Waiting on my second pair of Type 1’s. This time with the composite toe and an extra toe cap. Love my first pair and they are an all day boot, once they are broke in. Love your videos, keep up the great work!
I like your videos. I did some videos on my T1's. To condition I flipped to my front facing camera, and propped it up so I could kinda keep an eye on what I was doing. Didn't video cleaning. I felt there was enough of that out there, and it wasn't deep cleaning.
Brother I have a pair of whites smoke jumpers that I rotate out with my nicks and they are both wonderful. I’m a lineman in Georgia. I’ve worn them in hurricanes and ice storm this past winter in Kentuckey and Ohio. They are great in all kinds of temp and terrain. Hope this helps. Stay safe
Just watched your latest on black linemen. You said leave a comment, but comments are turned off. Nice boots. You sould show how you stitched up your lava cut… i just got back a rebuilt pair and stepped on some angle iron. Dam near went through. Any lesser boots and i would of needed stitches. Jon J
It been about two weeks since I receive my Frank's hey are the ground pounder with the white vibram crepe sole. And you right I want another pair so bad
I have a few pair of Whites & Viberg Boots. I have not seen Franks or Nicks in the flesh but from videos I think they are built more robust overall. My Whites Bounty Hunters and Engineers are fine for use mainly in urban wear and motorcycle duty. On two pair the pull up loops are very light duty and have blown or on the verge of giving .Except for the loops they are fine but may be indicative of how the rest of the boots are built (a guess on my part). Hope this helps towards your Whites purchase. I am in the market for Nicks or Franks engineer boots.
Thanks for the update on these boots brother! Also thanks for the sullivan reviews Ive since acquired two pairs mostly due to your reviews. Keep going ✌🏻
"My beautiful bride... ...bitch fine as fuck" hahaha Thanks for the update on the boots man. Can't wait for the wallet. I work in some whites hathorn 110v's right now, they're similar to the type one commander but with a 3/4 inch sole and a #3 toe. I just ordered some type one commanders with a 1 inch sole but still a #3 toe.
I have the nicks rangers there pretty much the same thing as yours there good boots I feel that the 430 mini lugs aren’t the best for work as compared to the regular lugs I usually wear my nicks builder pros at work and wear these for more casual wear good video
Love the videos from someone who uses the boots for their intended purpose. I have a question on the stiching with the Vibram 430 soles. I have. A few pairs of PNW boots. Always went with V100(s), regular, red dot, & white dot. Seemed to me that when the stuching wears thru on the bottoms the sole would have more of a tendency to delaminate or at least the stiching on the vamp wouls start to pull thru. What is your experience?
Keith, telling it like it is! NIce. Loving my Franks! Starting to give as they break in. The Whites hiker boots were crap. I didn't like them and sold them. Telling it like it is ;) I have another pair of Whites, like 'em.
@@keithjohnson5148 Truthfully Keith, I bought mine maybe 10 years ago and haven't looked at them since. They never fit my foot right as at that time they didn't make them custom. So, they may be a bit different now although, one of the last times I was at Whites (there every 2-3 months looking for clearance items), they appeared to be the same. I just remember they didn't provide me with stability I get from a real hiking boot like my Asolo's. Your situation could vary. :)
I just checked Whites webpage. Are you looking on the Hunting tab? If so, those are not anything like the boots I said were crap. Those look like proper hiking boots and I may have spoke out of turn. Disregard my comment if those are the ones you're considering. I didn't see the "Hiking" boot they used to sell although, I've seen it in their store recently.
@@bozartg Yea I seen the ones under the hiking tab,I searched hiker and a nice leather boot popped up around 400+ those are the ones I’m considering.called them today said they are 12-16 weeks out on lead times.
Hahaha "outlawing" fucken love it. Nothing better than outlawing in your favourite non-safety boots when you can get away with it. These boots look good cheers for the review.
Dude. You have designated your latest video as "made for kids" That means we can't add it to playlists or comment on it. I know it's confusing but please fix it. It will ruin the channel.

I like Whites boots, they are popular so you can often find used pairs on ebay. i got some for 60 dollars lol

Hey Keith when you going to do another update on your collection of Frank’s boots?

Hey Gerry,
I can’t find much feedback on the hiker model what did you dislike about them.I like the look and build quality far as pictured.

@@keithjohnson5148 so strange Keith. When I search the only thing that comes up are the three European made boots under the “Hunting” tab.

“Hope he don’t stop” hahaha.
You ever have a safety just come up to you and step on your toe to check?
Thems is fightin' words.
I dont even own Franks; just like your reviews!
Hell yea thank you brotha! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
How heavy is one side of the front range boots?
Trying to decide between Frank's and Whites
Man you are lucky your treads hold up so long. Those things will last forever for you.
Do you have veterans discounts?
Nothing like PNW boots.
White's makes hiker boots?
Yes, owned a pair several years ago and wouldn't recommend at all. Sold them for a loss, hope that guy got good wear out of them.
Time for some Obenauf’s LP
Do you sell your wallets at Franks Boots?
