Despite the fact that we really love Feld games (especially Macao, ITYOTD, and the Speicherstadt), this one had such a reputation for being overly complicated. Great job breaking down each of the actions and really simplifying how this game works. Thanks for the video.
Excellently put together, I didn't quite "get it" when I read the rules. I think the order in which you presented things and how you made sure to point out when and how things affect each other are why it now all makes perfect sense. Quirky little Feld, love it.

This is an amazing game. After my first playthrough it instantly became of my favorite Feld-games. A hidden gem, for sure. And, as always, excellent explanation.
The Book action has a really bad iconography. On all graphics the white novice stands for a novice of your own color. But there it stands for any color. The rule text is right, but nothing which makes this clear on the graphic. Played whis wrong until now. The book tile is now more attractive.
One of the best board game tutorials I've ever watched! Helpful visuals, understandable but not ponderous voiceover, and nice and thorough.

Third best Feld's game IMO. ;) A criminally underappreciated design.
One of these days I will get around to rating all my Feld games :) But I agree underappreciated.

never actually played solo mode, but there is a page in the back of the rulebook explaining it if that helps.
If I use the sail boat on the novices on the landing dock back to a Holy Isle, does it become active or inactive?
