We've bought Chevy for almost 20 years but our next vehicle will be a Toyota. We're also downgrading from a compact SUV back to a sedan because honestly, there's more space in the Camry than our Chevy Trax. The Trax rides so hard, slams into every bump in the pavement. Trust me I wish I could afford a Mercedes for a smooth ride, but we're looking at the Camry. Toyotas can take a beating, and that's what we need where we live lol

Dependability, reliability ,and good resale values so yes it’ll be nice and also Hondas are great cars as well 👌

Im sorry but the trax is a piece of crap haha, you’d love the camry so much better.. rides almost as good or even better than an Audi Q7 with the adaptive air suspension! They really drive more like a lexus than a toyota
I have another car with paddle shifters, they are convenient. But I think the Camry basic setup is just as good for the times you use it. IMHO, this is for when you want to use gears descending a steep grade, certain snow conditions where you never speed up beyond a certain point, pushing the take-off beyond the economic shift-points for speed, etc. I like the feel of the stick better than paddles.
That' s a magnificent car that we can't get in Europe i like so much TRD features on this car thank's for reviews grettings from Belgium👍👍😎😎

2020 Camry XSE, 4000 miles, negativities are , the digital read out between tach and speedo washes out in bright sunlight, and the seats are a little to firm. other than those, mileage, transmission ect. and driver assist are great !

I thought only the xse comes with the dashboard screen that shows the speed like that because the regular se comes with a vertical dash screen about 7 inches and not as wide as the one you have on this SE, how do i get this one ?

I just went on the Toyota website and the BSM with options (only package available for the Nightshade) consists of the Blind Spot Monitoring and the Convenience Package, so it is available, just that the one in this video doesn’t have it
I like my low profile dash, that tablet, should be detachable!
The higher it is the less you have to look down and take your eyes off the road, the low center infotainment is actually dangerous

Got the 2020 model in February, nice car overall, could use some tweaks here and there, but them again, it is not a Lexus or a premium car.
I got it instead of a Mazda 6 or a used Lexus IS300h/GS300h/450h that in general I would've paid 5-6k less here in Europe than a brand new one.
Is there a big difference from the GS to the camry when it comes to road/wind noise and comfort?
Yeah 20s and 21s look pretty much the same but 21s have the latest safety fiture, 2.5+

A comfortable ride with a distracting tablet on the dash. Driver's cars like Porsche make them smaller and integrate it into the dash.

If you are a teenager as like 18-20 then I would say buy a cheap car that you can pay cash for. If you are a recent college Graduate and you started a new job. Then yes I would recommend getting a new Camry like this one. Or you can always save a lot of money by getting a two years old car for a lot cheaper that is still in great condition:)

I love the Camrys are good shape and best reliability. But Forget the 2.5 if there’s oil consumption and head gasket issues. I’m not a little 2.5 fan. I will get a 3.5 V6 are excellent performer sedan. Thank you for reviewing

How would you compare your driving experience with this 2021 Camry and the 2021 Corolla you reviewed recently?
They both felt very solid and both drove very well. The Camry felt little quiter on the highway and less road noise. But the Corolla I drove had bigger rims so there was more tire noise.
@@Iegend17 Thank you. Yes the Corolla rims look better but contribute to more noise. I was curious because Joe Raiti from Raiti's Rides youtube channel drove these 2 back to back and said the Corolla was more fun to drive and Corolla would be his pick.
@@braetonwilson4296 well it really depends what you drive cuz the Corolla I drove had sport tuned suspension. But this Camry is the se. the Corolla will be more fun to drive since it’s lights and small. Like I drove my friend’s civic Si and I love it cuz it was light and so fun. My accord is maybe three times faster since my accord is tuned. Si was fun to drive but very weak. My accord will destroy it. Less weight more fun :)

Ye the Hybrid and Primes have a lot faster acceleration. The Camry Hybrid powertrain, for example, doesn't have all the gear hunting and throttle lag that the 8 speed has haha.

Very Easy To Drive.
I don’t like the large screens in these newer cars. It looks like an IPad has been attached to the dash. I prefer the ones that blend into the dash like on my 2017 Hyundai Azera
They should make it portable, for use outside the car. I got a 19, and for a split sec, I was jealous. Then it got on my nerves...
I don’t mind them but they have to be skinny and look good. Too bulky isn’t good

Come on now! How in the hell is the GR Yaris out performing the Camry? The Yaris is getting more attention than the Corolla too. This is why people are trying to mod. The Camry' s HP and TQ should be much higher especially the TRD. The Avalon probably should be even more powerful. Toyota could have at least went 301/301. They don't want to compete with their other brand Lexus.

@@NawMan357 toyota has a starter stop feature if you will...iow you can just turn the key and immediately release it and the starter is still engaged and will disengage automatically when engine fires. likewise turning the key continually will do no harm...

First off, it still has the outline of where the vents used to be.
I have a 2020, I like my rims better than the 2022 model. For the money this is a very nice car.

@@ARUclipsChannelwithNoName Its a great car, It's spacious and I love the front storage compartment 😁 Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference. I have the 2018 model, the infotainment is kind of useless because it always needs an "update", maybe the newer models have improved. It drives real nice though, picks up when you have to, quiet inside, seats are comfortable and great on gas.
