Look a cracking bit of kit, endicotts have sold out of nearly all sizes, shame, just wait to see if they get em back in stock, thank you for the review, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig
Nice review looks like a great bit of kit. Just a suggestion, if you are going to state the size of the smock it is handy to state how tall you are otherwise there is no context to the fit 👍
I like the style of those, but I use my old British army wind proof. I've absolutely trashed it in the forces and it's still going strong, but I am going to try to get one of those Belgian ones that look less military. Not a fan of velcro I think Pop stud's are probably the way to go. Good review 👍.
I have found them on Amazon, they have different colours and some bigger sizes. Here is the link: www.amazon.co.uk/Military-Spec-Anorak-Smock-Olive/dp/B00BW5P3D6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3AE35JAZNTV97&dchild=1&keywords=army%2Bsmock%2Bfor%2Bmen&qid=1615490682&sprefix=army%2Bsmock%2Caps%2C157&sr=8-5&th=1
Per usual I missed out on getting Belgian-patt' Over-head Field Smock. Olive Green. XXL at Endicott's. A few years ago I did manage to pickup a beautiful Gen 2 Swedish Smock. I wrote Kevin and hopefully new stock will be in soon. Here is the USA good military surplus is hard to obtain. what sells for ms is usually after market items that meet specs, but anyone with a brain can tell it's junk
@@greencraft4783 I've had nothing yet mate that why I checked etsy and I got worried then when I said it still wasn't dispatched... Lost in the post most likely 🙄 thank you for posting another one, I'll let you know how it goes.
Good Morning .. Looks good 👍. Functional and cheap to boot. I'm in the market for a lightweight natural fibre outer jacket. I have a 70's? era Mil Surplus BW Nato Jacket with removable fleece Liner ('Jeans' brand label inside). A great jacket that has given me years of excellent service, but perhaps a wee bit too 'heavy', even sans liner, for pick up and take along during the warm months. If you have the info at hand (without too much trouble please), how does the cloth thickness / weave density between the two compare and in your opinion, would the difference warrant the the additional purchase? Obviously, living in Switzerland, the logistics (and cost) of getting the item here is a consideration. That said, I do have a contact in the UK as a possible Plan B. A good share .. thanks. Appreciate your Gear Reviews and Tips .. keep them coming please. Take care ..
Many thanks for this. A question on sizing - you have an XX and it looks spacious but not overly bag, if it is not a rude question, what size are you? Warm regards, Adrian
Well i think it wil not be for me. The smock is not my size. And to buy one and alter it and replace the velcro i could make one all by my self. I like the smock but it is the size thing and quality of the velcro. My arms are long but i'm 180cm 85kg so this is not going to work i'm afraid. Now i saw the tumbnail of your video of the wool bushgraft smock. i'm gonna watch that one now :D
I wish somebody would make an arctic windproof in something apart from DPM or any camo.Four baggy pockets, adjustable hood,no epaulets, waterproofable.Camo is not a good look hiking.
Cotton absorbs water.
velcro freezes shut & attracts dirt.
- Replace velcro with zips or rivets.
- waterproof the Cotton.
Looks cosy.
That's why I prefer polycotton , it dries quicker, and I recommended proofing. Press studs isn't a bad shout tho. Thanks

Looks good 👍
Yep, got one, like it! Keep up the good work!
I've got a couplr of these that I bought online (Ebay). Same price and various colours available.
Good videos by the way.
A good review, but no mention of how the smock copes with rainy weather.

Velcro all over this item. It's noisy and loses effectiveness over time. I don't ejnoy spending time micro-cleaning velcro.
XXS ans XS in stock, all other sizes are out of stock. Checked same day the video came out.
Good video but out of stock on the XL. I will be looking back often to see if this one comes out. As always your information is top notch.

HI Neil.
Nice.
Quick question.
How do they hold up against thorns and rough undergrowth as I’m looking for something like that for work.
Thanks.
Lovely review. Please can you explain how it comes with rain? Do you put a goretex shell over it?
Thanks.

I am 5'9" and 42-44 chest. Hope it helps buddy
@@greencraft4783 Very helpful, I am the same height but being older and more wizened, only 39” chest. Looks like an XL for me. Thank you.
Can you recommend anything very similar, I can't find one anywhere
Follow the amazon link I put up, they have them and so do the others that folks have posted.
@@greencraft4783 they haven't got any at the mo according to them
I would love one but struggle to get them on and off my head 🤣
I struggle to lift my arms, not that I have a fat head. 😂🤣

Out of stock! 😂😂😂
Though cheap, It could be more comfortable with two zippers on either side if it gets warm.
And you look pregnant with your full bags.😀😀
If you want something with zippers try a Helikon-Tex Woodsman Anorak. Cost £70.

Try the Arktis B110 smock, same pattern as the s95 smock and in a variety of colours or camo, mad3 in Exeter.
