warframe laetum crit vs noncrit

each version is good in its own enviroment
non-crit laetum: offers much bigger status chance, allowing to reduce enemy resistances without need of primer. This by itself isnt enough to compete with higher damage of crit laetum in most cases, but when you also get secondary merciless stacks, you have much higher damage vs normal enemies.
crit laetum: is stronger when you dont need to apply as much status effects and against enemies with immunity/resistance to status effects.
It has higher base damage and is not relliant on arcane stacks, making it much better weapon against bosses. On top of that, you can use primer, making crit laetum much stronger against single target.
Conclusion: Crit does more damage, but has limited access to priming which migh be crucial on steel path.
Noncrit does much less damage to certain enemies.
Try both, i landed on crit since the main source of its damage is not easily countered by immunities and inconsistency of secondary merciless.

Intresting to see, ig crit is better without merciless in comparison but worse with merciless cuz the +1200% dmg buff from incarnon is diminishing with merciless and the +2000% from incarnon with non crit build is a final multiplier

For bodyshots, aoe and enemies with damage attenuation(or whatever it was called) noncrit is better while crit is better for single target dps if you aim for headshots(which leads to switching targets faster thus dealing with groups faster, but idk).

Cuz there are very few enemies that can stand a decent amout of time beeing shot by a Laetum to compare things easily i imagine :)
