So happy to see my favorite band on the channel. While not their common sound it's still a really solid song. Hope to see more of Nothing More in the future!
These guys have one of the few songs that makes me weep. “God went North” true story song of his mother dying. The song you listened too was probably one of their most processed songs, so try some of the others. “Spirits” is one of their new ones that’s really good.
Fair to Midland is my absolute favorite, & you're right about the similarity in style & the little manual vibrato thing...Darroh was the first singer I saw doing that, & still the best. Reminds me how sad it is that so few reaction channels feature them at all...I feel like the time may be right for a re-emergence for them, if could a few of the right reactors got hold of their stuff. DH, I'm sure you've already heard plenty of FTM, given your quick flash to them, immediately. And yes, the album version of this song hits harder, believe it or not. I don't like all of their stuff, but this song & a few others are really well-put together.
It wouldn't surprise me if Fair to Midland did influence them, they're fellow Texans. I definitely think you need to take a look at Go To War or Jenny acoustic versions.
So happy you have reacted to Nothing More, definitely one of my favourite bands man All their albums are great but their latest is my favourite album of 2022! "Spirits" is the title track and is now my personal favourite track from them, they have so much creativity and textures to their sound, and although I am waiting patiently to see if they will play live in the UK, the energy particularly Jonny the lead singer puts in on stage is phenomenal, he spins round like a loon whilst singing many times haha. Also to get the exact sound they want, the band have created their very own instrument called "the Scorpion tail"" Which Jonny climbs aboard and literally rides it as he plays! "Jenny' is another great track as is "Turn it up like" and "Tired of winning ( ships in the night)" There is not a tonne of live performances out there tbh, so would agree that studio versions would be a great starting point if you wanna check out more initially! Love your channel David you do an awesome job You are most likely correct in their influence from fair to midland as they hail from Texas also
Hey David have you heard of a band called airborne. They sang a song video of them in a Simi truck of running wild I don't know if that was limmy was driving that Simi truck.
That is freakin awesome David!! The only time I've seen anyone mess with their vocal sound is Chris Cornell in Audioslave Show Me How To Live at the ending. WOW!! Powerful vocals WOW!! Thank You for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️
I have heard some of Nothing More songs previously... But they were not as impressive as this one. Thanks for the suggestion to D to listen to this, because it really opens the group from the best side and now I am sure will be much more optimistic and positive their music.
Ugh... I've come to hate SiriusXM live sessions. The official video for this is ***SO*** much better. They have a lot of other great tracks, as well. This one is a little older, but still great.
@@jherriff clearly it's subjective, and I was just expressing my subjective opinion. There is obviously an audience for these kinds of sessions or they would stop doing it - they're just not my thing.
Yeah you definitely have to react to songs off their studio albums! Anything off their self-titled album or their newest one Spirits would be cool! To name a few Mr.MTV, Jenny, Here's To The Heartache, Turn It Up Like, Spirits.
You REALLY need to hear the album version of this song.
Please do
This isn’t a fair introduction to this band. The actual song is way better. Please do an actual album version of one of their songs.
YES PLEASE!!!! React to the original song. It is one of my all time fav songs.
Yes, this is interesting, but not nearly as good as the album version.
Got to see them in Philly ! Can we just say wow!!! I mean I’ve gone to some good shows, but the energy… was just 🔥
Acoustic version lets you hear the musicality really well, but the official video will let you feel the energy and get all of the buzz of the song.
So happy to see my favorite band on the channel.

Hope to see more of Nothing More in the future!
He's just imitating vibrato with his fingers
more of nothing more!! their newest album Spirits is so exciting and innovative
Didn't expect so much fair to midland praise but fuck i welcome it. I miss those guys.
Very good

The second vocalist used to be the main vocalist.
Yes they are very similar to Fair to Midland ! But nothing more is really good as well!
Oh and both bands are from Texas as well.
Hey David! Gotta check out Fade In Fade Out and Jenny. Amazing band

People are sleeping on this band they got a lot of well written songs
Well I never heard of Fair to Midland, just went and listened to "Dance Of The Manatee", oh yeah, they have some similarities no doubt.
So happy you have reacted to Nothing More, definitely one of my favourite bands man

I think that's really subjective. Personally I find the live performance more impressive.

Gotta check out way more of this band, this isn’t a great live to start out on.
