I gotta admit --- each of these themes had distinct personality. This one is the most ambitious to me. If I was really set on breaking a record, I'd choose this one - MUSIC B. If I needed to unwind and unload a clouded mind, definately MUSIC C. When I'm feeling really nostalgic, then MUSIC A is it.
Red5433 I think it's the only one that's an original composition by Nintendo for the game(s), that might have something to do with it? idk, good question.
Is it only me or do you guys/girls think the old game consoles and games were more entertaining for some reason? Even Windows! They put easter eggs, fun and so much fun and serious effort into games and OS. Thanks for sharing this music!
This post got me curious so I looked it up. Twist ending: its real name really is "Music B". It also appears in the Game Boy version, and is an original song made specifically for Tetris.
@@AlexanderHarris That fact blew my mind when I first learned it. I always assumed it was another Russian classical piece, not something Hirokazu Tanaka composed for this game.
Tetris was first made in 1984 by man named Alexei for the elektronika 60, a Soviet clone of an old dec microcomputer, it had no complex graphics, only alpha numberic characters, and only a simple sound chip. And it was later ported to other computer models in the 1980s
I always picked this one. It feels so much more intense, especially when you have the pieces stacked high and it speeds up.
Everybody always thinks of Music A when they think of Tetris music, but I personally like Music B the best.
I like B the best too.
B was the only one of the three I couldn't really play the game to. To much focus on the music, not enough on the puzzle.

Ya music B is the only way to go
same
That’s probably because they thinking of the gameboy

Preach on, brotha’!
Always wondered why this is the only consistent song between both the NES and Game Boy versions of the game.

This was always my favorite. Thanks for the upload!

Music 3 is original as well.
This is the better one. The B
"From Russia With Fun!"
Uhm, according to the backstory, there was LITTLE fun with it's original development.
Anyone knows the original name of this song?
I'd really like to hear it played on a piano or harpischord
Bump!

Look hard enough, and you’ll find something...

@@titusmccarthy not what i meant
Ehhh... They tried to make it sound Russian... But why not just make a remix of a Russian song instead?
The Gameboy version sounds better
