The ktm sounds like the obvious option to me. Once suspension is setup for your liking it will be sweet. The more you train on it the more you'll trust it too 😁
That's the air fork you're not trusting, spring conversion or cones will help that a lot.
You would think that and I had the exact same thoughts but I had spring conversions and cone valves in 2021 and still just never found that last bit of confidence I was looking for.
would be sweat to see you on the 23 yz450 that would be sick
I have rode one and it was good! I have a shootout planned for next week with all the bikes 🤙🏼
I 1000% agree
God bless you all the time 🙏
You come again in the 🇵🇭
Thankyou
You ever try a hybrid fork on your ktms? I have a coppersmith setup and it's incredible and super cheap. Ohlins spring fork on one side, air spring on the other, super tunable and still that light steering feel
I am wondering how that compare to WP 6500 cartridges
Should have tested a 23 honda as they’ve made some changes. I just picked on up and it’s awesome
We didn’t have one at the time but I agree the changes were definitely for the better now I’ve got mine as well!
@@JoelEvans right on man. Looking forward to watching your new video when i get home
You look better on the Honda i would say…at least on video:)
Think the kx450sr would be a good comparison as well. Love mine an it has the corner feeling you ask for
I just did a 450 shootout with the KX, CRF, YZ, FC and SX 👍 Video will be out next week.
the problem on 23 frame is everybody are faster on 350 than 450 because this frame is not right balance better wait 25
I was thinking the same
Yamaha. Good power, great stock suspension, super reliable. Havn't ridden a 23 but once you learn to steer with the rear wheel they are really fun to ride.
All dirybikes are realiabele
What about the new drz400? Once you have finished racing, u can ride it to the supermarket and get some watermelon 🍉. Food for thought
I like HONDA 👍👍
Ktm if you want the best of the best but you can’t go wrong with Honda but they will beat you up on the longer motos faster than the orange bikes. I’d go KDM. Traction control on slippery shit and you’ll be fine.
Who is better dirty bike yamaha yz450f or crf450r
Stock ktm shock is better than your tuned Honda shock?
So since testing out a few different bikes and thinking about it a bit more, it actually has less to do with the shock and way more do it with the Chassis. But yes the stock KTM gives a much better feeling through the shock then my Honda because of the Chassis differences.
Your thoughts or your tuners thoughts? It needs to be better for you to get the results you deserve.
Time is ticking....
No
Can you try the new YZ450?
I have a shootout with Brisbane Motorcycles planned 😁
@@JoelEvans excellent, I just keep hearing so many good things about it would definitely be worth trying
Were you saying you should ride he ktm like a 2 stroke and roll the corners more.
Or even be super different 300sx mighty 2 banger with a button heard there pretty good
r ktms 00-08' frames as reliable & durable as hondas same year
I would stick with the Honda for 1 more year just coz with the new model bikes of ktm might be some faults with it still and aftermarket stuff might be a bit harder and costly to get atm with trying to get it setup for yourself.
As with the Honda you’ve already got a good base line and know how to deal with its small problems
Long lasting HOnda❤
HONDA
Ktm
KTM - I have a new honda 2023, worst bike I've had in 20 years, completely unbalanced, unusable if you don't have a suspension always on the track
no need to test ride, KTM introduced cheap Kymko into their bikes, at least the 2 stroke, which should be a message to all not to buy KTM at all
How menny times have we seen the Honda shit it's self in your past they are just not durable and need to many mods to get them up to speed. As for the gayTM you might wana look into there motor issues as they have changed the outsourced manufacturing process on crank and rod assembly. Also parts availability is only going to get worse with shipping out of the EU and unless your budget is had a boost to the moon you don't get value overall running a practice and a race bike. The Kawasaki or Yamaha is the only two bikes with any reasonable arguments for the base starting points. In saying that I've just had two flat as get there New yzfs and they have been blown away by the change in 23 considering how strong the 22s proven durability and preforming was. If you can go blue you should make the change becouse after 10hrs your adjusted to the centralization feel and it suets your forward rideing style. Blues4boys
KTM 350.
🤔🤔
Can’t race a 350 for pros mate
Why can't u race a 350? Faster lap times less taxing on the body?
@@benpearce6732 Yes you can. You can't race a 350 in a 250 obviously but you can race it in a 450 class
@@Runk3lsmcdougal yeah but what’s the point of that
