MAKING DIVE WEIGHTS WITH SAND

PUTTING THE LEAD I FIND METAL DETECTING TO GOOD USE, AND TRIALING A NEW TECHNIQUE, CAN I MAKE DIVE WEIGHTS USING SAND AS A MOULD????

Use a sanding attachment for a drill. Then put your lead on a vice and sand each side a small amount till it's smooth.

probably plaster adhesive could be used to make the moulds .. in that way you can get smoother weights

Did you just use beach sand?
I'm going to try this method to do flat weights for my weight vest

Yep just wet it and away i went, worked perfectly with the metal pieces and not the foam,lol

Haha, i was thinking foam would work, then wood, but nailed.it with the steel pieces
