  • Watch as I take the new guy through a step by step process on how to layout and cut a simple rafter! In order to frame this little 3/12 shed roof, we figured out our correct wall height and how to find a rafter length without a calculator. Thanks for watching and I'll see ya next time!

I have got to find someone like you to come work with me man. We could sit for hours talking about framing and hand cut roofs. I know you’re having the best time explaining these details to this man. Sharing knowledge with someone who cares is priceless.

Great video, happy to see people teach like this and don’t get impatient. This is how you get more people in the trades, not by being an asshole and running them away lol

Awesome to see the content again man, missed your videos. They give me the motivation in framing again lol been in it just over a year now and the boys at work are getting me to a point where I can build a roof myself. We’re all pre made trusses here, but this kinda info and demonstration helps a bunch for framing in the roof with hips and valleys and such. Makes me wanna take on more watching you guys do it the way you do. You make it look easy lol. Awesome video man hope to see more soon 💯

When I ask my boss how to do all this I get a okay demonstration and then when I go to do it he tells me “get out the way you’re going to slow” so I’ve never really officially learned any of this

Lots of info for the new guy to learn at once, dudes all over the place and whips out calculator and tries to show new guy that at the same time. Use your framing square, all the info is there , dont need no fancy calculator. Just sayin.
    Frame on dude
