AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR SWING BY
Sorry for the unexpected drop but I'm going to be extremely busy this Friday with the family. But before I forget, Happy Thanksgiving my dudes and dudettes 🦊💙
Hey there I just wanna say thanks for all these painting ideas that I now have . also even though there's a small amount of light leaking in the head I think it looks nice almost like psycho frame in the head
Very nice build as usual.
Dude, that "v" after 93- and Hi- is actually the Greek letter pronounced as "nu".
It hurts so much every time someone pronounce it "V"
@@LockonStratos08r 😭
Hi nu not Hi V. V is Nu in the Greek alphabet. Sorry about the correction my dude, I still love the content though. Hope you build the MG Ver Ka Hi Nu keep up the great work
Lol it’s driving me nuts! I knew someone else was going to say something too.
The RG line has been knocking it out of the park lately. The suits chosen and the amount of detail in each of these is incredible. I'm pretty hyped to get the RG God Gundam, even if I am not a super fan of the G Gundam series, because these kits have been so phenomenal.
I know right! I'm so looking forward to next year as real grade 😊
Wait a minute did you say RG god gundam is coming????!! my goodness.
The Nu and the Sazabi are AMAZING RG kits and are on par or better than their MG versions. I would absolutely suggest building them as someone who has built both (RG and MG for both kits).
Nu and Sazabi were the best of 2019. Nu and Zeong were the best of 2021. These were all great leaps from whatever kits available before their times.
Thank you enormously for sharing your soundtrack
I love watching your builds.
So relaxing and informing.
Amazing build as always Otaku, looking forward to the next one!
This little guy is probably the best iteration of the Nu Gundam I've ever built. The articulation is insane, and posing the novel Nu is even easier and more fun than the RG movie version. The details look even more impressive than the Nu ver Ka, which the RG Nu failed to outshine. The proportions I prefer since it just has that chonk without looking too stubby, retaining the feel of agility I got with the RG Nu. Everything works so smoothly and the leg bend is just wayy better engineered than the RG movie Nu. The only things the RG movie ver I feel might be better are the beam rifle and the bazooka. The beam rifle on the RG Nu has more color separation & details, and same with the hyper bazooka. The bazooka on the movie ver also has more subtle connection point to the backpack unlike the novel ver, which can be a thorn to my side at times.
for me that scratch on the upper arm is a happy accident. gave me an idea for paint chipping for battle damage or wear effect where the parts would hit and I think is also applicable in real life. It may suck for this piece of art but is a good reference.
great work as always!
As always, fantastic job! 💪🏽💪🏽👍🏽
This has been one of the best RG I’ve seen in years! But, since I have the MG Ver Ka. Of this GUNDAM, I’m not really interested. Still phenomenal build dude!! Still curious if your going to do the Metal Gear of Revengence…😁
Also!! Just this weekend, Bandai just revealed the RG G GUNDAM!!! I’m definitely going to buy that one!! Maybe a future project for ya!!
The amount of thought that he puts into these gundam kits is just astounding. Never thought this was possible with real grades
The hi-nu gundam is literally my favorite mobile suit, can’t wait till my real grade shows up tomorrow.
Worth the wait and top notch as usual.. great color.. and even better lighting.. well done!
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
Great work! Always making stuff that bangs! Just a fun idea for a future video but what if you made a Star Wars based Gundam? Or maybe an Elite form Halo styled like a Mobile suit ? I'd love to see your rendition of an Elite in Mobile Suit form! Just an idea. Looking forwards to your next Gunpla!
You seem to do a lot of pre shading. But it mostly covered up with the white when you paint it. I really don’t see a lot of people pre shade that much. Wouldn’t a light wash be better?
That is beautiful 😍 🤩 👌🏿
Are you intentionally painting at a downwards angle so the paper towels catch the excess spray paint? Bc if you are, that's genius. I have a booth that works fine for airbrush, but cans still manage to fill the room with fumes. I wear a mask, but I dont want that stuff in the house.
The RG Nu is as fantastic as the praise for it would suggest though. I do suggest picking it up at some point in the future because it will not dissapoint in the slightest.
Those poses at the end tho. Wow!
Why did you pronounced the suit’s name as “Hi- Vee” and not “Hi- Nu”?
This guy always struggles with pronunciation and grammar. Not sure if he's esl or something
A lot of people don’t recognize the v as the greek letter and just think it’s a normal v.
@@darkendbeing yet he pronounces the V correctly in Nu Gundam
Brilliant, absolutely spectacular work! I actually watched from start to end and I picked up so many new tips and tricks. As I am quite new to this hobby, I have some questions to improve myself in the long run, and apologies in advance if they're stupid:
1) when you're doing pre-shading, does that count as 'panel lining' since you're separating the panels through shadowing?
2) did you paint the inner frame? I got confused which were armor plates and which were the inner frame
3) how did you panel line those little notches? (Did you panel line at all?)
4) did you topcoat?
Thanks so much for making this video it is truly stellar work :)
one of my fave gundam. the hi nu gundam
To be fair, RG Zeong had an action base because it didn't have any legs. Great video btw!
Really awesome video buddy - love your content
This is a beautiful work of art!
would it be possible for you to itemize the led setup? I'm looking to get into the next echelon of modeling but im a bit hesitant to start buying things for led's if im gonna be missing parts or power, just dont wanna melt anything
I love to see the gundam frames from IBO as rg it well be amazing
So beautiful paintjob. greetings
Amazing 😮😮❤❤👍👍

Hey dude, absolutely insane build. I used to build when I was younger, but then stopped as I became an adult. I've recently started building again and have a bit of a back log to go through. A wonderful friend bought me a metalic MG Sinanju and a MG OVA ver of Unicorn, I bought myself this RG Hi-Nu and a MG ver Ka of Sazabi. I'm getting myself back into practice building this RG... and Holy crap, your custom build is amazing! How do you control the LED's? I've been having a bit of a time just getting clean cuts and getting rid of the nub marks with a gunprimer riser file... but your LED installing is next level bro! I definitely would love to learn how your design principles on installing the LED's! I'm hoping to go full custom on my Sazabi, but am having to scale up to custom painting since I want to build out a paint booth and get a hold of the paints I'm going to need since I want a clean White Sazabi with Blue Holo Water decals and blue metal parts. Any wisdom you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hello sir nice work! Do you actually painting all of thos before assembly? Not assemble first and them strip them down and reassemble them?
Sir can you do a summary about how many led unit you use in the kit in the discription please!!!
you are my hero
solid work
Good video love the build but I had to mute the music. Pretty grating.
Great work always dude! Where do you get your sorting boxes from?
Oh man... RG Line going to be the "Flagship" of Bandai in the future instead of PG's😂😂😂
Otaku Builder (or basically all gunpla builders on RUclips): come for the builds, stay for the great choice of music
HELL YAH!!💙🦊
Good day! Any tutorial for led wiring? Do you use resistor? Any tips please help.
As always, come for the builds and stay for the music 🥰
Btw any chances of ever working on some grunt mobile suits? I'm talking RGM's like the Jesta and Jegan or the GNX from 00. While Gundams are more visualy striking i always find the grunt suits to be just as good in their simplicity.
I recently painted a model with acrylics after using Vallejo Primer and the paint is still incredibly fragile. I’m treating it like eggshells putting it together while still having to touch up. What PSI do you normally set at since I may not be putting out enough paint? Any advice?
I have a problem painting inner frame and articulating armors the rubs and fitting part. Because after painting and top coating every is to tight to fit assemble. Any tips?
the only reason the Zeong came with an action base is because it literally doesnt have legs
So did I miss it in the vid or did he not clear coat this??
In Italy we don't have Mission Models colors, what can I use as alternatives?
Hey do you know that the hi v gundam is from a light novel version of char's counter attack
Utaku instead of otaku
Bendai instead of bandai
V instead of nu
Man, why???
is there a tutorial how to clean nubmark??
was resistors installed, if so, what type? smd or normal?
how do I buy
Did you call Hi Vee??? Gundam?????
if there was more talking and less music i would have subbed. like your work though.
It's pronounced as "Hi-Nu"
I can't find that last song at the end of the video during the B Roll shot. 😭
Ignore that comment found it after removing instrumental from the song.
I dont do rg or hg..with the exception of the rg astray red frame..
But the mg hi nu verk ka is amazing
I must echo the sentiment from the first reply. The newer RGs are pretty much the best bandai has had to offer in recent years, and size isn’t a problem depending on the MS. My Nu is barely a head shorter when next to my master grades
I'm now disappointed with MG version of this.
I am both amazed and envious of ur skill! Amazing work!
