I like Garuda.. then CachyOS.. then Endeavour.. if you're going to go Arch based. Lubuntu, Mint, MX .. if you're going debian based (maybe deepin and Ubuntu also) Nobara, Bazzite, Fedora KDE.. if you're going fedora based.
I really want to daily drive arch, i tried doing so on an old broken laptop but i could not connect to internet (the ping didnt happen) EndeavourOS is really good and one of the best distros ive done so far
EOS is awesome, I got it installed on a 2017 macbook air and it works faster than MacOS. Plus, for being rolling release, no issue no far. Though I have to say that for users coming from other OS that just want to use a computer to get their own stuff done, maybe Fedora or Ubuntu would be better.
I agree. I think it is a good distro. I am going to put together a tier system showing which distros I think belong in which category in IE very easy, easy, medium difficulty, challenging and expert
I tried Endeavour and Cachy back to back and cachy has better driver support for my jasper lake cpu. The audio is not perfect in cachy but in Endeavour it gives me serious problems. also cachy allows me to use gnome which I prefer over KDE.
Yeh people should actually learn how to read the man pages. They are literally put there for you to use, they are the best source of documentation. While the reply you were reading was kinda brash about this, they were 100% correct. Ironically you can learn how to use the man pages from doing "man man".
Happy New Year Mate, Brilliant Video and Spot On, Greetings from Cape Town
Happy new year to you. Thank you
