I really love how they do subtitles in this series, making it a guess for what the characters are going to say next for English speakers, wish more series did that tbh

And met up with him later on, but it seems as if she goes through the 200 kills floor to progress to the doors floor, which she could've gone through pretty quick, and then the throne challenge but... is that entirely correct?
As someone who's read the webtoon, let me explain *SPOILERS* Okay, firstly, what people need to understand is that the anime, just like any other adaptation, too creative liberty and changed things up. That scene with Black March speaking to Baam about time passing for Rachel was only in the anime. That was not a part of the webtoon. So yes, Baam really was just behind Rachel in terms of time, hence why they ran into each other on the 2nd Floor. Now the anime does not explain this sadly, but even though time flows normally in the Tower, characters' PERCEPTION of time is what is different. People in the Tower live for centuries and thousands of years because of Shinsu around them. In fact, your mastery over Shinsu can allow you to speed up or slow down your aging. Most of the characters you see in the anime are already over 100 years old. For example, Princess Yuri is over 500 years old yet looks early 20s. Rankers, in addition to Shinsu slowing their aging, get a special contract when they finish their climb, which stops their body from ever aging again. So because Tower of God characters live for so long, 10 years to us is like 1 month for them. The entirety of Tower of God S1 takes place on the 2nd Floor. The 2nd Floor just has multiple tests.
