Teleport is so broken! I tought Blizzard would be a choice for lvl 4 almost but you just focus in aura and elemental. It's ok, but you can run more priest with inner fire to exploit the aura I guess. Anyway well played! Play that map with custom race of Hiveworkshop (guilenas) should be awesome!
UPkeep and its good practice in FFA to leave your main base as un-mined as possible because it will be like a "piggy bank" where he can cash it out when the other gold mines run out.
You should have bought a zep and dropped it into the back of his base with a tank and AM mtp... wards can't be placed on water so he would only have a few seconds reaction time, and 8 tanks can take down a base in no time...
I don't like the '7 player' aspect of the map. It makes it asymmetric and thus some spawn positions are more advantageous than others which is unfair. Another flaw is the free unguarded Fountain of Health in my opinion. I would have loved to see some powerful creeps guarding that to be honest. Fun game, you played almost perfectly Wtii, and I agree with you, FFAs *are boring* if you play them like they should be played. Hoard gold at 50 and avoid any conflict for as long as possible while upgrading and getting the buildings for everything.
Magic sentry does not reveal the map it only allows towers to be able to see invisible units, mortar teams are the ones who can reveal the map with flare
I've revisited this game from time to time, the only reasons I stopped playing are and ain't coming back...) Battlenet delay. Wtf? It wasn't like that when I played back in 2010, they nerfed the servers because people stopped playing? People stopped playing because blizzard stopped caring about this game, what do I mean by that? But my main reason I think... -HACKERS. Like what the fuck? I didn't mind the occassional maphacker you met from time to time, if I was a better player I'd beat him anyway, but the last fucking drop was when I started coming up against players with RESOURCE HACKS. I'd never seen anything like it. I was playing 1v1, and I decided to rush this undead with my blademaster, as soon as I got him, really early-style, nothing special. I find the guy attacking his main (I learned that this was how you activated the hack I think...), and I'm like uh dummy? Want autolose? Then started repairing it again. Stupid? Started killing off his acolytes, then all of a sudden one of them went and started building like 10-15 buildings, all at once. It was way too early for anyone to have that kind of economy. Fucker barely had to keep mining, just went like 3 crypts and started massing fiends, like within the first few minutes.. I encountered this one more time after which I straight up fucking quit the game, the love of my life-game. Was playing 2v2, AT. Up against the usual NE/UD, ne feeding UD to mass fiends and tech. I'm a veteran player I know what kind of economy a player is able to have throughout the game with and without x number of expansions. All of a sudden NE chimaeras start showing up and I recognize the same bullshittery. The rest of us were in t2 midgame, I was orc or something. And this NE was even feeding the UD, no way to be able to have cash like that... I guess these reasons can all be packed into the 2nd one, blizzard just stopped caring about wc3 in favor of World of Warcraft, the bane. Personal eternal despies for that game hence lol. At this point I was already starting to get pissed that blizzard didn't seem to care about preventing maphackers, just a little grumpy you know kinda, but this bullshit was it for me. I'm not claiming that I was a one of a kind best player or anything but a bit above average mind? wc3 vids always set my mood to rant-like-hell. lol. Glad to see someone playing, the barely-nonexistent delay that is in this video is how I remember that the battle.net servers were like back then...

SalvLav personal experiance over the past 7ish years playing the us or EU yourself ? and yes obviously one have to adjust the ratio for the realms there were a smaller number of rp vs pve etc but you cant hide that you generly have hade the event that a handfull of realms that lost enguh people to so to speak go bellow a 'crittical mass' aka often the point were the town goess from feeling packed to feeling like a handfull of people skulking in the corners. and the remaining 'population' that needed a living town so to speak to enjoy the game condensed to a single realm a good example would be the top popualted pvp or rp servers wich is more deependant on a healthy population then the pve is. take the rp realms as example go back a to say wotlock and you hade several healthy ones now i dont even know if there is anyone asside the infamus/famused argent dawn one with a constant 'high' population.
Blizzard had the best strategic game in his hand... then WoW appeared and fucked up all. Warcraft III will always be better than WoW, they just needed remaster it with the actually WoW models
