Lufthansa is very solid, you always know what to expect and what you get. You never get disappointed although you never get hyped on board except you fly on their 747-8s:) The crew is also one of the most professional in the sky. I really like Lufthansa.
You’re right Leon. And it’s hard to be consistent for thousands of employees, so Lufthansa does it well. The B747-8 was all I could think off! And now also looking forward to the A340-600! Thanks for watching
Cracking report what great quality. Lufthansa meals look very mediocre these days, almost all the trip reports I have seen with them serve pasta. I am flying with BA to Dubai in a few weeks it will be interesting to see how their service is now things are returning to normal. Thanks for sharing
Hey Andy! Thanks a lot for the comment and glad you enjoyed it. A new one is currently being uploaded. I really can’t complain about the meal, as I’m glad there is one. I’ve been actively flying throughout the pandemic (for work) and seen much worse or nothing at all in some airlines. So something returning is a good sign. Hopefully services return to the way they were. Let me know how your flight with BA is. Flying on the A350K? I would love to fly theirs. Regards from Dubai!
In 2012, we flew Lufthansa from JFK to DXB via FRA. Our JFK-FRA aircraft was an old 747 with no individual(personal) TV. Yes, it was a night flight and most of us slept throughout the journey but my daughter (who was 12 years old at that time) was totally disappointed due to the lack of personal TV screen. She told me not to patronize Lufthansa in future. Of course the airline has come a long way since this with the introduction of A350 etc but that experience was a bit odd. Must admit that the cabin service was good.
And just to think that when we were young no airline had TV or WiFi at all! And we would fly long haul with a window and some imagination and still love it. Kids became so used to this luxury. Thanks for sharing your story. The Lufthansa B747-400’s seem to be coming back, they do have TV’s now though!
@@joshuadala3508 We were rather surprised to see that the aircraft was not fitted with individual IFE. I would think that on that particular day in 2012, they might have operated their old 747-400 variants. But it hardly mattered to myself & my wife (at leas) since we promptly went off to sleep after take off and woke up only when the aircraft about to touch down in FRA. But our 12 year (at that time) daughter was not so charitable towards Lufthansa. Strangely we have not travelled with Lufthansa after that flight (though no fault of the airline).
There is an advantage of louder back area if you are trying to sleep. The noise of the aircraft muffles the sound of any crying babies, if there are any. Babies are usually at the front anyway. I find the aircraft "white noise" to be soothing and calming.
Regarding the pushback, they have to pull the aircraft a bit forward to maintain a safe distance from the terminal, other aircrafts and ground-service equipments for the startup
I’m intrigued to know the door mode commands on Air France. In Air India we used to go by Automatic and Manual on the A310 and B747. That got switched to Armed and Disarmed on the 777 and 787.
Thanks for watching, Neville! I’ll make sure to record it once I fly with Air France. It is quite a different procedure to all other airlines I’ve flown with. If all goes well, I could find myself on an Air France plane next week.
Indeed best flight trip reports ever....excellent footage, recording quality Was just wondering how are you able to get all those idle airplanes destinations, is there any application ?
Thank you so much Rani, what a compliment. So, I use Flightradar24 for pretty much everything. For the idle planes I write down the registration and check afterwards where they flew. More reports coming! have a nice one
20:01, Yeah the camera shake a little bit when the landing gear is lowered and it's loud. Airbus A330-200 and 300 variant landing gear is loud and it's cool.
going to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on 30 of july from Frankfurt (Germany) with lufthansa, im going with the a330-300 and im very excited how it will go, i will probably edit this and tell how i went
Great video…. Duly subscribed. One request- can the comments/commentary stay on slightly longer. On occasions trying to watch video and read all comments can feel slightly rushed.
Flew LH for the first time from London-Frankfurt; Frankfurt-Dubai -- they failed to load my luggage onto the second leg of the trip. I've since been told my luggage is now in DXB but I'm yet to receive any confirmation of my bags being delivered. Pretty disappointing experience.

Hi layover. Thanks for awesome videos U spoke in the video about ek to flights from dubai to israel. I saw in the news that ek going to start flights to dubai from israel starting from 6.12.could you do a flight review on that flight. Thanks alot for your videos again
Shalom Shlomo! Thanks so much for your comment. I just saw the news, how great! I’ll try to get my booster vaccine shot, as it is a requirement in Israel and then hope to get a day off on the 06/12 so I can fly there. We’ll see. Thank you for watching and see you around ;)

Hope you get to fly a long flight soon!!

Such a great trip report. Pony Lala is back in the business hahahahhahahah
4:35, Me too, I prefer to seat further behind the wing for the best view and see the tail and rudder when the pilot are testing the control.
Much awaited 😍
Then I have another surprise heading your way very shortly!
Thanks for watching Subin!
I flew the same plane DAIKR from Kuwait to Frankfurt on the 21st July. I sat in the extra legroom seat near 25. Interesting we went on the same plane.

I fully agree with you! I prefer the back over the front anytime. View and noise wise. Now service wise is a different topic 😆.

Not CDG-DXB as it’s a full night flight, from take off to landing. Quite boring..
