More than likely at least for a while @anda1anda2 will be newest. I wrote a lot , but in my opinion it deserves a greater discussion by NCL. BTW I did like the solo cabin, though unlike your comment about the bed size, as about 6 inches (?) of the bed ends up under the padded wall surrounding the tv screen which serves as a view from some camera on the side of the ship.... yes I did enjoy other things, especially the Observation Lounge, The Choir of Man, having choices for included restaurants for different atmospheres!
19:03… Royal Caribbean has a repositioning cruise that leaves from Los Angeles every year in the middle of September, usually on a quantum class ship, for a 16 night transpacific that gives you three days in Japan, after 11 or 12 days at see, and it’s surprisingly affordable… We are doing this in fall of 2026 for my wife’s 60th birthday

We have sailed on NCL four times always enjoyed the ships and cruises. We would really like to cruise Japan on of these days but it is a long flight from the US.

We were on the NCL Spirit in September 2023, Vancouver to Oahu via the Inside Passage, with 5 nights crossing the North Pacific Ocean, and visiting the islands of Kauai, Hawaii, Maui, and Oahu. 16 days total. Great cruise and we certainly liked the ship. It was very stable crossing the open ocean.

Quick question for you/any of the followers: I'm on my first NCL Encore on my first Transatlantic, Solo Balcony cabin. One thing I keep seeing is a plastic foldable shoe organiser to hang with magnetic hooks on my bathroom door, storing shoes and all small day to day stuff .... Good idea?
I’ve never ever needed anything like that and I have 0 idea what I’d fill it with 😂❤ If you don’t use something like that at home, doubt you’d need it. Especially solo!
Quick Question: How do you get ship announcements in the rooms? I couldn't figure it out and on port days, I would be opening my room doora touch, with me partially dressed, standing behind the door, to ensure that I didn't miss anything important.
Usually if you go on a certain channel on the TV they'll come out of there, the bridge camera or another one. They do the most important announcements into all cabins so don't worry you'll miss those. :)

Darn!!! For once you are in our time zone and I missed it! We spent 2 weeks in Japan in August and it was hot hot hot.
Worst time to visit Japan is August especially if one stays in a city with intensive urban development like Tokyo.🥵
