    Had a similar issue with the mClassic attached to the Wii U. The picture quality was great, but the audio kept flickering in and out (I thought maybe the mClassic got damaged or something, but nope, not the case). So I went to TV Settings on the Wii U and switched the Audio-Output Type from Surround to Stereo, and that fixed the issue. Thanks for the help!

    Thank you so much for this video. An hour ago I wasn't getting any sound from the Mclassic and my Switch; thinking it broke or the firmware updated did something. I saw this video and realized that I accidentally changed the Sound setting on my TV; after fumbling with the TV remote and Netflix. This is the only info on the internet that resolved my issue. Thanks a million!

    My mClassic had been working with my Switch and Wii U just fine till tonight. When used with anything other than “Processing Off” I get no sound. It works just fine with my Xbox.
    My Switch settings under “TV Settings” is set to Stereo and still nothing.

    Doesn't work for me no matter what I've tried. Audio works directly connected to the Switch without the mClassic. I even tried an external power brick for the mClassic and still a no go. What a bummer because the picture quality looks great.

    I have mine set to Surround Sound and hooked to an mclassic and it works just fine. I wonder if its a tv codec issue.....I have all Sony TVs my 2 mclassics are both launch editions from kickstarter

      @@RoXolid it's weird because I use the mclassic with about 15 different systems with no issue. It's only the switch that's having this issue and it's even if I put it in pass through. Switch is set to stereo in TV settings.

      I would suggest reaching out to Marseille and seeing if they have any other suggestions. The lack of audio is one of the reasons why I stopped using it, but now that I got it working I just don't use it because I just don't use it.

    Hey. I initially had this issue a few months back and this video helped. However, after using the mclassic on my ps3 I just got back and then on my Switch; I'm having the no audio issue and this method doesn't work. Any idea what to do?

    • @RoXolid
      @RoXolid  4 года назад

      But if you connect with a straight HDMI you get sound?

    • @enriquepinero707
      @enriquepinero707 4 года назад

      @@RoXolid Yeah. I actually figured out the issue. I had the power supply from a different source than the TV (USB plug) and I guess it burned out when I plugged the PS3 into the same strip or something. When I plugged the power to the USB outlet on my TV; it worked again.

    Mine only works when plugged directly into the dock with the dock back open to fit, the hdmi extender that came with it won’t work with the upscaler, but without the upscaler the hdmi extender works with regular hdmi so it’s not defective. Any suggestions?
