From setting clear goals to understanding the importance of a routine, Peterson provides invaluable insights into making meaningful changes in your life. Peterson emphasizes the significance of stopping detrimental habits and actions that you know are not in your best interest. After graduating from Fairview High School in 1979, Peterson entered the Grande Prairie Regional College to study political science. He later transferred to the University of Alberta, where he completed his B.A. in 1982. In 1985, he moved to Montreal to attend McGill University. He earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology under the supervision of Robert O. Pihl and Maurice Dongier in 1991. Peterson lived in Massachusetts, while teaching and conducting research at Harvard University as an assistant and an associate professor in the psychology department. During his time at Harvard, he studied aggression arising from drug and alcohol abuse, and supervised a number of unconventional thesis proposals. In 2004, a 13-part TV series based on his book Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief aired on TVOntario. He has also appeared on TVO on shows such as Big Ideas. Peterson was nominated for the position of Rector of the University of Glasgow in March 2017.

Dr. Peterson basically tells us what we should have learned in childhood but were never taught. In that sense, he is a stern but fair father figure... which many of us desperately need. He is strict, but fair and most importantly what he says resonates with many of us as truth to a degree that we trust these words and we gain the ability to slowly change our lives. Thank you Dr. Peterson.
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA766 Luka
Trust the truth..it does go to improve and transform even when the information finds you at after 25/35/45/75 it does so much good inspite of all the harm our minds have taken in
Agreed 👍 yet will always be baffled at the depth he went to find the answers to all we were taught. He dug for answers to all our books and he is the Micheal Jordan for phycology and humans in general. He didn't not respect those in the field. He challenged it . Dont think there will be another like him ,
Its because of control if human capablities are not supressed the throne will always at high risk.. alexander the great is not a one person there will be more and more great men will rise in every generation if not prevented..
Jordon Peterson is completely inspiring. I have spent so much time paralysed by the fear of addressing problems. What a waste of time. I am finally learning to face and deal with problems....... at 66 !! This video has inspired me onwards.....
I'm glad that you're feeling inspired by our content, it means a lot. Thank you for sharing and thanks for watching! Much love. :) #BelieveNation #BTA759 Luka
Jordan Peterson is a mighty force for critical thinking, problem solving and a much better life. And he's a complete breath of fresh air and common sense in the whole psychological community.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching twominutetips. :) #BelieveNation #BTA588 Shine
Scott Aveles that maybe how you feel, however if you have digested any material on relationships, self help, business, success of running a business, or you realize, there are some common themes not only from him but others, of what you would consider successful. However since has PhD he can communicate it more and translate it more effective then most. You do not have to believe Me or anyone else, but you notice it.
authentic? means $?
Scott Aveles ...Scott...you sound mildly pissed off...but realistically...this is highly educated researcher of human behaviour...who also has a private practice where he treats exactly the kind of challenges he is talking about.
Further...if you actually counted the numerous lectures he has conducted..that are right here on youtube...it is impressive...you think those talking points just suddenly appear?....dont think so....actually this guy probably has worked harder than most of us to develop the body of work he has put forward....thats a lot of research..a lot of organization....lot of work....
You can certainly disagree with his positions...but you are clearly wrong in thinking this academic has not worked a hell of a lot..and created hell of a lot in his life up to this point...most disagree with that sentiment...
twominutetips AMEN! SO TRUE! I'm a Peer Support person, am rethinking, revaluating my Life!
MAN, you have NO IDEA how much I wish I could have had someone like this guy in my life as a mentor or an accountability partner when I was in my early 20s. Fantastic advice, very insightful--THANK YOU, Evan, for featuring him.
I'm glad that you like it! Thank you for watching. Much love. :) #BelieveNation #BTA736 Luka
Thank GOD I did, my FATHER . .
. . . . .
You didn't know how to make a schedule and "stop doing the wrong things"?
Jordan Peterson has saved so many people from ruination it seems. It's quite humbling to see the effect this man has had, given the rough run the media gave him, it reminds you that one person can make a difference. He's red pilled more people, sure, but most importantly he's helped people reform their lives in some amazingly productive ways.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching bashpr0mpt. :) #BelieveNation #BTA588 Shine
that's a commonly used word mate
+sammy2629 dood...schmoogle it. Totally a word.
Not usually a fan of the intellectual type but Jordan Peterson intellect is NOT from an ego place but from an intuitive place - knowing right from wrong. His sincerity and willingness to bear the barbs from those politically correct intellectuals who hate him are inspiring and somehow endearing.
With respect NancyLee, I think you miss the point entirely by suggesting that Professor Peterson's intellect comes from an "intuitive" place. He's highly educated and clearly deeply thoughtful -- he's worked HARD to create uncommon sense, and that seems to be the oposite of the "intuitive" mode. I think of the type of person whom, when faced with a solid argument that they happen to wish was not true, attempt to dismiss it by saying "You're over complicating things...MY position is just 'common sense (i.e. intuitive)"' because they're incapable of or unwilling to engage in hard mental work. Then I remember my very wise Dad's maxim: "'At any level of complexity, 'common sense' is rarely either common or sense." No offense meant, but I think you might want to consider this in re: your admiration for Prof. Peterson (which I share).
@@craigcoletta9380 Just because something is lofty and abstract doesn't mean it can't be intuitive. Considering his ramblings in my day to day has helped me communicate with my friends and family a lot better, and has generally made me a less miserable person.
There should be a Jordan Peterson in every classroom.
Thanks for the comment and for watching Emily. :) #Believe #BTA587 Shine
In every room.
we should set up holagrams in each highschool classroom so that could possibly happen.
Emily Chubb I think high school kids should be required to listen to JP. My four sons would benefit greatly!

"You have to negotiate with yourself and not tyrannize yourself."
Thank you for watching and for posting the quote. :) #BelieveNation #BTA717 Luka
That opened my eyes a little bit more
what does that even look like though?
Nice
@@dr.martinlroberts1908 basically don’t beat yourself up and put yourself down like you’re being controlled. acknowledge that you have flaws and that it takes time to change behavior, so start small by negotiating with yourself, for example if i know i’m a bad smoker and want to quit, i’m not going to just stop smoking straight away because i know i will break that vow and then beat myself up and then just continue to smoke be bitter. Instead I should negotiate with myself and say, okay i know i’m not going to quit outright, so how about I stop smoking on weekends, and if i think i can do that then i’ll try to implement it, if i fail, well then i’ll say to myself, okay how about I don’t smoke on sundays? and boom i achieve that, then you slowly move up and expect setbacks
" If you dare to do the most difficult thing that you can conceptualize your life will workout better than it will do if you do anything else ". That was profound.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for watching Taha. :) #BelieveNation #BTA673 Shine
He is an incredible human being. I personally think that the most important advice the he ever gives was not included in your video. "If you want to save the world, start by cleaning up your own room".
It's just an adaption of this: hackernoon.com/if-you-want-to-change-the-world-start-off-by-making-your-bed-fd32e3475b3f (www.mcravenbook.com/) but good advice nonetheless.
I like it. I think it comes from a Chinese proverb: "If you want a better world go home and love your family".
But why do you see the twig that is in the eye of your brother, but do not see the log in your own eye? Or how will you say to your brother, Allow me to cast out the twig from your eye; and behold, the log is in your eye! Hypocrite, first remove the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the twig out of the eye of your brother.
(Matthew 7v3-5)
I can't find the sense, why please explain why?
Cewl! World saved a 1000 times. :)
If I were to meet Jordan Peterson, my first impulse would be to shower him with compliments about how amazing he is. But that wouldn't really be beneficial.
His ability to consistently help me articulate my thoughts and motivate my sense of self is truly astounding. He's a man who isn't afraid to stand in the face of chaos and call out, unflinching to the unknown and question those who would wish to silence him.
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching, Sophie. :) #BelieveNation #BTA655 Luka
Sophie Parry well spoken. I feel alot of the same things. I have been watching hour or two a day of Dr. Peterson's lectures. His insights on myth and religon are very engaging. Although I am yet to have a novel idea come yet the doors he opens in my mind I feel will make it possible.
"Stop doing the things you know are wrong. Make a schedule and stick to it. Clarify your thoughts. Stand up to the things you are afraid of. Stop wasting the opportunities in front of you."
This line really stuck out to me. " Your not your own servant, your someone you have to negotiate with"
I liked that too - don't be the master, don't be the slave - negotiate
Did you know that you're and your are different words? Use them.
The one moment that made me see Dr. Peterson as a voice that the lost millennials could identify with and greatly benefit from is when he cries talking about responsibility and young people. ''Why young men are hungry for responsibility'', he is a beautiful person.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching Daniel. :) #Believe #BTA589 Shine
Hello Daniel, what point in this video did that happen, or are you talking about another one of his recordings? I think I saw something similar in his talk to Harvard or Yale students some time ago and indeed, the experience was so moving to feel that another human being has such passion and caring for someone like me, and all of us!
Young men aren't hungry in Southern California, the most apathetic generation I've ever seen. The young women as well, 8/10 times. They want responsibility for nothing here.
"If for ten years if you didn't avoid doing what you knew you needed to do... what would you be like?"
painoda me too
Damn. Me too. I replayed that part like 4 times.
That thought scared me!
Rule 4 just blew me away. His passion is intoxicating. I could listen to this man all day. Inspirational
I did the opposite 20 years, I’m only just recovering.
His best suggestion is to split the task into small parts and do them every day without doing too much. You kind of get into the tune, and the whole project get's done eventually.
Thank you for watching and for the comment epSos.de. :) #BTA632 Shine
We used to say.."Don't try eat the elephant all at once"
Building a home theater system... piece by piece.
“Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs”
That's pretty fundamental --- most people don't need someone to tell them this.
Wake up and make your bed. It starts your day on the right track, trust me
Agree. :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts Charles. #BelieveNation #BTA588 Shine
Hygiene experts tell you not to make your bed immediately because that traps the moisture from your body between the sheets and encourages bacterial growth. Better to pull the sheets apart and let the bed air out first.
Personally, I have always thought that making the bed was the most inane chore ever. Who are you making it for? If you're making it for yourself, what a waste of time. If you were making it for someone else, you'd put fresh sheets on the bed. So why bother at all?
anonygent interesting. I'll brush my teeth first from now on.
Youre making it for yourself and for others I suppose. You're creating an organized living space. If you dropped papers on the floor of your room would you leave the room incl chaos? If so perhaps your mind is chaotic and you need to work on sorting yourself out. Just my two cents. If you align the small things you can focus on the big things
For me the one single thing that sets up a good start is: go to bed at a decent hour so that you get enough sleep and wake up at a decent hour.
anonygent. Ok, cool question and angle. My advice going with your good logic is... wake up and make your bedding in a way that let's it breathe. So when you return to go to Sleep, it has breathed and just needs you to get in and cover up!
Original poster meant that you start as you intend to finish ;)
Thanks for covering him, Evan.
Dr. Peterson is one of the clearest, honest thinking men to have ever lived.
Keep it up!
It's really cool that I'm seeing Jordan Peterson in contexts outside the political that I am accustom to seeing him. He's a guy who has the potential to directly change quite a bit in Western culture through reaching people and helping them perceive some things differently.
Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts Poindexter Queue. :) #Believe #BTA589 Shine
Thank you. Dr. Peterson is all over the internet right now and I recently discovered him, as I feel many people are doing at this time. I suppose his popularity is partially due to his refreshing reminder of the importance of responsibility and how it affects our reward systems and mental health. He calls us young people to focus on improving ourselves as individuals before trying to fix the world that we know nothing about. Dr. Peterson is influencing a new wave of productive and self-aware entrepreneurs, and I think that his lessons on the biblical stories will inspire a mass of people who felt a void in their life by reminding them the purpose of Christ, which was the ideal self, without being religious about it. He is dominating young minds and that's a good thing..
Up until last night I had never heard of this guy. I was on a security assignment and as a consequence saw his whole speech. I have never seen anyone with such a capacity to deliver such clearly enunciated concepts in a way that makes them immediately accessible. I will be doing more of Mr Peterson and looking forward to getting the audio of 12 Rules for Life. Oh yes and he's also a really nice bloke in person.
Thank you for sharing with us :) #BTA798 Luka
It's like we already know most of the stuff about our psychology and how it works. We think we know what direction we need to take in life but we just ignore or delay it till becomes really late. This guy talks the same stuff but puts it in way so our mind can relate to it.
One of the best top 10s. Yes, less Hollywood so called stars and more of people with substance like Mr Peterson please.
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA645 Luka
Ironic that this is being put up on the same day when RUclips mysteriously blocked and unblocked Peterson's channel. This man needs to be heard!
I never knew about Jordan Peterson until I learned RUclips took down or censored his videos with no explanation. Later they were put back up. I subscribed to his channel immediately! It was a great find and can't believe how RUclips can be so so silly and small minded. Did they do this to increase his audience?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Nathan. We did this since someone requested for him to be profiled and we can learn from him although it's great if it could also help people to know about him. For any suggestion, anyone could post their request under the comments of this video: Top 10's - Who Should We Profile NEXT - ruclips.net/video/0arZb0xLIDM/видео.html if more people would vote or like the request and there are available videos/clips, we might do a Top 10 rules video for it. Evan Carmichael f Thanks so much for this wonderful video! First time I have seen your space! I agree with the earlier reader who said if you listen to Jordan Peterson daily so that he will understand truly what he said and then put the concepts into effect gradually consistently in your life you will feel a tremendous newness
Jordan B. Peterson unfold the power of selfconcieous and the strength of the mind in a brilliant way, letting know that anyone can change his/her life to be redirected in a positive constructive manner as of now. It's never too late.
Couldn't agree more :) #BTA810 Luka
Peterson is, and I'm not kidding when I label him, the smartest, most logical man of our time! What a beautiful mind!
Thanks for sharing :) #BTA845 Luka
We need more people like this guy. He's a PhD shrink, but he seems like a good guy. Not so much a 'good guy', more like he's an intellectual that is more than happy to share his wisdom. Education these days is being controlled by a bunch of weak minded privileged people who have never had to struggle to receive the benefit of affluence. I guess that they're bored with shopping and video games so they decide to try and dismantle the system that has inadvertently showered them with unearned wealth. Those SJW's are inviting totalitarianism, jack boots, big brother, along with the destruction of the inner values that actually fulfill people. Things like love and understanding and the acceptance of the fact that we all have a lot to learn. Keep up the good work Dr. Peterson, wish I had you as a prof. Thanks from Vancouver
fireflyus10 what's an SJW?
Social justice warrior. People that label anyone who disagree with them as racist, sexist etc. etc. and try to get them fired (often succesfully). They only care about their agenda and will attempt to shove it down your throat.
My new hero! Jordan B. Peterson! Love this man. SOLID ADVICE!
Thank you for the comment and for watching Carlos. :) #BelieveNation #BTA716 Shine
"sTop saying things that make u weak" i;ve listen this so many times and just now figured out this is not aout things that make you feel weak or saying things like blaming your self, its to stop saying a thing that manifests things that are not in your best - he means the same with"" speak the thru"" to help u organise and make u solid. Thank u Evan.
:) #BTA898 Luka
I need to listen to this daily.
Thanks for watching Steven. :) Keep learning...always #Believe. #BTA588 Shine
Last year, I retired from a 20-year Army career. Ever since, I went back to college...but I've felt like I'm not getting anything out of it. Even worse, fear and self-doubt started to take hold, and depression set in. I lost all motivation.
I just discovered Mr. Peterson last night.
I'm still in tears today, realizing there are all kinds of paths available.
Evan, in response to your initial request at the start of the video -- #4 was powerful....but #5 really spoke to me.
Specify your goals. I've gone through my Army career training soldiers, and using the mantra, "Keep it simple."
So instead of setting a vague, broad goal....simply if it, and keep it specific.
The picture is becoming clearer.
This is painful, but necessary information. I know that I personally could be and do more...... WAY too much time wasted.
Totally
You are not alone! We are all in this together 🤗
Dr. Peterson, you will probably never see this but you have changed my life. 1 year ago I was a homeless, addicted, pathological, pathetic, self centered, mass critic, who shucked responsibility and was a negative influence on Anything and anyone in my vicinity. Today, I am tobacco free, meth free, and no longer homeless. I’m improving myself daily by following your teachings. I started with refusing to litter. I threw away all my trash no matter how far I had to walk to do so. I quit smoking cigarettes and later meth. I got a job, then an apartment. Finally a bed (and I make my bed everyday!) I shower daily now. I follow through on my commitments, and I’m slowly identifying and improving my true self. I’ve come face to face with my shadow and he was far more evil than I ever would have hoped for and I choose to muzzle him regardless. It’s an ongoing journey but I’m a better person and thereby the world is plagued by one less parasitic knucklehead thanks to you! Much love ❤️
Wow amazing story thank you for sharing Kevin! ❤️😊 #Believe - Ahmed
i am surprised no hAte is in the comment section for his conservative views.
god bless you Prof Peterson
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. #BTA583 Shine
Its not even that conservative hes a classical lib haha.
My mom hates him cause he is too liberal and she is super conservative.
Camden, This is not conservative views or liberal views..this is attempting to make sense of things and gain some sense of control of ones thoughts, life, actions, and outcomes. An intelligent, but fairly realistic view.
He doesn't want to alienate people by mentioning religion or politics. He's bring practical wisdom to all people. Wonderful :)
The problem is that actually examining things truthfully, without the normal biases and preconceptions, can get an intelligent person (like Mr Peterson) into deep shit - Particularly in this age when the internet provides easy access to vast amount of unfiltered information - just try doing a genuine inquiry into something like the 'holocaust' and you Will find absolute truths that are absolutely unmentionable unless you don't mind people calling you a Nazi (and them actually believing it too!)
What I mean is that Reality is very 'right wing'...
Jp is such a brilliant man.
Thanks for the comment and for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA583 Shine

I fucking love Jordan Peterson!! His bluntnbess and appreciation of fact is so refreshing!

I think #6 and #7 are related ideas. Stop saying things that make you weak is thought provoking. When he says he had to stop saying 95% of what he was saying because they were not well thought out or he was just repeating dogma that he had heard somewhere. Stripping yourself down to 5%, like a small flame of pure intention, and building from there. it's a powerful idea.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. #BTA876 Luka
This guy is brilliant. I am smart, but this guy is brilliant. I can understand what he says, but I would never think of the concepts or see some of the patterns in things that he came up with.
The way he thinks is amazing. I can relate what you saying. I see the patterns but can't think in patterns.
"i am smart", congrats, along with the entire human population you think you're smarter than average. no one cares
25:48 "you're a bad employee and a worse boss... and both of those work.. you know.. for you. You don't know what you wanna do and then when you tell yourself what to do, you don't do it anyways. You should fire yourself and.. find someone else to be."

The schedule part was cool. Making a calender sucks because you see the lame things you agreed to do. Then think making a calender is lame. This man is a HERO! He inspired me more than any "celebrity"
Celebrities don't inspire. They sell. They sell themselves first, then products like clothes, makeup,
cars, jewerly and the list is eternal. That's what celebrity is meant to do; a false image built
to sell a lifestyle ( we will never have) and products that are mostly useless. It's ALL FAKE.
@@mjrotondi5086 exactly. Sadly society is way too obsessed with them. We're at the point where they seem to be above us "peasents". It's ridiculous. But this man helps people take control of their lives. That's a noble thing.
"The things you Do and that you Don't Do are far more important than you think."
Starting now I'm going to turn my life around, good thing is i don't have any girlfriend or child to slow me down only myself, success here I come!
Mike Love Thyself A loyal girlfriend will make you a better person. Pick the right woman, bro.
Rohan Narain problem is they are way too hard to find
Mike Love Thyself how is your life going? What changed?
Don't worry about girlfriends or any other distractions. You have the right attitude. Make and follow a realistic plan of action. You can do this!
go for it Mike !

Wow! Stop saying things that make you weak. I accept that I am someone who truly commits to being a better person everyday yet I have struggled to understand the difficulty of my daily "climb". The words I am speaking are "depleting the tread on my hiking shoes" and "shortening the length of my hiking stick". So when the grade of the challenge gets steep I slip, lose traction, or slide back. I need to hear the words, the defeating words and instead breathe in confidence and faith. I have to admit I am saying things that defeat me. Of course anything I allow myself to say I will hear as truth whether it is true or not. This rule will have me on guard for where I make the climb harder. Thank you Evan for all you do to make the world better.
I thank God for Prof. Peterson
I've been seriously depressed for years, I literally only discovered Peterson yesterday and have already watched several of his videos which have given me a real insight into my behaviors, thoughts and life in general which have hit me like a punch in the face.I'll be trying to soak up as much as I can from now on and try to heal some wounds and take some serious action in my life from now on.I openly invite anyone on here to message me in the up and coming weeks/months to track my progress and I'll gladly reply and return the favour if need be.
All the best people!
Peace
Make it happen! #Believe :) #BTA817 Luka
There isn't a need to watch a single self help video after seeing this. So much to chew on and implement.
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA611 Luka
Agreed.
Jordan's giving the best advice here, and I think that everyone can benefit from this
We are very sorry for the audio issue. Evan created a video to apologize for this and explained what happened. Please kindly check: ruclips.net/video/sUpRiUj6VZE/видео.html Thanks for the love and support. :) #BTA690 Luka
Evan Carmichael maybe set a goal to fix that sound issue.
Thanks! I was afraid I was the only person in the world with a clue. Until I heard Jordan B. Peterson speak. Almost cried when he did the aim high part. Ps. The world is simple enough for me to keep organized by myself but I find it hard to understand why nobody else can EVEN IF I EXPLAIN IT TO THEM IN A WAY I COULD UNDERSTAND WHEN I WAS ELEVEN ;)
What a good video for potential new followers to be turned away by
its all good. sounds like your in the toilet.. that's where we do some of out best thinking XD
Evan Carmichael Does Evan always refer to himself in the third person?
Dr. Peterson, thank you for sharing your brilliance with all of us!
Thank you for watching. #BelieveNation #BTA755 Luka
Wow this is so powerful...stop saying things that make you weak.

#10 Aim High.
It blows me away. Wow!
The things I just heard and learned.
Glad you're feeling it :) #BTA793 Luka
Damn, I rewinded #4 several times so I can really hear, understand and digest every single word. This ni99a is a genius. Love, love, love this‼️
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA742 Luka
This guy has an amazing way of relaying his thoughts to people.I figure out that when he is talking about a subject, his brain is usually full of words and ways of relaying his topic to his audience so much that he sometimes has to stop gesture his hands and fingers and choose the best from the many in his mind.
He is an AMAZING THOUGHT LEADER.
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA639 Luka
Jordan Peterson is awesome!! I love his youtube channel. Rule number one and four are my favourite. OR all of them ! :)
yes his videos are so insightful and soul stirring. Found his channel recently. it's a gold mine of knowledge and self Discovery.
He's at a level ALL educators should aspire to. Feel I had good teachers in school, but would have loved someone like Peterson. Makes you think for yourself and love education. His brilliance is also part of the challenge in societal discourse - How on earth do you bridge the gap between brilliant people and debaters at lower level. Especially when lot of people think all opinions matter equally despite their ineptitude. The intellectual divide is vast.
Thanks for sharing :) #BTA800 Luka
Nr 5: I realized my goals are "too big," if that's possible. What I mean by that, is that instead of having annual goals, which I don't get started on because they are so big, I need to break them down into smaller weekly, or at most monthly goals, that have as a result achievement of the larger goals.
Thanks for sharing :) #BTA880 Luka
I've recently turned my life around and really tried to be a better version of myself and inadvertently done many of the things on this list. The ideas of the changes just kind of came to me, slowly but surely, albeit not nearly as well articulated as JP described, and it's crazy to see them all listed here and then some. Thank you for putting together this video.
This is interesting because it's not a string of cliches, it's new ideas and information and he challenges the listener!
Jordan is one of the best people to be Specking out about these issues. Truly amazing to hear him speck. Can't get enough of it
Glad you like it, Brian :) #BTA810 Luka
YAASSS!!! Pleasantly surprised you made one on Peterson, great work. He sure is making waves now go clean your room!
Great work putting this together, Evan. Excellent 'food for thought'. Filing this one so I can find it for easy reference. Needs to be listened to over and over again. We humans need to be reminded how to behave. Dr. Peterson is a gift for those who want to make an effort to enhance their walk through the shadow ...not a rod or staff...a man with curiosity and a voice teaching others to be and use the same.
Thanks for the appreciation and for watching Charm. :) #BelieveNation #BTA583 Shine
He is something else. I'm gna be attending UofT this yr and I cannot wait to meet Professer Peterson!
Thank you for watching and thanks for the comment! :) #BelieveNation #BTA755 Luka
Dear Evan, Thanks for the Vid. Most important takeaway for me....."Stop saying things that make you weak." This is an area of severe detriment for me. I am conscious of it, but can't stop. My friend at work just expressed Peterson's thought. She told me, if you say that, then that is what you are, and/or will become. You are NOT that. So stop saying it. I sincerely hope to follow my friend and Peterson's advice. For it is spot on.
Runner up... Don't think about your past. My soul IS trapped back there. Forever 1996 1997 for me. Worst years of my life. As I wrote above. I am conscious of it, but can't seem to stop. Damn it all.
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA736 Luka
This video is so full of wisdom.
Glad it's helpful to you :) #BTA849 Luka

Dude. You have 800k subs. Spend some cash on your audio setup. Other than that thank you very much for gathering these together.
I'm very sorry for the audio issue Kevin, Evan created a video to apologize for this, thanks to check: ruclips.net/video/sUpRiUj6VZE/видео.html Since Evan already recorded the videos, please kindly bear with it and we promise to ensure that for the next video recording, the audio will be better. #BTA587 Shine
No need for apologies man. I'm just trying to help. :)

Regarding where Evan recording the intro stuff, the location appears to be the biggest problem. Someplace that doesn't echo a bunch would seriously help.
Just wanted to write this down in hopes that I will remember it. Thankyou to JP for sharing your wisdom and you Evan for spreading it #BTA
We derive our sense of motivation either internally or externally. You can choose to "crack the whip", do something, crack the whip and then do something however eventually this becomes an endless loop of labour and procrastination as in this way, you feel forced into action and thus you essentially become a slave to your mind.
Instead, you can choose to have a conversation with yourself. This is internal; no longer an external motivator. It becomes drive. Through this, you become much more self-aware, much more present and much more productive. This is infinitely more empowering.

Loved hearing him on Tucker last night. I am now a follower!
I'm glad to hear that. Thank you for sharing and thanks for watching! :) #BelieveNation #BTA758 Luka
I had to stop at number 3 to share and also i have to keep studying. but number 3 is exactly why i want to start a podcast and get my rinky dink lil youtube channel up and running. Dr Peterson is one of the people i look up to for advice on life and i want to start a channel to discuss culture in a civil way in respect of all of these Online Pioneers like Dr. Peterson! cant wait to read 12 rules to life.
Glad it's helpful to you :) #BTA972 Luka
He understands and applies the years of knowledge he acquired .He is G-d
Thanks for sharing :) #BTA905 Luka
wayne Rivers - What is G-d? Good? God? Yes, he is good but he is not God. Only God is God. And for God's sake, learn how to spell. Or is this some kind of primitive superstition where you don't dare to spell out the word God in all its glory? God is great. I don't think that God would be so small and miserable as to be upset if you spell out His referent in English clearly. And does this only apply to English? Does it apply to Arabic, Herbrew, Zulu?
This man is on point 100%
Good looks on the video, as long as you view it with open mind, it will do a person good. Colorful explanation also helps, helps viewer focus. And I dig the way he not comming off like he trying too hard and gets annoying. Much respect man, bless
Thanks for watching :) #BTA800 Luka
"It isn't only your fate, it's the fate of everyone that you're networked with. And so people think there's over 7 billion people in the world, so what are you? You are just one little dusk mote among that 7 billion so it really doesn't matter what you do or don't do, but that's simply not the case! It's the wrong model! Because you are at the center of a network. You are a node in a network. Of course that's even more true now that we have social media. You will know at least a thousand people over the course of your life, and they will know a thousand people at least, and that puts you 1 person away from a million, and 2 persons away from a billion. So that's how you're connected, and the things that you do, they are like dropping a stone in a pond, the ripples move outward, and they affect things in a way that you can't fully comprehend. That means that the things that you do and that you don't do are far more important than you think." -Dr. Jordan B. Peterson
Thanks for posting the quote and for watching BKrandy. Always #Believe in yourself. #BTA659 Shine
That's a heavy thought. Outstanding.
I may not always agree with Mr Peterson but he will definitely be regarded as one of the great thinkers of our time, what a brilliant man!
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for watching. :) #BelieveNation #BTA688 Luka
he has a book coming out in January 2018 i believe called 12 Rules for Life
Rule#6 was the first time I have ever heard someone describe exactly what I feel 50% of the time when Mr. Peterson gave the example of being two different people inside his own mind and he couldn't distinguish which one was the "real" him. Very well put!
Thank you for sharing with us. :) #BTA725 Luka
Love your channel Evan.

Peterson is exactly what I have been looking for. He cannot be any more descriptive with the various explanations he provides on daily conundrums. Very deep speaker!! Two thumbs up!!
Thanks for sharing and thank you for watching :) #BTA974 Luka
This guy is amazing, and this video is very well-put! Thank you.
My failures have been the most useful guides to future success.
I looked within to find why I failed, determined to change my self-defeating behaviour, and then tried again.
Wow, was I surprised at the result.
Thanks for sharing, Fred :) #BTA815 Luka
