I gotta say this version of the Xi Gundam is growing on me
24:00 the fan under shoulder's wing is really tricky. Personally i think (not so sure), if we can 3D print all that fans in opaque and put light behind, that will be superb, but that will be a lot of hard work need to be done.
Other is nice work btw.

This kit was one of my all time favorite builds ,it was close to a Re 1/100 kit and it is awesome looking when painted ,the penelope is ok but the Xi is the one that is worth the money for sure and if you can get the set with the effect parts then i suggest getting that one ,it looks so amazing with the effects !
I haven’t been able to watch your videos like I normally do because I’ve been so busy with work and dealing with damage from Ida but watching your videos helps me to forget about all that I lost. Love the build, and I think this is one of the best paintjobs I seen on the Xi!!! ⚡️ Only thing I don’t really like are the eyes, the shape of the eyes are lost. Only thing I see are two bright lights but maybe it’s the camera… or it’s just me. 😂

Been watching your stuff for a while now. Love all the work you put in!
You should check out the "side glow" fiber optics out there. They shine along the surface area of the cylinders so you'd just need to light up the ends. Also, as a side note, when you need to bend fiber optics, I find there is less risk if you use heat. Like from your soldering iron, just hover the fiber optic over the hot part of the iron and gradually get a bit closer until the heat and gravity bends it for you! (Just don't get too close!)

Wonderful build as always man. Your work always inspires me to better my airbrushing skills! I also really like the trick you did for the clear eyes for your LED work. Never would have thought of that myself.
Just an FYI, this Gundam has a weird name, and I'm guessing that's why you just referred to it by its model number. It's pronounced "kuhsee" after the greek symbol in it's name.

It turned out really good. The LEDs in the fans and thrusters turned out great and you did a fantastic paint job.
Is there a reason you don’t trim the LED wires down a bit instead of rolling all of it up into the shoulders?
The only critique I have... The ONLY... Is the strength of the glow of the eye's LED. I think it should be more subdued, since it creates a sense of blinding oversaturation and loosing the signature aggressive green glow. Right now it has overpowering glow that makes the face loose detail and depth. Either this or it's because of the way camera captured the light and creates this effect.

i really love ur work but still even though u done some custom job for the gunpla i think u need more attention to details like the edges details in the armor. i recommend u to watch this channel SDARK, u may get some tricks, ideas and concepts on how to do some realistic details for the next gunpla model also. but still auto subscribe from me keep up the good work sir.

Out of curiosity, how long do you let your parts sit between coats of paint?
may I ask what do you use to thin acrylic paint for airbrushing? is it neccessary to add some retarder so that the paint wont clog up the nozzle?

Penelope is is huge for HG that is it. Personally I feel it is not complete. The build was lacking and physically hollow. Very unfulfilling.
