Hi Pete, No worries, I am further behind. Just got back from the home country and a lot of extra hours at work to make that overdue visit happen. That’s a lot music to digest! The only band I have in my shelf of the large batch is Drekka. I have one album on Dawson's recommendation. Glad you liked the CDs! Take care, Richard

Hi Richard, I hope you had a good time back in Norway. And I hope you picked up tons of Norwegian prog and fusion while you were there! Have to admit the Drekka album was one That didn't do it for me. Hope we'll see a video from you soon. Cheers... Pete

@soundsfromthewestcoast9939 Thanks. I should do a video soon. There is not much for Record shops in my hometown, but Apollon has a small stor and a bar there and I ended up with a few.

A fine bunch of esoteric discs from the great Dave B. Must get hold of that mythos issue of Occult Detective...
I saw Richard show Filibuster Saloon and thought they sounded appealing (especially when he mentioned the Canterbury word.)
Hope summer is working out well with you, despite the weather. 😂

Hi John, I was very grateful to Dave for sending me these CDs - particularly looking forward to the Folklore of the Moon set.
I think you'd probably enjoy the Filibuster saloon CD as you enjoy the whole Canterbury scene.
Been an eventful couple of weeks, but no summer really to speak of! Take care... Pete

Hi Pete. That set of 3" CDs is rather nice. It goes without saying that I've heard of none of the bands and artists.
When I was a kid I was fascinated by the paranormal, UFOs and the unexplained. Unfortunately over the years I've seen an increasing connection between those who are interested in the unexplained and the more insideous world of conspiracy theories. It's not fun any more. I should probably stay away from social media.
    Cheers - Hedley

Hi Hedley, those 3" CDs are enticing - I've just ordered an adaptor so I can play them. The acts are all pretty obscure.
I'm the same as you with regard to all things unexplained. I used to subscribe to Fortean Times and loved their approach to such topics. But as you state the whole world of conspiracy theories that is around now is a particularly disturbing and potentially dangerous environment which I try and keep clear of (though it does seem to be becoming more a part of mainstream culture sadly). I do still enjoy picking up the odd copy of FT sometimes though.
      Cheers... Pete
