Great timing after just watching Jason C's 10 year review which left me leaving a comment that on the Tin cup website they only list 1 actual 10 year. There isn't multi variations listed or mention of variations. Thanks for adding some clarity to this for me.

There NEEDS to be a bourbon skirmish with Tincup 10 and Eagle Rare… I tasted them side by side and could NOT tell a difference, best value in bourbon vs best value that you can actually find!
I tried them side by side and they are close, ER a tad sweeter but TC a good substitute!

But is it as good as Russell's Reserve 90 proof 10 yr? That runs around 35 dollars in my area. True RR doesn't come with a snazzy metal shot cup attached but you only need so many shot glasses.

I was able to get ahold of the company who confirmed they are all the same. They made a comment about how they wanted the branding to be the same between their regular release and the 10 year. I made the comment that it did, absolutely, create confusion with what it was as American whiskey was a broader category that allowed blending and bourbon was a set category. Whole mess with branding and marketing.

Thank you for doing this video. Maybe this explains the variation in the price. In my area the original bottle version (AA) is $33-$35 whiskey. People have questioned my truthfulness when I stated this in the comments.
They claim that this is a $55 bottle and that's that. It is a bit confusing about the price discrepancy, but I have zero reason to lie.🥃🤔

When you're positive about the outcome, it doesn't feel like a blind. Just sayin'. You're a better taster than I am but I know that when I do a blind, if I know the 3 bottles, my mind is constantly trying to put together and justify everything - price, label, reputation... I don't want to make a big conspiracy out of these bottles, but if you're sure before you start, human nature will get you what you were sure of because we love being right.
