    It's awesome to see new film businesses popping up locally. This reminds me that I have a bunch of cinema film that was respooled sitting in the fridge that I need to try and shoot. Thanks for the video.

    Nice one, Hashem. Great to see all of the examples/comparisons and, it all flows well as a review video. Very easy and enjoyable to watch, love when videos like this have the sections listed in the timeline too. I thought all the various locations and times of shooting actually added to the video, removing any chance of that repetitive nature some same time/location videos can have. It was structured really well. Looking forward to the next one.

    All these results are beautiful! The color tones are amazing! Something like this can not be replicated with digital cameras! Just when I try my hand at shooting FujiFilm Pro 400H... They discontinue the film! Hahaha! • @TheBigNegative-PhotoChannel

    That's really awesome. Here in Germany, there is only cinestill in 120. Fortunately, I have nothing against the halations. 😀 Tell me, do they use the tungesten films on the day? In my last video I used 800T a day and really had to correct a lot in the post.

    • @pushingfilm
      @pushingfilm  3 года назад +1

      I think they are in high demand which is great, meaning they'll hopefully keep making stuff for a while to come. I have shot tunsgten rolls in the day, especially 35mm. The results were actually pretty nice. If you colour correct them during scanning, there is not much need to use a filter either.

    I hear some people said that little hole tends to let the chemicals on film gone faster, due to flow velocity. Don't know the actual science, but just share a opinion.

  • @Garubolas
    @Garubolas 3 года назад +1

    i find that shooting cinema film in 120 format is better only in 6x6 where the sprocket doesnt protude much into the space. With 645 it eats much into the frame and also the sprocket stains can be annoying. You also have to load and shoot it ASAP cos ive experience 65mm rerolled film to have diferent reactions to diffierent backing papers over time. Some even have the paper info imprinted on the emulsion

    • @pushingfilm
      @pushingfilm  3 года назад

      Some good points, I guess there are a few extra variables to consider with something like this. Have you tried rolling it yourself, or know of other sources that sell it?

    • @Garubolas
      @Garubolas 3 года назад +1

      @@pushingfilm Yes ive rolled myself from 65mm film but only as and when needed. i do it like 5-10 rollsat a time then iuse it within a month or two. Where i live it's very humid so i dont keep the film rolled up in backing paper for long knowing the issues with the emulsion and various backing paper types, as well as fungus. The hardest part of doing it is getting the 65mm film stock and cutting it. The rest is just easy.I seen people sell them on ebay and taobao platforms but i dont buy from there cos i dont know how long theyrve been rolled up and if theyre fresh ( important if you shoot 500t and plan to push it)
