I was hoping it would end with closure and not with a cliffhanger... Overall I was pretty disappointed with the revival. Also I can't believe they wasted 20 minutes on that stupid musical!!!
Verena I mean isn't every ending a cliffhanger? Nothing really ends, if we knew who the father was and saw her give birth and even name her baby, life still goes on. Every ending is just a new beginning, as one door closes another opens. Anything can always continue on no matter how something ends, it doesn't mean it should.
Brennan Turner Yes you're right. Also I thought we knew who the father was, I mean it has to be Logan. I'm just mad about Rory's storyline. I wanted her to end up with Jess so bad. And her "relationship" with Logan was uncomfortable to watch since they were both cheating on their partners.
Verena personally I believe that she is going to continue her life almost as Lorelei did, but years later. I feel as though Logan will be Rory's Christopher, who she will always feel comfortable going back to when the times get tough, and Jess will be her Luke, like the timings never right by they are right for each other.
I totally loved the Life and Death Brigade reunion. I was so freaking happy and then so freaking sad. That was one of the best scenes for me. So happy Finn was there
What would happen IF Logan ditches his fiancee and agrees to be there for their baby??why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that Logan will be Rory's Christopher??
Claude Maassen Its def not her boyfriends.if she was pregnant with that Wookie guy she already would have been 6months along at the end.Its pretty confirmed the baby is Logan's.
If he loved Rory he would never make her the side chick. He would only want her even if it was just when she was in London. That did not happen. He instead is getting married and has his fiancee move in and clearly shows that he sleeps with her meaning they have a real relationship. He's cheating on his fiancee why wouldn't he do the same to Rory. He cheated on her before and played it off and it was cheating for Rory even if you don't agree. He also had the chance many times to tell Rory he doesn't love his fiancee and that he wants to be with her. He didn't. I lost all respect for him and was so disappointed in Rory. The episodes also alluded to Rory wanting to raise the baby alone. Hence, logan will probably already be married once he finds out about the baby. Which if he does won't be for a long time. Also, her getting pregnant shouldn't be the reason he drops everything to be with Rory because if he does it will be because he feels like he has to not because he wants to. If he really wanted to he would have done already. HE HAD SO MANY CHANCES WITH RORY SHE WAS CLEARLY NOT OKAY WITH HIM ABOUT TO BE MARRIED. SHE WAS SAD AND HE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE. SHE ENDED THINGS AND HE DIDN'T REALLY TRY TO STOP HER ALL HE HAD TO SAY WAS THAT HE ONLY WANTED HER AND SHE WOULD HAVE STAYED WITH HIM!
LittleRoyalKisses why blame Logan for it only??Logan wanted to marry her at the last season but SHE rejected him. i think they both are in love and do they have a chance.Logan wont bail out on his child. In the last scene Logan wanted to stop her but he was afraid that she will reject him AGAIN!i think the ending was like this coz the writers left the viewers to decide the ending they want. Like some some fans are assuming that Rory,Logan,Jess will be a version of Lorelai, christopher,Luke. But for some fans like me i assum Logan wont be Rory's Christopher. He will take responsibilty of his child
Claude Maassen sigh. By this video its intensly clear that Logan is the father??The interviewer is asking Matt 'If Logan will Rory's christopher?" the clear meaning is "Is he gonna bail out on his baby like christopher did with Rory'.
yikes izzy rich families, engaged, cheating, on again off again, his family hates the girl friend, ends up in the family business, has a baby unmarried, is the "fun/adventure/cash to burn" BF is the one she "wants to want" Believe it or don't Chris / Logan is a parallel. Don't get me wrong I love Logan and I love Jess but they are clearly setting up Jess to be the one for her
+Rose Manupello [SPOILERS - DO NOT READ IF HAVEN'T WATCHED EPISODES] You do realize they completely ignored season 7 development of Logan. In season 7, Logan left his family's business because he had his own values and wanted to work on things his own. Lorelai had full respect for Logan by the end of season 7 because he respected her and she saw how he truly cared for Rory. If anything Rory and Logan are like Emily and Richard. They both met each other at Yale, Logan comes from money just like Richard did, both parents didn't approve of Emily and Rory at first, both Richard and Logan were engaged to someone else while seeing Emily + Rory, and in the end Richard chooses to be with Emily anyways. Throughout the revival, Logan and Rory showed continuous love for each other, but the communication was so poor. You could tell in Fall episode, Logan was waiting for Rory to say something after he told her his marriage was the dynastic plan. The difference between Chris and Logan is that Chris knew about the baby, and Logan doesn't.. Logan by all means would just leave his fiance who is being forced to marry for business reasons for Rory and the child if he knew.
yikes izzy just because Logan left the family business at one point doesn't mean he couldn't have gone back. Christopher did. And no Logan doesn't know about the kid yet. You said he would leave Odette for Rory& the kid and that's true that would be of his nature, just like Christopher left Lorelai because of Sherri and Gigi. Don't get me wrong I love Logan I do! But if you were to compare him to Christopher there are a lot of similarities. And there are also some similarities to Richard too. I don't think they ignored his S7 storyline at all.
ASP does not get in the specifics enough with Logan's characters which makes it hard to fully understand what is going on. They never mention why he went back to his father's business or that he ever left, therefore ignoring season seven from when he left. There are some similarities, but I still strongly believe Chris and Logan are different. Christopher actually liked and loved Sherri, Logan doesn't love Odette. He is only marrying her for business reasons and possibly doesn't love her. Clearly it's not serious if Odette lived in another country while being engaged to Logan. These characters deserve better than this. Rory deserves better than this. Her whole life was built to be better than her mom's and actually do things with her life to build a career and to have a healthy relationship and ASP is just messing with everyone at this point ugh
Thank you Matt Czuchry for speaking the truth. While I definitely saw the Christopher/Logan parallels especially when Logan first came on the scene in the show I think that by the end of the original run of the show he had matured a lot and that the revival actually regressed both Logan's character and Rory's especially in terms of their relationship. So I definitely don't think that just labeling Logan as Christopher 2.0 is accurate at all.
Season 7, as ... "different" as it was, and for all it's flaws, really added to the fact that Logan is a lot like Lorelai. And (probs gonna get hate for this, but whatever) Rory, herself, can be a hell of a lot like Christopher sometimes, too.
Jules Broun YES! I have always thought that. Forget the Christopher comparison Rory isn't dating a carbon copy of her dad she's actually dating someone very similar to Lorelai. Logan and Lorelai are extremely similar in some aspects and I've always thought that was part of what made him appealing to Rory.
Joyce B. Thanks! I often feel like a pariah in the Gilmore Girls fandom because I definitely do not view many of the characters or their relationships in the light that most fans do. Nice to see I'm not the only one.
They are kinda similar in the way that they both come from wealthy powerful families and went through a rebellious phase but eventually fell in line with what their families wanted for them.
I want Logan to be the father and I'm really looking forward for them to be a happy family, like Richard would have wanted for Lorelai. I hope they make more episodes and make it right!!!
I can live with the side chick pregnancy, so long as she ends up with Jess (the man's her Luke, for heaven's sake), and Lorelai and Luke have a kid. Their OWN kid. Come on, a 1% chance isn't THAT far fetched.
I hoped for better with their story. I feel like they both could've been better. They clearly still love each other and have so many things to resolve.
Hardly. Amy said ages ago (during the series proper) that Logan is Rory's Christopher. Logan is destined to be the absent father married to another woman. While Rory showed feelings for Logan in the revival, Logan didn't show any (in my opinion) for Rory. He cares about her, true. But we know Logan - If he still loved her he'd have told her after the extravagance in Fall. He vocalises his feelings and wouldn't keep that to himself. Unlike Luke and Jess who can't communicate their feelings well.
On the subject of Rory being a sidepiece.... Actor that plays Logan: the situation was mutual, she was totes cool with it. Actress that plays Rory: she was emotionally dead inside, she was just putting on a brave face. Lol This interview sums up the opposite sexes perfectly.
Rory is supposed to be flawed. She still has a lot of growing up to do. Much like how Lorelai still had a lot of growing to do in season 1. Logan is Christopher. He's the absent father who's married to another woman. He'll pay for their child's education and pop in to be the fun dad. Nothing more.
Nah. I liked it, but I can admit it had some serious flaws. Major one being Rory's whole cringeworthy character arc. Congrats, Gilmore. You are officially the sidepiece.
I feel like it left us with far more questions than answers and that it had beloved characters pop in for mere minutes just for fans to say we saw them than actually tell us anything about what they've been up to all these years. I liked it a lot, but there were issues.
Kailee ey. it's called year in the life because you know, in life you don't get a closure. This is how it's supposed to be. The revival was better than the original show tbh critics agree..some fans just wanted a family movie happy ending which would have been really lame 💁🏼
logan in episode 4 to me was just further proof that he will ALWAYS do anything for rory. with that being said, he obviously did not break up with odette, but he still made time for her, gave her and offered to give her anything that she needed. i think it's pretty cheap to write logan off as a "christopher" just because of his background. people need to do more analyzing when it comes to rory. i think people should be more disappointed in her and the decisions she has chosen to make, instead of writing off logan for what he "might" do.
I agree Logan is definitely more invested in her than she is in him. I think if she gave any sign that she wants more in terms of commitment he would probably dump odette but he knows that she never will. Rory had potential and the revival ruined it
I agreeeeeeee, ppl just don’t use their god damn brains and compare Chris to Logan. Logan always loved Rory and was always there for her unlike Christopher
Why is everyone saying that Logan is Rory's Christopher?? I never ever thought that before I heard it and I don't agree at all! Logan wanted to marry Rory right after college, he always had her back and looked out for her! You could tell that he really loved her! Even though I was super happy to see him in the reunion, I am also disappointed in the way they have ruined their relationship by making them both cheat on their significant others which is so out of character to both of them! 😒
nina allegra Amy S-P said one time that Logan was Rory's "Christopher" keep in mind that this was how she wanted the show to end years back.. It didn't because she left the show
I agree also they complimented each other bringing each other up I would say they are solid and Rory when she talked to Logan about the marriage asking him if he really was going to marry the girl and he said that's the plan, then his friend interrupted and she looked away quick while he looked at her almost sad just like in the bed and breakfast when she asked when he would have to leave they both looked sad to let go and this whole jess being her Luke wont work shes Luke's step daughter now and thsts his nephew making them first cousins which is not right . Just see how that went in gossip girls it's a mess also a bit weirder ..
Hated Rory's storyline. She's so inconsiderate that she doesn't remember/cheats on her boyfriend with her ex who is engaged to someone else. It was pitiful. I wanted her to marry Logan at the end of the original series but after the revival, the thought of them leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Why couldn't she learn from her mistakes and her mother's mistakes instead of repeating them? Clearly Jess is her Luke and will be the one she ends up with but why couldn't it have happened before the revival or even during the revival? Instead we're left to wonder how long Jess will pine after Rory while she raises Logan's baby alone and whether she even deserves Jess who has always been the one to help her find her way when she was lost. So disappointing.
especially after losing her virginity with Dean who was married at the time you would think she wouldn't walk that line again. too bad all the character growth was down the drain just because they really wanted to ignore season 7.
Rory has never once said "I love you to Jess," it's a disgrace to his character that 10 years later he is still has a crush on the same girl who broke his heart several times. They weren't even in a serious relationship, it was just a teenage relationship that was just kind of there to help you grow in your life. Jess deserves so much better than Rory.
Their relationship was the worst part about this revival and almost single handedly ruined all four episodes, luckily Emily and Lorelei's consecutive character arcs were so well thought out and given closure that I could've cared less as long as it ended with Emily and Lorelei reconciling and her and Luke getting married, which it did.
Indi jay everything comes full circle. Her mom was pregnant and had her and in the end she got pregnant and knows the guy who she's pregnant by isn't going to be in her life.
Miykala Horton I'm sorry I disagree that's a bad way of looking at it. She basically was a side chick who repeated the cycle. Her mother raised her to be better and have morals. I just felt it was a let down of a character I respected growing up. It was disappointing to a lot of fans.
Indi jay that's your opinion. Also remember this: the script for the final season was completely different and she's using that script. Logan and Rory were never going to end up together and these were always going to be the final 4 words. Except she was supposed to be saying them at 23 and not 32
I strongly believe that Jess was the only boy who truly understood Rory and it was so evident that he could get her to do anything she wanted to because of the effect he had of her. I think Jess had been in love with Rory since he met her and has never stopped loving her.
that would make this so unrealistic as the one thing I liked about the characters or story was how unique and relatable they were. Rory having the exact same life like her mother is just stupid and so unreal. Logan is nothing like Christopher. if anything in the show he had quite a few similarities with lorelai since both born with silver spoon but wanted to escape and make their own identity but in one way or the other find themselves still connected to the life and world they wanted to run away from. Logan in the revival just wasn't the same Logan we saw. Logan and Rory were ruined in the revival... they should have got their happy ending.. because they both really loved one another.
Im not happy that the creator of the show made Logan like Christopher or Rory like Lorelai, Rory was supposed to learn from her mom and become something better. I wanted a happy ending for Rory and we are never going to get that.
I really love Rory and Logan's love romance , i wish the last part will end with their wedding , cause Logan's love is really true ! There's a saying that " True love has the power of coming back "
Lol, Logan is not Rory's Christopher. If Lor ended up with Chris, she would have been settling because she did not love him as much as she loved Luke (which btw-I still feel like she lowkey settled with Luke because I feel like he didn't gave her nearly enough of what she wanted or should've had in the end. I was so sad for her tbh-she's a queen) but if Rory and Logan ended up together, they would have worked because they both loved one another immensely. The ONLY reason she said no to marriage was cause she had so many other things she wanted to do first, she was 23 (I'M 23 and I'd hate to be married rn!!) and still figuring things out and I totally get Logan not wanting to do long distance too because they showed how sad they were being apart. It kinda made sense, as depressing as it really was. But it was very realistic. Anyways, If they showed them still wanting to be together 8 years later and still loving each other THAT deeply, they should've just gotten together. Like...if he was willing to marry her back then why tf would he not marry her now? With or without the baby? They're both constantly traveling now anyways, so why not be with the person who makes you happy to come home! God, i'm still not over this guys.
Logan pushed her to be the best in her professional life??? Dude, what show were YOU watching? Because I saw him enabling her every mistake and misstep. I think you might be confusing Logan with Jess. JESS always pushed her to be the best she could be. Jess did. Not Logan, Jess.
true. When she decided to not go anymore to yale, what he did? be ok with that, fine, respected her decission (one point for that) but never give her a nice advice after that, and i don´t know, he was very pasive for my taste, and Jess was honest, very honest with her, she was lost. Maybe was a bad boyfriend, true, but she help him and at the end he change, is a better man for her. Just look how was jess family xD, Luke was the only one, who cares. Logan has something good, but not for Rory, he is like cris in many things.
I disagree. Logan challenged her to go beyond her comfort zone. Also, he always treated Rory like an adult. If she didn't want to go to Yale anymore then she was an adult perfectly capable of making her own decisions. To be fair though... its not like Rory was perfect. She could also be a jerk and completely self-centered. So they both deserve each other.
Rockart9 - That's two different things, though - Treating her like an adult or pushing her out of her comfort zone are not the same as pushing to excel professionally. By enabling her to leave Yale and end up working for the DAR and so on, he may have been "letting her be an adult", but he was most certainly not helping her excel professionally. Quite the opposite, in fact. While I can't say that he was completely bad for her (he DID push her out of her sheltered existence), and while I'm not sure she deserves much better than him after who she turned out to be in the revival (Honestly, her treatment of Paul was unpardonable, and the whole willingly being the other woman thing was a close second on the "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING???" scale), but there is no way you could say that Logan pushed her to be the best IN HER PROFESSIONAL LIFE (caps for emphasis in this case, not for shouting. If I could use italics or an underline, I would). Nowhere else. Just in her PROFESSIONAL life.
So many different approaches she could have chosen for Rory continuing her lazy relationship with Logan was not something I wanted to see. -_- I loved and hated the new episodes.
Logan is not Christopher!!!! He is more like Lorelai because they both are from the same background, trying to prove themselves to their families and trying to choose their own path. Logan didn't want to continue the family business and he would be with Rory in a heartbeat if she told him about the baby. Christopher chose to not be there. I really think that Logan would be there for her, because it is clear, especially in the revival that he still loves her (and she loves him back). You could see like he was waiting for Rory to say something, but she never did because I think they were both afraid. I liked the revival, but the end was awful. Rory deserved better. A valedictorian, Yale graduate couldn't make anything good for herself in 9 years?? I get that sometimes things don't go as planned, but she deserved more. Logan deserved more. L and R grew so much in the series, and in the revival that was not what we saw. Jess deserved better! It is sad that he couldn't let Rory go after so many years, and its clear that she does not love him! She likes him, but as a friend. Only Lorelai and Luke got a happy ending (oh, Emily too).
Ana Lívia Procópio ooomg I was thinking exactly the same! Logan &Rory should have ended up together and she should have told him about her pregnancy it's not fair to dismiss him just like that. Even Christopher got the chance to decide if he wanted to raise her but instead he ran away. I think they really love each other 🙈 &I reeeeeally hope that there is going to be more! ✌🏼️
So Gilmore Girls 2.0 Series Next year for netflix. The ending was genius as to really not cut everything for fans. Its an open ending that is it easy when someone wants to pick up and the ending was delibaretly made as you can still create so much scenarios from it more thus making fans wanting more. its a great way to end it uf they want it all but then if they changed their mind there so much space to pick it up.
Joshua Joel Catubig I actually don't want more. I wanna forget this thing ever happened. I thought it was horrible. They ruined a lot with it and I hated it because of that.
Joshua Joel Catubig Except in an interview they said they probably won't continue it. The writers/directors changed in the last season and she wanted to finish the story with the last line Rory said, she now has so she said she is probably done.
Megan Rausch ....yes she is... She cheated on Dean with Jess, was the other woman in the Rory/Dean/Lindsay arch, and cheated on (poor) Paul for years with Logan/was the other woman in the Rory/Logan/Odette arch. Their "what happens in London" rule is stupid just bc you have a rule not to talk about it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I'm team Jess but I love Logan too...the "Logan cheers Rory up" arch was great!!! (Love the LDB!!!!!!!!) but the Rory/Logan/Odette one not so much
I watch 6 hours of Gilmore girls with Jess not being the guy she ends up with ... Disappointed .... Don't get me wrong I cried, smile, laughed but she was meant to be with Jess .. If not Jess she should be her baby daddy ....
I didn't like the way it was done, even though it's "realistic" in this modern dating climate. Lorelai herself has always been a selfish person, so it's natural for Rory to pick up on some of those traits. But to treat Paul as some "so nice he's just so forgettable" guy (irritating that it was played in a comedic fashion)....ugh. And Rory and Logan to have a "casual cheating relationship because neither of us have any respect for Odette, and we don't have any respect for ourselves either, because at 32, the mature thing to do would be to get serious, but it's more fun to have a no-strings attached fairytale jet-set romance!" It was all just so stupid. That it was portrayed as "quasi-okay" is the biggest problem in modern dating in my opinion. It's not really the fault of the show. I've known people who do things like this and act like it's something good...they feel free and empowered. But in the end, it's just selfish.
Olivia Abeziz I agree so much! when they were talking about that Rory's gonna find the right one, I did hope she would watch Jess entering Luke's or something...Idk but I was so disappointed :(
i was hoping that if rory ended with logan, then it would be on both of their terms and a happier one. now that the creators supposedly see logan as the christopher character, i hope rory would end up with jess. though i'm a logan fan, i can see how their relationship can play out like lorelai and christopher. kind of disappointing that it is only 4 episodes. i wished it played out some more
I just don't get it. Rory was the perfect little girl, clever, attanded on Yale etc.... and she is now 32, "homless", no job, no partner and having a baby without a father. I. JUST. DON'T. GET. IT. How???
Rory stopped being Miss Goody-Goody when she slept with Dean when he was married. She deviated more when she was in college and started with Logan. I know people get all gooey over Logan, but I always thought that he was an idiot. Slick, smarmy, irritating, and even worse when his idiot friends are around. People say that he always pushed Rory to reach her potential, but I think instead it was she who made him evolve into a somewhat-tolerable person, while he basically told her to never settle. This is partly why she lost job opportunities and it's probably why she still isn't "settled" today. Rory has always been smart, but I she probably thinks too much of herself. She spent so long chasing a dream that she probably ignored a lot of other legitimate opportunities along the way, and in the end, she is 32 and still floating around like a 20-something. The revival show is basically saying that's a good thing, in the end, because she's destined to be an author anyway and these mistakes will make her a better person.
Furthermore, I know someone just like Rory in my own life. She's 30, she's very well-educated (she has two Masters degrees), but she is essentially "homeless," and forced to work freelance and barely makes ends-meet because she just will not "settle" for just any job. She believes that she is talented enough for a big job with a "name" company or big startup, and gets frustrated that after years of trying and "networking," she has to settle for scraps and jobs on spec here or there. So yeah...I can totally see Rory in the same boat. Sometimes smart people think they are too much of a special snowflake.
This is what I want to happen next Logan abandons his father and business only telling his sister where he is He goes to stars hollow where he plans on starting up his own business and proposes to Rory and she later reveals to him that she is pregnant with his baby They end up buying a house in stars hollow together and Logan takes on the Gilmore last name and they start a family happily together If it’s a girl it would be Lorelei Gilmore the fourth and a boy would be Richard Gilmore, in honor of Richard of course
true but i also read that they don't need to make anymore episodes because we know what happens. lieterally the same thing as with lorelai. quite said really. logan is christopher and jess is luke. they could've at least made the wookie guy the father lmao
i am 100% its logan.not happy this ending. hope to seen happy ending with rory and logan. i really like logans and dean. they both falling a deep love with rory. but rory missed them love. i need to see logans and rory success love, life and married. great serial. really love it.
Jess never made Rory as happy as Logan did. Rory told that she loves Logan like a million times bruhhhh. Why yall shipping Jess anyways, Jess indeed caused Rory further trouble. Logan was the best for her, he always loved her and still does!
In my opinion, Rory and Logan are not Lorelei and Christopher. Logan is not Luke or anyone else, he is Logan. Thur relationship was too serious for Luke and and too stable for Christopher. Although, they could be toxic I do freel that Logan was meant for her. If they weren’t, I do not think that after nine years, they would not still be hung up on each other. It saddens me how choppy they were in the revival and if they had just one more episode. It could have been hood
I don’t think there will ever be another reunion special. Alexis wasn’t happy with the way the portrayed Rory. You can tell she was disappointed. I don’t think she’s jumping at the idea of doing more.
Because it makes no sense. Christopher was Lorelai's first romantic interest, they were teenagers in school. and Lorelai wanted to escape her fate, so to speak, and make her own way in the world. Rory was never trapped like teenage Lorelai, and Logan was her first grown-up boyfriend, there had been two others before him. The only thing Logan and Christopher had in common was that they were privileged and male. But by that count, a lot of men at Yale would be Christophers. I always liked that Logan reminded Rory that she too was privileged and part of their world and that she too had massively benefited from that privilege. By the time Rory got pregnant she was in her thirties and, at least hypothetically, independent, so why that is comparable to being a teenage mum running away from home is not clear to me.
I dont get how they copied a scene from Across the Universe, when they the guys and Rory were playing golf on top of the roof and played the same song from that movie.
Logan is not Christopher. Although that may be what ASP is trying to force us to believe. Also Alexis sounds like Rory used to sound in this interview but in the revival her voice just sounds strange.
I enjoyed it just as much!! I think they should do more !! And I think the handsome young man Rory bumped into, in the library scene should be babies father. I think he was young professor at college...
All you butt hurt people know that deep down this was the most amazing revival and ending. There isn't closure because Gilmore girls isn't about that. Also there wasn't a cut off for us. They're futures aren't sealed. We the fans can hope. Thankyouuuuuuu. GOODNIGHT!!
I always thought Alexis was a couple years younger than me! lol Never knew she was 2 years older and is 35. I'm 33 and still have a baby face like her. Crazy! lol Can tell she's aging slightly in the face a little.
Kayla Christina I think the whole point was for us to believe that it's Logan's and not some random one night stand. As a comment above states, this was always going to be the final 4 words. The show was not supposed to end where it did. It would have ended at Rory being pregnant at 23 with his kid and not 32 like in the new episodes
No it can't be wookie she would have been showing by fall. The phone call she got was them confirming her pregnancy so in the Fall so she was only a couple weeks if not a month in at that time. I think the point of her sleeping with Logan again was to tell us he is the dad.
Kayla Christina the Wookie was in spring, Lorelai's wedding was in Nov 5. she would be pregnant of 5 moths at least. Rory's drank alcohol in LDB scene also, she wasn't pregnant there yet.
spoiler alert....spoiler alert....spoiler alert ................................................................................................. .......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... I couldn't wait for saw the episods, and everything was perfect!!! and OMG I think this isn't the end!! this is not possible, Rory is pregnant, and Logan and her, they love each other, sure he wil get married with this french girl but it's a family plan not his plan ! thank you for everything and see ya next year ! ;-)
I agree that there NEEDS to be more episodes, but I feel like she'll end up with Jess. I love Logan, but he's Rory's Christopher, and Jess is her Luke.
Tale of Two Stories, I really don't think so. for a while I was in team Jess, because they were so much chemestry beteween them(probably because A&M were a couple in life) but in the show they were so young, Just teenager, this was intense but maybe too much! Logan, is inpredictable and she needs that, and he can be strong in front of her, she need somebody she can't do everything she wants with, because she is à princess, and her mum raised her like that, been allways the center of The world, she need somebody who need remind her, she is not !
IT'S GREAT I GREW UP LOVING GILMORE GIRLS SERIES :) I REALLY LOVE DRINKING MY COFFEE JUST LIKE RORY GILMORE ♥️♥️❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️ AKA ALEXIS BLEDEL ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ GOOD MORNING SA TANAN :) BUENAS DIAS NA TODO ♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️
Alguien que hable español? Xd termine tooda la serie ayer tipo 2 a.m y la verdad que no puedo superar que haya terminado de esa forma, fue muy mal, tenian tanto para haber puesto y termino asi
I feel as though Logan will be Rory's Christopher, who she will always feel comfortable going back to when the times get tough, and Jess will be her Luke, like the timings never right by they are right for each other.
that's what I read.
Mackenzie Holmes I though exactly the same. It comes to full circle...
I totally loved the Life and Death Brigade reunion. I was so freaking happy and then so freaking sad. That was one of the best scenes for me. So happy Finn was there
Roni here i loved that scene and I thought he would be asking her to be with him but he didn't :(
I agree with Ronnie
i HATE what the writers did to their relationship... ruined the revival for me. also hated that they wasted so much time on the musical...
Heidi Fang amen!
What would happen IF Logan ditches his fiancee and agrees to be there for their baby??why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that Logan will be Rory's Christopher??
Tomoko Me+ Why are you assuming that Logan is the father??? It could be her boyfriend's "what's his name" or for that matter, it could be the Wookie.
By this video its intensly clear that Logan is the father??The interviewer is asking Matt 'If Logan will Rory's christopher?" the clear meaning is "Is he gonna bail out on his baby like christopher did with Rory'.
it seems like both Matt and Alexis think that relationship in A Year in the Life was dumb and didn't make sense as well
I disagree
logan is not chris, he is so much better than that.
yikes izzy rich families, engaged, cheating, on again off again, his family hates the girl friend, ends up in the family business, has a baby unmarried, is the "fun/adventure/cash to burn" BF is the one she "wants to want"
Believe it or don't Chris / Logan is a parallel.
@@yikesizzy season 7 isn't canon so anything happening there should be taken in account
I like your take on the relationships!
Joyce B.
Need more episodes.
Need a different ending. One that doesn't include a side chick pregnancy.
it´s the wookies child!
I was not satisfied with the ending but it left me happy thinking we'll have more Gilmore Girls ahead ☺️
Ikr I still have hope for jess
Spring Giddinessify it could be the wookies child
Alien From This One Planet yup. i an 99% sure it is logans.
i hope it's a boy
Hopefully not..........
On the subject of Rory being a sidepiece....
Actor that plays Logan: the situation was mutual, she was totes cool with it.
Actress that plays Rory: she was emotionally dead inside, she was just putting on a brave face.
Lol This interview sums up the opposite sexes perfectly.
Rory x Logan fan forever
talkshh 🙌🏻Same
talkshh who even cares Rory isn't even a likeable character anymore
Russell Westbrook maybe you don't like her but i like her a lot
talkshh Same 😌
Rory is supposed to be flawed. She still has a lot of growing up to do. Much like how Lorelai still had a lot of growing to do in season 1.
Logan is Christopher. He's the absent father who's married to another woman. He'll pay for their child's education and pop in to be the fun dad. Nothing more.
#TEAMLOGAN
Hated the rivival. Fight me.
Anne Marie I absolutely agree - it just bought up more questions with no closure
Kailee ey. it's called year in the life because you know, in life you don't get a closure.
Nope, I did not like this storyline for any of them. Really, I though ASP could be more creative in giving Rory a different ending than her mothers...
Who else watched all in one day
Veronica Cajuste 🙋🏻
Veronica Cajuste Me!
who didn't?
Veronica Cajuste me!
Just see how that went in gossip girls it's a mess also a bit weirder ..
even christopher wanted to marry lorelai after she got pregnant in 16 whats ur point
its not out of character at all considering the fact that they have both done it before
Hated Rory's storyline.
YES! thank you! my thoughts exactly.
YES!!!
especially after losing her virginity with Dean who was married at the time you would think she wouldn't walk that line again. too bad all the character growth was down the drain just because they really wanted to ignore season 7.
Rory can't have Jess because her mom and Luke is married so that makes rory and jess cousins
Matt looks good and speaks well .
The ending was stupid they really have to redo it. That was a crappy way to show and conclude a character.
Except she was supposed to be saying them at 23 and not 32
Ikr
Miykala Horton exactly!! Thank you
I'm still not over the ending. So crazy!!!
Logan did not push Rory to be the best that she could be!!! Blah! #teamjess
Yes! Jess was always the one there for her. After all, he got her to go back to Yale when not even Lorelai could do that!!!
I strongly believe that Jess was the only boy who truly understood Rory and it was so evident that he could get her to do anything she wanted to because of the effect he had of her. I think Jess had been in love with Rory since he met her and has never stopped loving her.
AnnaClare Rich yeah, he is a looser still in love with a girl for 15 years while she don't cate about him anymore. Such an awful end for Jess.
Flavia Barcellos I still wish they had ended up together though
+Flavia Barcellos Rory and Jess, I mean
Jess is too good for Rory after all these years and life experience.
Honestly, that's very true. And I think that's what makes it even more sad because he still loves her.
the end of the show meant that on purpose and everyone KNOWS it! Logan is Christopher and Jess is Luke. that's the whole point
OMG! Please don't say that! I hate Jess
that'd be great
Analia Brenna no its not thats just watching the same show with lorelia in it again
that would make this so unrealistic as the one thing I liked about the characters or story was how unique and relatable they were.
Analia Brenna i am not against it, but i would've liked to see how it played out , and how they would be different
rory and logan deserve each other ugh
Ginea25 "by enabling her to leave yale" LMAO as always, team jess ignore Rory's agency.
Ginea25 Because obviously Jess HAS to be the one to tell Rory what to do with her life as well. Bc she can't make her own choices. /s
So many different approaches she could have chosen for Rory continuing her lazy relationship with Logan was not something I wanted to see. -_- I loved and hated the new episodes.
just gonna say thank god for emily
Forever a side chick.... sigh. We were rooting for you.
Iva
Iva
I agree with you 100%!
Ana Lívia Procópio yep I totally agree with you.
Their ruined these two and I’m devastated I’m so so upset
I HATED that Rory was was cheater!! Despite sleeping with Dean while he was married, she is not a cheater!
Well, we don't know who she ends up with. Could definitely be Jess, in my opinion!
But in the end, it's just selfish.
i think rory is chris and logan like lorelai some way
Kelly Baxter let's hope Jess is Rory's Luke :))
Li La at the end went jess look in i hope there are endgame
Kelly Baxter I know!!! that look means something I know that!
+Li La same I was screaming into my pillow like no I need them together and at the end I was hoping Jess would walk by
Olivia Abeziz I agree so much! when they were talking about that Rory's gonna find the right one, I did hope she would watch Jess entering Luke's or something...Idk but I was so disappointed :(
i was hoping that if rory ended with logan, then it would be on both of their terms and a happier one. now that the creators supposedly see logan as the christopher character, i hope rory would end up with jess.
though i'm a logan fan, i can see how their relationship can play out like lorelai and christopher. kind of disappointing that it is only 4 episodes. i wished it played out some more
Rory and Logan! ❤
i think logan is the father.
obviously. he was the only one she was sleeping with
maddie Blek no, you forgot the wookie!
I just don't get it. Rory was the perfect little girl, clever, attanded on Yale etc.... and she is now 32, "homless", no job, no partner and having a baby without a father. I. JUST. DON'T. GET. IT. How???
Life
KT R but that would mean that if you are working hard you get nowhere in life....
(well, that's kinda true)
She's human.
We deserve a happy ending , we want fairytale Logan and Rory have to end up together
ME: I am team Logan and Rory 😏
This is what I want to happen next
Logan abandons his father and business only telling his sister where he is
He goes to stars hollow where he plans on starting up his own business and proposes to Rory and she later reveals to him that she is pregnant with his baby
They end up buying a house in stars hollow together and Logan takes on the Gilmore last name and they start a family happily together
If it’s a girl it would be Lorelei Gilmore the fourth and a boy would be Richard Gilmore, in honor of Richard of course
Loved it! I need more!!! What's next??? I watched all 4 in one day.
Becky Cobb Hey! I'm going for 200 subscribers, please help! It would mean so much:) Thanks if you do!
I am still hoping for logan and rory to be married and live happily.. another gilmore girls please😭😭😭
what happens when Rory tells Logan she's pregnant
krystin jones I know! I love the cliffhanger because this can only mean we may get more episodes xD
true but i also read that they don't need to make anymore episodes because we know what happens. lieterally the same thing as with lorelai. quite said really. logan is christopher and jess is luke. they could've at least made the wookie guy the father lmao
Sausan Martinez I know right I got so excited when she said that she was pregnant. Can't wait for a new season.
november132 oohhh i know right but sad because im team logan😅
In my world she tells Logan, he breaks up with Odette and him and Rory lives happily ever after :)
Wish there could have been more life and death brigade in the original show
I loved any episode with it
i am 100% its logan.not happy this ending. hope to seen happy ending with rory and logan. i really like logans and dean. they both falling a deep love with rory. but rory missed them love. i need to see logans and rory success love, life and married. great serial. really love it.
What about Rory's one night stand. Who was the guy? Could he be the father? Can't Jess pretend to be! Love Jess, Logan is ok.
Jess never made Rory as happy as Logan did. Rory told that she loves Logan like a million times bruhhhh. Why yall shipping Jess anyways, Jess indeed caused Rory further trouble. Logan was the best for her, he always loved her and still does!
There needs to be a season 2 of a year in a life of Gilmore girls
In my opinion, Rory and Logan are not Lorelei and Christopher. Logan is not Luke or anyone else, he is Logan. Thur relationship was too serious for Luke and and too stable for Christopher. Although, they could be toxic I do freel that Logan was meant for her. If they weren’t, I do not think that after nine years, they would not still be hung up on each other. It saddens me how choppy they were in the revival and if they had just one more episode. It could have been hood
Alexis Bledel is sooo pretty!
stupid, disappointed, done.
So...the ending to Gilmore girls can't really be the end right?
I want logan to be rorys baby's father♥️
I don’t think there will ever be another reunion special. Alexis wasn’t happy with the way the portrayed Rory. You can tell she was disappointed. I don’t think she’s jumping at the idea of doing more.
I don't like Logan •_• !
What Matt said!!!Obvs! :* love them together
Never figured out what Rory saw in Logan.
I dont get how they copied a scene from Across the Universe, when they the guys and Rory were playing golf on top of the roof and played the same song from that movie.
It was meant to be a copy of the scene - the guys and Rory is trying to recreate the scene from that movie.
Rory termino siendo la amante de Logan por rechazar ser la esposa
BUT WE SONT KNOW FOR SURE IF ITS LOGANS BABY IT COULD BE HIS OR THE WOOKIES OR EVEN HER BOYFRIEND SHE FORGETS ABOUT WHO KNOWs?!!?
Kayla Christina I know, so many possibilities!
I personally hope it's Logan's baby 👶🏼
Kayla Christina I think the whole point was for us to believe that it's Logan's and not some random one night stand. As a comment above states, this was always going to be the final 4 words. The show was not supposed to end where it did. It would have ended at Rory being pregnant at 23 with his kid and not 32 like in the new episodes
Guys, let's be real. It's Finn's kid.
But if it did come full circle, then that would mean Rory would marry someone else :( because Lorelei married Luke not Christopher
