Happy birthday Andy! Nice catches. I was gonna catch CSX M652 or B460, but meh, I passed on the both of them. IDK if you heard this, but M653-02 had the Seaboard Coastline heritage unit trailing. Unfortunately, it would end up running at night. Was I gonna let that go? No way! So I legit stayed up, keeping an ear open for it. Then at 2:58 AM, the time came when it got a job briefing & EC1! I was out until after 4 AM, & that was totally worth it! Especially with the horn show I got.
Well, that’s is it. They do have a flat spot in the steel wheel. Thuu it s can be caused by sticking brake or anything that may stop the wheel from turning while the train is moving. They can get so bad the break the rail!!
Kyle, I may be wrong on this, but I think that E train loads around Peach Creek, Wv when the have product. I’ve been close to you on rail one time. We were called out of Russell, Ky on an experimental “pool” from Russell to Kingsport. That was the longest trip ever for me. Dispatcher kept us moving, but max speed most of way didn’t reach 40mph. Pretty country in late September. First time I met Shoestring! Funny guy! Missed by is throttle jockeys. Still don’t seem real. Find myself still “watching” for him!
