thank you sir. very good explination. Do you know how or what close the shut up valve? I am working on my fathers accidentel C250 turbo diesel w202. and i get no fuel at the top off the injector, the steel 14 mm nut line> When try starting a lot off bubles are in the lines near the pump to the filter. The car is standing stil for 12 years now. My father stopt driving after he make with this car a accident with 30km/h or 18.5 miles/h in the back off another car. My father shout down the enging with the key secounds after the collision. Now we are trying to start it up again. Enging glows and crank but no start. II think its maybe the shut off valve not opening. I unscrew cilinder 1 the line and no drup comes out while starting. You have any idea? Kindley regards geert solie
Sorry for the delay in my response. I am an amateur mechanic so sorry to say I figure stuff out just as I go as you are doing. My guess is that by now you have it fixed. I'm not sure how the cut off defaults when faulty. I would try one of the Mercedes Forums on the net. After sitting 12 years you may have other considerations like sludge or even algae. Wish I could be more help.
@@capedoryus hello , yes with the help off an forum member we fix it. Now the engine running back like be fore. No sludge . We replace the plastiek tubes on the gasoline filter and 1 o ring in the pre filter. And in the pre filter the car takes the air. That was the reason it not wanted to start. Greetz
Sorry for the delay. I thought I had answered but alas I did in my mind only. I followed others advice and did two at a time. You will find the keepers for the injector nozzles are in pairs. If you do it this way you still have four lines pulling hard till it self bleeds. On the lines themselves I don't believe I had any problems as the hardliners and the injector pump was full of fuel. Good luck. Did not have any real issues other than the intake manifold bolt the threads from the bottom of the car. It was off by 2-3 mm once everything was in place. I had to not secure the IM on the top side so I could have play on the bottom to get the bolt started.
I have a OM 603 W124 300D Non Turbo. There is leak of diesel from the top of the fuel pressure line in the pump side. I have replaced all the copper O rings in the fuel pump. But there is leak from the top of the 5th line. Should I have to replace the line? Can you help me with the part number of the fuel line you had replaced?
Thank for watching I replaced the soft fuel return line and one hard line. The hard lines can crack if they are not supported, on the 0M606. Not sure on yours. If your order the return lines be sure it's the right diameter. I ordered from one supplier and it felt just fine going on but leaked. Here there are a few different diameters. The hard line I ordered I don't think would fit your engine. Not much info here, sorry. I found a Russian site that had the schematic drawing from MB. A few min on Google should produce the site. MB really has the schematics locked down. Good luck
@@capedoryus : You are right my line was not supported. Have ordered a new part from ECS Tuning. Will update after installation. Thank you for your support.
Thank you sir for "fuel flow N leaks" it made my life so much easier, just a perfect video!
Fantastic video, it’s been a great help as I have air leaks in my lines
Good luck. Note to self order a spare intake manifold gasket. Best feeling in the world is no diesel smell.
Why do I have air in my lines?
