As a kid, I was traumatized by this fight. I was 12 or 13 and had this idea in my head that Mike Tyson was invincible. Buster Douglas was going to just be another shlub on his record. Even after the fight I was hoping for some kind (any kind) of ruling that would give Tyson back his title. Even with Tyson's latest comebacks from ten years ago I bought into the hype.
