Awesome video! It’s cool to see another amazing brewer in Florida!

I like that idea of reiterated mash. I have done partigyle and always looking for innovative ways to brew.

Excellent video as always, Matt. I moved over to the foundry during lock-down, and am only 4 batches in on it, but have not had the diminishing efficiency returns on increasing grain bill that you mentioned. Although I've only gone to 1.060 on 3.25 gallon batches, so perhaps that's why. In any case, again, great vid and cheers!

I liked your video on reinteration.on the Foundry 6.5. I recently did a reinteration on a Samichlaus clone, and watched your video to see your method.
    Two questions:
1- Where did you purchase your black treacle? I have been looking for Lyle's Black Treacle for years.
2- Why did you choose to do the boil with your propane kettle?
    Thanks.

I got the black treacle from Amazon. I boiled this one in propane to duplicate the rigorous boil and boil off rate from past batches I’ve done without the foundry.

Always editing video right after taste... keep the lip smacking moments in there ( will help it appear genuine ). Are you considering going to the Anvil 10.5? I just upgraded and am happy with the larger output but definitely need to switch to 240v - this reiterated mash looks very interesting... look forward to your tasting in 2022.

In happy with the 6.5, no plans to change anytime soon for me.
