Have you ever used cotton yarn to fill the channels? That foam can be very fragile and easily messed up for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience. Yarn can be pressed into place with no adhesive and I don't think that it will eventually rot as the foam does.

Thanks for this awesome instructional video! I just ordered four sets of light seals for different SLR’s that I have, and while I’m working less and stuck indoors right now, I’m finally gonna tackle the lights seals in some of my cameras!

Ver helpful video. What's the best thickness to use for this adhesive foam. Got a Canonet QL17 GIII and needs seals replacements and some cleaning. This video and the one in which you clean the QL17 lens are giving me the courage to renew the camera myself

Thank you for posting these amazing tutorials. This e act camera was left to me after my father passed away and now following your video I was able to fix the stuck shutter. However in the process the light meters card came off the lens. I was able to slide it back in the slot but it’s not engaging, when move the iso slider the card doesn’t move. Any advice on how make it engage the iso tab?
    Thanks

Great video, thanks! What thickness is the material you use, and how ‘springy’ is it? Do you no longer sell it in your own shop?

Do you still sell the kits? I don't see them at any of your stores.

I use ordinary lacquer thinner, it is cheap, easy to find, and works very well.
