Thank you, mate. I really appreciate that. As for picking up where I left off, I'm not sure that I'd regard that as a 'legitimate finish'. A lot of people have suggest that but it just wouldn't provide the same sense of accomplishment for me. I'm really good with covering 800+ kms. Like you said, it's a major accomplishment in it's own right. If I had initially set out to do just that, I would regard my walk as a significant life achievement. Thank you again for your positive comments...all along the way.
As they say, don't push your luck, pun intended, health over wealth. Your legs has many more years to go. You have done well. Something new will come out of this.
