Yeha to service ka simple matlab hota bas engine oil, pil filter or chain adjust krdo washkrdo hogya service or niklo paise. ... 7 times maine service kariya TVS centre se ek bar bhi mujhe satisfied nahi hua. 2 saal hogya bike ko aj tak tapping chck nhi kiya.

Important to Note, Feeler gauge for inlet and outlet is different, 0.06mm for inlet and 0.08mm for exhaust. so two different feeler gauges are required. TVS recommends tappet adjustment every 6k KMS .
Does slipper clutch make noise? Just got my My RTR 200 4V today and it makes krrr krrr sound while downshifting and when I release throttle but not when I rev on neutral. Is it normal or is that noise from any other part?

Bs3 ...sir usme jab gaadi start karta hu to .. tik tik ki sound aati h engine se....and jah garam hota h engine to sir irritating si sound aati hai .... Lagta hai jaise kuch ghiss rha ho .... .. please reply mai bhot pareshan ho gaya hu ... Har jagah mechanic alag alag baat keh rha hai ... Koi kehta hai head ka kaam karwao... Koi kehta hai full engine... And koi half engine banwane ko kehta hai
Nope no major problems as such. Only once water was found inside fuel tank which was due to impure petrol. This was fixed easily by tank cleanup. Go for it it's a great bike

Brother. I'm thinking of buying this beauty. In your honest opinion, how's the reliability and engine performance ? I was thinking about Xpulse but I'm not an off roader guy. And please consider pillion comfort as well
Even I had considered xpulse first but since 99% I'm gonna use it on road, I got the Apache. Engine performance is more than enough for city. You can easly reach 130km/hr on highways. So far no major issues with the bike. I have ridden it around 6K kms in 1 year. Pillion is comfort is average.
Go for some another bike bro..... He is lucky that he has got that experienced machanic.....I bought 160 4v just 10 days ago....and I face this problem but the mechanics at service centre can't detect or repair it...apart from this built quality of different accessories are just worst.
In my bike i completed 1500 km in first 500 km i made my first service after that in 700 km in 4th gear 55-60 km speed i heard kat kat noise after that I visited service centre they actually don't know where the sound is coming they tested my bike for 1 week i happened after two weeks of my bike delivery in first 500 km i drive below 60km speed . After me making a complaint on tvs toll free number showroom service manager called me and said surely we will handover your bike they handover the same day after i making an complaint they said crannksoft and bearing got damaged after that they replaced then i made an test drive for 20 km then i got the same noise in 70km to 75 km in 5th gear i asked my bike serviced mechanic he said just drive another some more kmm then i am driving till day but I am not going this speed 70 to 75 i go only below and above this speed because today also i tested in highway by going on this speed 73 i got the sound next week i am going to Kerala trip please some one help me

Ns 200, 4 gear me 30 pe chalti but apache nhi free chalti kyuki 5 gear me speed jyada powrr hoti hai so 5 gear gadi ko 4 gear me 60-65 chala skte bina 5th gear dale
Me apache engine ko 10mese 13 points duga mene 52000km ragda hai chalaya nhi ragda hai daily 125-130-135 speed pe daily 100-200km, bs4 2020 mpdel, and aaj bhi bike 130 jati and 45-48 mileage and pickup me aj bhi ksi bhi mew plusr150 ko hara isse pehle mere pass fzs25 thi 46000km chalaya usse uski halat kharab ho gyi thi rough driving se yamaha and tvs engine parts and models me bhut fark hai tvs long lasting hai overall and mere pass ns200 and plsr 180 bhi thi old bs3 iss ramge me apache is best model
Mejhe to TVS k oil se koi problem nahi he log TVS k oil ko pasand kyu nahi karte pata nahi. mera apache 200 2021 40k chal chuka he pura bike abhi nee hi he koi and pahelese smooth chalti he.
This mechanic doesn't have proper knowledge.. so let me clear that inlet tappet clearance should be 0.06mm and outlet tappet/exaust tappet setting should be 0.08mm not less than it... And in this video when the mechanic adjusted the timing chain for piston so chain should not be rotated both side...

There is some problem exhaust valve clearance should be .2mm more than inlet valve

Bro check gap between rubber pad on swing arm and chain near gear box side, it has nothing to do with engine. I faced same issue

What was the tappet clearance in mm for both inlet and exhaust ?
We can say about 1mm as you can see the measurement strip was very thin.
