    Back in the day when premium was 8 million silver a Russian player farmed stalker corrupted dungeons for 3 days of play time and had enough silver to pay for 12 months of premium using a claymore build. I've never seen anyone manually farm silver faster than him that didn't involve flipping and api applications involving the black market. My favorite newbie method for silver is gather only T2 in a high yield blue zone (Not available yet on East) then transport to Caerleon during bandit event and sell them there.

    So I recently started a new account for kicks. My experience was as follows:
    - Started by doing the tutorial, bought a few mules for a head start in the tutorial but otherwise no outside resources from a guild/main account. Farmed everything to T3 while doing tutorials and then unlocked all T4 weapons by farming solo dungeons.
    - Once I finished, I moved to the city and bought full T4.1-T4.2 with my weapon of choice (I was using Arcane staff, so my clearing speed was pretty average) and farmed my preferred gathering skill (skinning) to T5 while doing dailies and enchanted solo dungeons. Dailies (Arena, Faction, Expedition, etc.) aren't huge cash in themselves, but a nice fame injection with a decent amount of money for a new player.
    - Once I made enough money to afford ~10 4.1 sets, I began farming open world mobs and the mists and banked my loot every ~250k or so. Sought out friendly in mists and played ballsy as fuck in the mists to scare scrubs off chests and wisps in the mists. The might points I got from this were a huge injection of fame and silver. At this point as well, I started participating in Bandits with a low-risk build that can contribute a bit. Nature is probably optimal for this, but I use witchwork. I was making ~1m per bandit between looting and faction points when I didn't die. ~400k when I did. Also did some corrupted dungeons here.
    - At this point, over a couple weeks of fairly casual play, my account net worth is about 10 mill with a passable amount of pvp fame, and nearly maxed spec in my set of choice. That's enough that you can afford a nice set for any safe activities you do, and enough that running out to the BZ with 4.1-6.1 sets isnt crippling, so you can start playing the game.

      I like this approach. So you basically secure yourself a decent amount of sets that allows you to die, and then go farming open world mobs and mists + bandit.
      I have small amount of silver but can definitely afford +10 4.1 sets, so im gonna make a new char and try this out. Never been too deep on the bz so this may be useful to learn

    I'm new, and I have a few questions about the game;
    1. How often does the game update?
    2. How good are albion updates? Do devs listen to community feedback?
    3. When can we expect the update talked about in the video by Albion titled, "2023 Development Update"
    4. Can you really play Albion however you like, as they advertise it? Because it seems like if you're just a casual player, and do not follow meta builds, do not do the most efficient way of doing things (even sometimes using external programs or spreadsheets), then not only you would not profit, but lose money as well...

    • @jonathanbaker4361
      @jonathanbaker4361 Год назад

      I'm new, and not a superstar. If you know your limitations, you can always make money. The only thing that looses money, is dying or getting KOed. So if you aren't in a hurry, and "your way of playing," doesn't involve roving the black zones in fishing gear looking to chop wood, you'll make money.
      How much money is the gamble. You bet big to win big.
      But you can absolutely play it safe.
      Blue and yellow zones won't cost you gear, just a repair bill.
      I personally don't go into red and black zones. Both times I tried, I lost my shirt, and everything else I was carrying.
      I would recommend coughing up the $5 for 7 days premium and buy your private island. It gave me something to build towards and you keep it after the 7 days, so I think it's more worth it than any cosmetic crap people spend on because it adds value in game.

    • @smtheria7696

      The game updates are actually quite good, so all weapons types and armors have their own niche somewhere in the game. You can also do pretty much whatever activities you want, it’s just much slower than going into the black zone with a better weapon/build to do riskier content

    Cool video with realistic numbers. RUclips is so full with video's that claim strats that say : "Do this and you'll make 1.2 million an hour!" In an ideal world. Lets say an empty test server with like enchanted tier 8 gear they might get that if they really go all out, but that is just completely unrealistic for new players.

      Actually
      Biglips missed 1 thing
      Solo static dungeon boss
      It's pretty much doable for new players and doesn't require something special
      But the problem here is that this activity earning depends too much on luck and i think that's why Biglips didn't put it in the video
      At the end, the 1.2m per hour is a real number and you can literally try it

    • @ageoflove1980
      @ageoflove1980 Год назад

      @mohammadjafari3873 I'm sure it's real, but it requires ideal circumstances, which a new player won't have. And even veterans will struggle because the game is super populated right now. At peak hours everything is contested and you'll only get 1/3 and 2/6 nodes unless you'll farm at sub-optimal spots. But at those spots you can't faction flag for example etc etc. So I'm sure the number is real, just that the circumstances you cab get this number are rare. You really need the quietest time of the day, and even then some luck.

    • @thePyiott
      @thePyiott Год назад +1

      @@tiago.suares How many points you get in bandit depends on a lot of factors, how many zones you cap, how many stars each zone has and how many players you split the faction point pool with is the most important. If your faction have two capping zergs. Try going with the smaller one as that's likely the more experienced one and you'll split the points with fewer players. Regardless, bandit is not the best way to earn points in faction war, red zone fast capping is. However you'll need a dedicated group of at least 7 people and proper builds for that. Usually something like 1 incubus, 1 healer and 5 bolcasters.

    Mists yellow zone fishing (if done fully optimally + premium) youre looking at about 400k-1 mil hour based on spec and efficiency. Red zone fishing in tier 7 zone can easily crack 1 mil and actually has very high potential based on eel rng. Could even go over 2 mil. Ava roads tier 7-8 zone fishing depends on how fast you can find a good zone but fairly consistantly can push 1.5 mil at the higher end. Leveling fishing doesn't take as long as you think if you commit all LP to it. I recommend new players buy 5 dollar starter pack and easily blast it in a week. Don't do fishing laborers tho, they are a scam.

    if you use higher tier Gathering gear and tools you'll make more per hour for practically no risk I make a million an hour off of tier 4 materials when I want to do something safe using tier 8 Gathering gear it's not as expensive as people think it is I can pay it off within 3 hours and all you need to get started with is the Gathering tool which is like 100k to 200k and that makes the biggest difference recommend a wild boar or an elite wild boar it's a good balance between carrying capacity and speed and you don't always have to be mounted like an ox or a bear Pork Pies help out too when you get your tier 4 Gathering to 40 with tier 8 Gathering gear and a pork pie you have 100% bonus rate so you'll get twice as much resources for Harvest and as your skill gets higher you can have the bonus proc again so you can get three times as much resources with an excellent quality Elite wild boar with a pork pie I have almost 4,000 carry capacity with a tier 8 bag
    also I faction flag when I do it too so I get faction points for Gathering I'm not counting the faction points in my total but that's about an extra 200k sometimes

      So from my perspective, there is no incentive for a new player to do gathering UNLESS you are at work or something and need a low attention activity that enables you to do something else besides it. I've listened to podcast and even lessons while gathering, i supose you could also watch something too. That is the only desirable thing in gathering, to make silver while doing something else.

    the best way to get premium is to get a job and you can get premium in just 2 hours of working irl and if youre on the lowest of lows, you can get premium in just 2 days with your irl work. Its still much better than wasting hundred of hours just to make the premium and to grind again to make your money back. youll be a grind slave if that happens, youll about to burn 100+ hours meanwhile you can just get it in less than 2 hours with irl job. IMO getting a job irl is much easier than having no premium and get the premium with just grind.

      Not everywhere can do this though. I recently moved, but the place I lived at it'd take a month working at McDonalds full time to pay for premium. More so a problem with the currency of certain countries but for a lot of us it's more viable to play the game than work an IRL job.

    • @yoink9148
      @yoink9148 Год назад

      @@SwoleBenji This is not a problem in most country. The problem is people likes to sit around and do nothing. when I was at school i had a side hassle that pays around half of the albion premium price a day and all you have to do is sit on a computer and press send, and to note this is from a low income country that is known to have less jobs, so by basically almost doing nothing I gained premium for a day or two. But people wouldnt know that kind of job because people doesnt have enough experience in real life to find better ways because they like to sit around doing nothing. this is just my tips, you do you. To note everyone can do this just try to move around pretty sure most people have more play time in games than roaming around irl.

      the best are heart transport from lymnhurst to caerleon, since its the shortest and still good heart price, you can do 4-5 transport/hours netting 1 to 1.2 mill/hours in the form of silver, but its only viable in off hours, you will be ganked alot if at peak hours

    i doubt you could make 300k hunter corrupted. For new player it will take at least 10 minutes per dungeon, so it is 200k per hour on average. If you is a new player then subtract 30%-50% from all the profits in video. The best way for a new player i guess is open world in BZ with 4.1 cheap build. You will get money AND lots fame. Fame is much more important and you can not lose it if you die.

    Imma spill some bonkers way to make money with literal 0 risks and noob friendly. Yz faction warfare. Just pick up any good aoe or tagging skills you like with the lowest item values so your repair bill is dirt cheap. Just remember to pass 700ip min. The key is the less of your faction players participate the more points you generates. And you could gather uncommon stuff you find along the way for extra money. The east is perfect for this because no 8.4 bois running around soloing stuff yet.

    Gathering as a beginner being 100k/hour is about right. It highly depends on where you choose to stay, what resource you gather, if you bought an initial premium with irl money because prem is basically required for gathering, what tier you're at, which area you're gathering in, what time it was when you were gathering (competition), and if you decide to refine it. Gathering resources 1 tier higher than your current is usually counter intuitive because it takes more time so you're actually making less money.
    Since the marketplace is tied to the city and not the world, where you sell it also plays a factor. Some cities pay more for a resource than another. Then there's another step which is transporting the raw materials to a city with the refining bonus and refining it there. And yet another step because transporting the refined goods out of that city can also increase profit.
    In the east I hard grinded t4 to t5 quarrying in one sitting in 2 hours in mardale (red zone with abundant resource and high rarity distribution), 4 pork pies, premium, and t4 gathering gear (4 pork pies is about 35k silver, and the gathering gear all in all was about 8k). I grinded t4 stone exclusively and ended up with 2685 normals, 314 greens, and 41 blues which in my inventory estimate was only 100k. It took about ~8 mins to get it to bridgewatch (city bonus for stone) though I haven't refined it yet since my t3 blocks were sitting in another city but it would be around ~280k if I sold it in bridgewatch including the silver costs but if I were to transport it to the neighboring cities it would be around 340k. Now I also grinded wood but the thing is at this time wood is 50% more valuable than rock so doing the same thing with t4 wood I would get ~440k in 2 hours (generous estimate).
    That is to say thats for t4, higher spec and higher tiers as well as better knowledge of the market exponentially increases profit so imo gathering is only viable if you can pay for premium with irl money initially so you can grind out levels because honestly speaking I wouldn't touch gathering without premium on because the grind would be too much of a slog.

    Their greed of gold sale and nerfing everything around, holding hands on high gold price, increasing premium cost, make pve so easy by elite mobs and mini boses just to trick people with easy access to 100 specs for maybe some of them gold buy if they want grind for 120, nerfing crafting several times to make prices in market like +200% and still not earning anything because of taxes increase. Albion online was perfect example of how from good game make a shit game by broken updates and changes and all this in the name of greed

    EAST SERVER ESTIMATES
    Hey im a new gatherer player and just to say you make either 150k per hour (when on t4 which you will be for quite a while) but this doesn't include the money you can be making from selling items you sell at the normal market or at the black market so its around 200k~250k for an hour of gathering (don't gather t5 stuff with t4) and around a million if you fill out your t4 ox and then you will get a bit less of a profit becouse crafting is crafting but not too much of a loss its around 200k if you have a million so it eats around 20% of the profit(if in a guild that doesn't tax the crafting places and puts in food regularly this is negated),i think a good average to put is around 250k if you sell to carleon everything you have made but also keep in mind you can have 500k at one point and then 5 the next

    I just started playing, like a week ago, I come from a WOW background, so this game has some issues for me, 1st is the look down view, I’m trying to get use to it but I find it harder on the eyes, 2nd is the economy/market, it takes currently 7200
    silver for 1 gold, that is outrageous, considering that new players will take forever to get 7200 silver, to start with, the market prices are an absolute joke, prices are so outrageous for some items that basic players will NEVER be able to purchase these items, 4th, this is a non level based game, so you put points in gear, the skill tree is an absolute joke, who cares about how many point you have in your shoes?
