Unrelated question to the plugin: what song is used in the video?

you neglect to state HOW you let the plugin 'learn' the audio signal....that might've been helpful.

To let the plug-in learn, simply start the audio playback and click the record icon at the top of the plug-in (next to the genre profile dropdown). After a couple of seconds, the plug-in will automatically suggest limiting parameters for your track.

Is there a way to make it listen to more of the track as opposed to just a few seconds? If not, what part do u suggest I make it listen to, the loudest part? Thx

Hi Hans, that's exactly what we would recommend: Go for the loudest part and let smart:limit learn from it.

Is "smart:limit" placed on the MASTER or on separate tracks?

(This is a coped reply from another thread)
Although smart:limit is designed to be used on whole mixes, you can also use it for individual tracks / instruments. Just keep in mind that you will most likely have to tweak the automatically set parameters if working on single tracks (since the AI assumes mixes as the input material). The limiter itself works flawlessly on any material - so in this case the learning basically only unlocks the sound shaping tools.

I thought this would be better since it's AI, but this does not handle my guitars well even after loading ai, and using a reference track the auto adjustments are far too loud... perhaps i am not yet use to this software, but granted that there isn't many options and it's ai i expected better results. So far only fast balance has impressed me
