Tourneys are dominated by Pika decks that hard counter this deck, you will rarely see a water deck topping a tourney and the fact that she even won the whole thing says alot about her as a player, i know a bunch of players who top tourneys and none ever plan to bring water cuz they know they'll most likely just be Pika food, so yeah no need to sht on her deck choice when she went against all odds & won.
First video of yours I've watched and wow. Your eyes are so blue. Not sure if it's the lighting due to like the time of day or what, but yeah. Also, I've opened so many Mewtwo packs and still can't get my second Articuno. After WPing my 2nd Mewtwo and Venusaur, I decided to hop over to Charizard, so I might end up having to craft an Articuno or something. Not sure. I do really like this deck though.
Hey ursi, love your tournaments. I am enjoying this deck with a v good winrate, but with 2 starmie ex + 2 set of mienshaos + 1 articuno ex. It does so much better when dealing vs pikachu ex. I know mewtwo is kinda everywhere now, but starmie ex's pressure generally do well against it to cover up for the mienshao's weakness. Hope you give it a shot!
If a deck requires coinflips... Its not consistent or a good deck. It works cause there is so few cards out atm and energy ramp for many decks doesnt exist yet. This is a deck that you can tell from your first hand if you brick or not.
The thing is that Starmie ex is so ridiculous that you can get away with terrible Misty luck as long as you get Starmie ex early. Starmie ex is insanely powerful atm. At least with Pika ex you need a full bench to do the same damage
@@Kayze330 Correct STARMIE is consistent as it's cheap and easy to pull from the deck. Throwing Articuno in is just wasting space and relying on misty to ramp it is pointless. You could full dive into a starmie water deck just fine and lower the risk of a bad hand that requires misty to pull it off. Plus Starmie goes crazy because it's retreat cost is also 0.
@Naonical competitively speaking though I think any water deck needs to run Misty since it's just that powerful, and Arti ex is just the best partner for it + pairs well with Starmie ex. Yes getting tails sucks, but even 1 heads can single-handedly win games that normally be much more difficult/impossible to win, let alone if you get 2, 3, or more heads.
Considering pokemon pocket hasn't hosted a tournament I'd say you didn't win a tournament. You beat some friends/streamers is all you did lol. Congrats though.

Guide: Go second, play misty, win in 1 turn or cry and maybe win in 3 or 4 turns.
Actually if you're playing Misty and live in dream world, going first works too.

Lapras ex isn't good so it's better to not run it. If you don't have Arti ex then it's an okay replacement tho
