    These are terrific! I didn't know they offered warm light and Home Depot didn't offer the warm light when I bought mine....the bright light is the ugliest light ever 😝 Wish there was some way to change the lightbulb.
    But otherwise.....this is the best thing ever! I have mine in the hallway upstairs. I even used it in the winter when cooking odors travelled upstairs.
    Thanks Jeff.

      I'm not a fan of the bright light either. For some reason, you can only buy the softer light online. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍 🙂

    They've since added a bronze color. If that's your thing then its there but I think the white and black will be the most popular. I use one in my storage shed outside and its been great! Its mostly kept on low to keep some air moving. The shakes im ruling to be from being too close to the ceiling and it cavitates. Standard hugger ceiling fans tend to do the same.

    The best part is that now they are multiple options., now with five blades _and_ six plates rotating (counterclockwise) in the same direction as a normal ceiling fan, which makes the whole concept more better.

    Got two of these last summer, one for kitchen, one for hall, I like them. Small, but work good 👍. Just ordered a Black one, didn’t know they had different colors now, will switch out white in kitchen for Black, have Black appliances. I put the other White one in hall, in Bathroom fixture, Vertically. It seems to work just fine. Thanks for your review!👍

    My concern would be the weight. Doesn't look too heavy but, light fixtures don't require as solid of a "box" in the ceiling

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  6 месяцев назад +1

      I'd recommend it in a solid fixture. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂

    I actually remember when I was little in the early to mid 1990's, once a year I spent a couple of weeks at my stepdad's mother's house who was born in the early 1920's like 1922 and I remember the room that I slept in actually had a ceiling fan with no light, and then a separate light socket placed above the blades of the fan, so when you had the fan and light on at the same time, it actually created this flashing effect. Has anyone ever seen this?

    This makes me happy that the house I bought has ceiling fans in all the rooms (well, except for the kitchen). And there are lights, too. I haven't used the fans what with it being winter and all, but I look forward to the summer where they will be used. No basement or attic, but I could see them being useful in those spaces.
    In your 10-ft ceiling location, did you feel as if the air was directly on you or was it more dispersed yet cooling nonetheless?

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  6 месяцев назад +1

      You really only feel the air from the fan if you are directly under the fan. It doesn't do a great job of circulating the air around the room. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

    If you have two or more in the room does the remote that comes with the fan only operate the one fan and not interfere with the other fan/lights?

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, the remotes will interfere with each other. It wouldn't be that bad if the remotes were the same... sadly the buttons were changed. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂

    Ha ha ha, tipple fan set-up, yeah, not safe, and looks silly. However, thanks for share, might get these for a garage.

    It has an annoying humming noise from the fan motor, is that normal? Installed ceiling fans are completely noiseless.

    IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR
    🇬🇧 UK 🇬🇧
    These fans are great. They're cheap and economical to run.
    The only problem is if you live in the UK 🇬🇧 you need to change your light fitting from the bayonet type to the screw fitting, which in the UK is easier said than done, firstly you have to find a store that sells the screw in type. I couldn't. The only place I could get one was on line. The first one I got was from Temu. As soon as soon as I saw it, I thought it looked cheap and nasty. The screw insert seemed to be a bit wobbly. As soon as I screwed the fan into the metal screw insert of rose, it just ripped out of its retaining screws.
    You can imagine the foul language.
    On examining it, I found it to be made of just cheap thin tin, even thiner than those aluminium screw caps you get on a bottle. As the fan needs to be screwed in reasonably tight, I decided to buy a more expensive one from eBay.
    I found this one to be just as bad and made of the same cheap and nasty material.
    I decided the best way around this was to take the screw insert out of the rose fitting by removing the two little retaining screws, then pulling it out and applying a coat of Gorilla glue to it, screwing it back into the rose socket, and then allowing it to dry for 12hrs or so.
    I found that by doing this, It was a strong, firm, and secure fit and I was able to screw the fan in tight enough to stop it from vibrating itself undone.
    Also, it stops any wobble in the socket during operation, especially when using the extension, which I found had the same cheap and nasty insert that I would gorilla glue before use. WHY can't they make them out of something more durable, such as brass like our bayonet fittings in the UK.
