I like to think Arry and Bert (TV series canon) are just a figment of Stepney's imagination, Splatter and Dodge (now named Harry and Bert) are the Ironworks twins

Why did arry and Bert got splatter and Dodge faces

During Thomas and The Magic railroad, Splatter and dodge were created by reskinning Arry and Bert. After season 6, they were returned as Arry and Bert. My guess is that when Hornby saw Arry and Bert were reused as Splatter and Dodge for the movie, the faces must have been added by error.
