Hello Blake Thank you for the very explanatory video. New subscriber here. I have 2 more questions: 1 Did the steering become much heavier? 2 How much is the added weight of all the components for the bumpsteer correction? Thanks in advance + bonus question: What will you use to stop the wheel from turning too far?
I mean if you have a base model E46 and say you lower it slightly and upgrade that lower control arms and suspension components to M3 if it's all M3 stuff including the lower control arms do you really need a steering correction since it's a matching set
Has the steering feel and ride been more harsh on the street without the rubber bushings\ball joints? This is the only downside I can think of for this conversion. Great video!
so good of a setup! my bimmerworld front control arm will do for now. want that adjustable FCAB. I could use a little more caster. but not too much like what i used to have that it's ruining my front tires from rubbing so much.
I still can’t believe how far this car has come. It was trash before and then you brought it back to life. Cool to see the detailing videos!
Thanks babe! Yeah it’s actually a nice ride now 👍🏼🏁🏁
Ma hai fatto il video dove racconti le tue impressioni guidando con il kit mrt ?
15:11 I would’ve put some lithium grease on there before securing
How is quality of the uniballs?

It’s the best mod for steering feel on these cars so I’d highly recommend it.
Do I need to buy all those parts to correct my bump steer ?
doesn't this also increase steering angle or did you say it already😅
I will yes

It makes noise but I don't mind it for the performance trade off.

Yeah, I want you to drive it to see what ya think.
@@BlakesGarage yea man would love to!
Thanks for the video man. This helped me understand these components a bit better. 🙏🏻
Glad I could help. If you end up doing this you will absolutely love it. It’s one of the hugest changes that makes it really feel like a sports car.
Do you have follow up vid on this?
What do you want to know?
@@BlakesGarage you using it for autocross/track? You notice anything different in handling?
@@shortroundChris yeah it's the absolute best thing you can do to any BMW turning ratio is such quicker. Sharper turn in absolutely amazing a must do.
@@shortroundChris If you search on my channel I have some autocross review type videos on my E40 when I did it on that car
Do you know if thier outter tie rods work with e46 control arm conversions? (So I can use the stock tie rod mount on the knuckle)
Hello , how do they last in time with , the ball joints and everything without some kind of rubber protection , after one year and daily use ? 🫡🫡🤝
No issues at all I’ve been failing it and everything feels great still
Is this a must for any lower then stock?
I think so. I love how it quickens the steering ratio and it’s an absolute must in my opinion.
Bmw e36 inner with e34 outters .. or e92 inner shortend with e36 outters shortend try that for low budget ppl
can you explain me exactly what you mean by inner and outer please? Very interested.
