth the small amount of money.
Someone must have listened to you. My tile saw set up does have a clear guard, I just purchased this today. 3-18-23
Thanks for the video, could you show how to cut a curved quarter-round ceramic trim for beveled inside and outside corners?
Thanks. You saved me.
Glad to help.
Thank you sir
Welcome.
Steve your the man!
Thank you for making this video helped out alot!
Awesome! Glad it was a help John.
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Thank you. I just got this for tiling my small bath and shower, but the instructions were garbage. Thank you, again
Glad it helped.
Thanks bro
Glad to help.
Good video my upper blade guard is too loose wont stay in up position like yours
Are they the best no!! But they do work, they cut very slowly. But ive got many hours on mine and it keeps ticking!! I'm going upgrade to a MK saw! But for $50 its a wonderful saw!
🎉🎉
will it cut rocks and geodes, or quartz?
Thanks for the instructions. Can you tell me how to put in the drain plug? I cant figure it out. Plus it has a hole straight through it. I dont want to break it
Funny story... I went to take a look so I could answer your question and I busted mine, lol. There should be a rubber gasket at the bottom of the plug and that should prevent the water from leaking out. Try putting in the plug as far as it will go and then put in a mug of water to see if it leaks. The water should stay in the tray.
Thank u. The directions sucked on how to setup in the manual. Ur backsplash came out good
Thanks Oliver! Glad the video was a help.
Steve i have brushed nickel plated tile that the drill master won't cut though
Check the box on the tile. It should give you instructions on how to cut it.
Did you use harbor freight blades?
Yes Daniel. I used the Warrior brand they sell right next to the display where they sell the tile saws.
So how would I cut the bevel for two tiles to meet on an outside corner as I’d have to cut with the face of the tile downward which from what I was told is a big no-no?
If I were doing it, I would try cutting upside down with a piece of scap tile to see if there's any chipping when I made the bevel cut. If there was, I'd try it again but this time with a piece of painters tape attached to the tile to see if it prevents chipping.
@@stevekonbass it worked for the most part, my only issue was this was 12x24 tile and it was hard to keep steady the whole time so it wasn’t a complete flat cut.
I see a tile bass any day.
LOL!! Ya got me laughin' on that one!
Steve great video however water spraying everywhere (I GOT SOAKED) 😂. Suggestions ????
lol, yeah it does splash a bit. I got wet too. Make sure the water tray is filled to the right level and not overfilled. It's best to cut outside, even though it might slow you down a bit.
@@stevekonbass put on your video it doesn't look like-it does on mine. It shoots out of the back. Projectile like am i missing a piece?
Make sure your blade guard is all the way down when you cut. That helps prevent the water shooting up toward you and keeps your fingers from the blade.
Contractor bag poncho....
I only came here to see how much it would spit out. At work I legitimately have to use several different wet saws and this is the only one that seems to expand out rather than spit forward.
Tired of wearing Trash bags
Can I use this saw to cut a wine bottle?
Don't think so.
I found two equips but sadly incomplete , 😢 , I'm gonna sell them motors , 20$ each
Very helpful..I totally missed a step in the assembly process, and the instructions were garbage.
Glad it was a help.
Riving not riveting
I misspoke and should be punished... eh, there should be a period at the end of your sentence. Shame on both of us.
@@stevekonbass come on, man. It's not an attack, I'm not punishing you. You are giving an instructional video. You should receive correction with more gratitude. You learned a new word because of me. You're welcome. Keep the videos coming. 👍
You didn't teach me a new word. I was multitasking and misspoke. I have hundreds of videos up and I'm sure I flubbed words dozens of times. Nonetheless... punctuation. Capitals at the beginning of sentences too. (Fun banter!)
