I'm doing NaNoWriMo like every year. The organisation maybe did some mistakes, but I won't let that ruin that challenge for me. It was nice that everyone called it NaNoWriMo before - now there are millions of new challenges, only a few people in each. It's a pitty. But at least we are still writing 😊 Thank you for this video, I liked it very much.
@@ivad.1341 Thanks Iva. The basics remain the same, that we give ourselves time this month to be ready and better prepared for November. Like you I am keen to make the best of November.
@@emacarvalho7889 Good morning Ema. Glad you are diving back into Nano again this year. As a challenge it is still a great process for you to create that rough first draft. Best of luck with your intentions for a good October of prep and then on with the words in November. Nick
@@anitagwinn9501 Evening Anita. That's the right approach. Nano has proven itself as a conceptual space in which to write year after year. It really IS a strong feature of our writing calendar. Let's all have a good preparation month! Nick
@@EmmaBennetAuthor I must get myself a copy. The organisation may have made a bunch of ill advised comments, but the principle of being able to spend a whole month with the focus on a single project, this is still a great goal to aim for. Nick

Likewise. I am hanging tough with NaNoWriMo. I cannot believe how these folks are jumping ship. Are they not attempting to rectify the matter?

I don't know what to do about nano this year, especially as I wrote a book on it 🤦♀️
