  • In this videos share my thoughts on the new Ego HTX7500 commercial hedge trimmer with 75cm dual action hardened steel blades. The model we’re reviewing here is the longer 75cm cutting blade model which has plenty of power and cuts really well. Combined with the new BAX1500 backpack battery you’ll be hedging for days.

Hi Chris, boots are just standard work boots by a company called Oliver and the covers are boot protectors to stop all the grass going into your boots. Pretty common here in Australia mate 👍🏻 Cheers

How heavy is battery back pack ? I have the unit but with the regular battery pack! Nice mate!

9kgs which doesn’t sound too bad but it’s pretty heavy in use after a while, putting it on and taking it off gets tiresome quickly. It is a hefty battery though.

I would suggest more care go into audio mixing. There was some information at a modest volume followed by BLARING MUSIC, then some more information, this time barely audible because I had turned the music down, then more blaring music. Music in videos, especially instructional ones, is a pet peeve of mine; I fully admit that. But I don't think I'm alone. To me it's just distracting, and never necessary. Just my opinion.

hi mate, thanks for sharing your opinion, I’ll bear that in mind for future videos, although I’m only a gardener, just trying to share some information, not a professional sound engineer 😀 I was in two minds with this and my other videos about just putting out the information rather than fancy music etc. I’m the same as you and generally just prefer the content over the music. Thanks again mate 👍🏻
