That is a beast for a home server. My main Linux Mint PC is an I5 11500 that I built a couple years ago. I have a couple of external SSD drives for backup and a 4TB cloud for my photos.
Thats sick, yeah i just got into the homelab just recently and its a huge life saver. Its one of those things that people need to know when they want to be a step a head .
I WAS considering going to the SSD route because of how many vids i seen for the HDD route. but the money per TB is undeniable. Are you using next cloud for your cloud storage??

Love your editing man! I'm getting the black version in the mail later today. Should I be putting the psu with the fan facing upwards instead of face down? I'm worried since it has no vents on the bottom!

To answer your question : Yes, upwards. this allows your PSU to draw airflow within the case (Netural/positive airflow) as your CPU fan draws it "intake" ( Positive Air flow) and your exhaust fan in the back to relieve the build up.
I do reccamend doing/getting a few things here:
1. Do Cable Management!! There will be wires all over in the back of the case and it will hit your exhaust fan.
2. Buy a bigger exhaust fan. I have the white NZXT F140 fan. (the default fan it comes with is SUPER LOUD) Highly recommenced it because your things will get hot because of the things you will be throwing at it.

Great Build. Hows the fan handling that CPU? did you have to set limits in bios?
@@iLVTechCorner i did not put any limits except Xmp lol. But I did put a NZXT fan for “RGB” aesthetics ; the default fan is loud and annoying. However the NZXT Fan is holding up however because it is a small case, I do get heat warnings because of the all the backup it’s doing. I do love having my own home server!
Would love to see the software/OS portion of this. Also, link to the 10TB NAS drive?
Can you fit a full atx psu in the case if you are willing to sacrifice some drive storage?
@@AR00N12I do not recommend it. But the answer is yes only if the PSY is less than 200mm. I did buy the ASUS SFX Loki. But again my build is all white for this video purpose.
how is the app called with whom you make picture backups in real time from your phone? image?
The docker is called "Immich" i do prefer you do it inside of Portainer docker instead of downloading it through the Unraid App Store.
Did the HBA come flashed in IT mode, or did you do it yourself?
@@SteveStrassburg the one I bought from eBay is plug in play? I do believe its already “configured” I have it listed already. Looking forward to seeing your build here or on Reddit 🤙🤙
Thanks, just bought a HBA flashed to IT mode with breakout cables for half the price of the LSI. Hopefully it holds up OK. I do have a Dell H310 as a backup, though. Need to flash it though. I will post the build on Redit, but still waiting for parts.

@@RetroBoxRoom hey thanks for stopping by! Yes the chair is from Nouhaus . I love the red/Burgandy one they have. Yes it has lumbar support and I can sit in for hours.

I just bought the stuff to build my first bespoke NAS as well. A different bit of kit than you, but it should be a fun learning curve.

I wouldnt say this build is "high specs" i would say its super expensive if you want an all white build lol. You can build a decent home server for about 500 USD.
can we instal ubuntu on N4 ?
You can install an VM on your home server yes.
32 Gbit RAM? Wow, that's like 4 Gbyte. ;)
