The system has no idea what cars its measuring, it only has weight, grip, center of mass, earodynamics, power, mass momentum, moment of inertia etc. For all its worth Alex is driving a 2003 clio with a huge wing and tyres on it. I know your point, but the Chiron test drive videos always remark on their nimbleness and handling. People think they're a big car, but they around the same size as a 911, just heavy.
@@swordmonkey6635 And "weight is the enemy of performance" is something I heard somewhere. Yeah I know it's a big step up in handling from the Veyron, but still compared to other hypercars it's a boat. That's why I think the Chiron is like in a category of its own, like a "hyper grand tourer", it's not really comparable to anything else. It's way way more luxurious than a Koenigsegg Agera RS or Jesko, but the Koenigseggs will slaughter it in both acceleration and cornering.
@@warkus123 The weight is there to keep it on the ground. If "weight is the enemy of performance" then aerodynamic downforce wouldn't exist on high performance cars. Downforce causing hundreds of pounds of extra weight as the car accelerates is required to keep them on the ground. @@swordmonkey6635 You trying to tell me that adding 500kg to my car is gonna make it turn better? There's a reason why people do weight reduction in race cars and not pour concrete in them... The more mass you have, the more momentum you also have that's trying to keep moving straight forward when you turn the steering wheel. That's why a Chiron needs super wide tires, while a 600kg Caterham can take a corner at the same speed with 215-225mm wide tires, because it has less than 1/3 of the weight to change the direction of momentum on... I don't think they need to fix this. They don't seem OP. The grip is pretty balanced by the super low top end, and the regular B-class cars seem to make quick work of most of the hyper cars
honestly I don't really think this will, or should, get patched. The amount of work and care you have to put into de-turboing these hypercars models how it would be irl, and irl seeing a de-turboed Bugatti or Lamborghini would be so interesting to see on a track against more sensible cars of the same speed--like you were saying about making the Focus RS a base model Focus, this is something only people like me have wondered, and now we can do it! As the last race you did proved, these cars aren't overpowered, they're just VERY track-specific. I think a series with a single-car qualifying session could be very interesting and intriguing in Forza Motorsport Online if they decide to make this a legitimate feature
It’s goofy, it’s fun and it doesn’t break the game in no way. The last time this was a thing was fm4 I believe and it’s usually regarded as the best in the series. I’m hoping it’s just an extension of things you can play around with. This beats having trucks and limos any day
@@michaelnight9162 As Alex/Failrace has shown, true hypercar racing in video games often has the field spread out and uninteresting (ignoring GTA custom races). This bug/feature lets you see interesting racing with hypercars that don't normally create interesting racing.
I genuinely hope to hell that this isn't fixed. Is it remotely balanced and intended? Absolutely not. But it is really, really fun, and that's sometimes more important. TBH, I think they should allow you to remove aspiration from cars, much like NFS Heat did.
Or just add a limiter like they have in basically every single racing game except forza. Wether it’s through a restrict or plate or an ecu it needs to be percentage based.
@@FearlessLeader2001 im fine with both. just saying a percentage based limiter would be a good addition also, and would solve the need if they chose not to make removing forced induction an option
If they do fix this, maybe they can also fix the upgrade system so people don't have to live out of their cars like a homeless person to get access to the upgrades they want.
Can you make a video on how you did that? I really like the race. Some of those cars in the lower classes though I've tried. I can't get AA or B class. And I level them up to 50. I've done the engine swap thing. I must be doing something wrong apparently.

You'll see once you go there your power will drop
It's not game breaking and I'm going to be heavily disappointed if these youtube videos force them to remove this ability! I love A Class and the variety of cars avaliable now! It's not broken its a beautiful feature!
How were u able to make these modifications exactly? Restrictor plates, certain engine swaps? I imagine adding ballast could be part of it, but i really doubt it would bump these down to B, let alone do anything to actually reduce power output
The main thing is to have an engine swap that has an aspiration convertion (like 6.2 V8). Swap to that engine and select it. Then check that the aspiration conversion is on "naturally aspirated". Then quickly swap to an engine that has a turbo (can be a stock engine or a turbo rally swap) and if you're quick enough you should have the "aspiration conversion" option there too. Select aspiration conversion, don't move the cursor and press A. This will remove the turbo from an engine, even when this is not an option - for example the Turbo Rally I4 swap.
There are also just a very select few cars that get very low horse power motor swaps, and combined with aero and ballast usually drop down to mid B to high B class, I’ve only found 2 that do it
