I believe Karen is innocent and SHE IS innocent until proven guilty and the family’s reactions should’nt be in the line of sight of the jury.

My heart goes out to the O’Keefe and Read families. I’ve been watching every day of this trial and there are a lot of victims in this case and they are NOT the Albert’s and the McCabe’s as the prosecution would have you believe. I’m so glad I don’t live near Canton… I’d feel so uncomfortable living in an area where this type of ‘brotherhood’ exists. The O’Keefe family deserves justice for John and I can’t imagine how difficult this has been for them. It’d be completely understandable for them to believe John’s “brothers in blue”, so to see all the evidence and behavior explained away by “butt dials”, which makes NO sense in context, must be devastating. The prosecution doesn’t even seem to care about the awful precedent they are stating by questioning the validity of the cell phone data that they routinely rely on to secure convictions. They are opening Pandora’s box by pursuing this case, with so many inconsistencies and evolving statements, and the defense hasn’t even presented their case yet! These are the prosecution’s witnesses that are making the whole town look corrupt. The judge’s style of dealing with objections is weird too. Never seen that before and I’ve followed every preceding of dozen’s of trials. You’d think in such a high profile case you’d want to avoid the appearance of being complicit by sustaining objections that don’t seem to have a legal basis. Most judges are very careful to avoid the opportunity for appeal but that seems to welcome it. I’ve followed A LOT of trials. I’ve been following the ID v. Horribly, a snow-plow had gone by, hitting John and causing additional injury. When Karen finds John - she is clearly heard saying by multiple people ("I HIT HIM - I HIT HIM - I HIT HIM.") Karen is now claiming that John went into the house -- where he was attacked by his friends (cops and firemen) and dumped outside his friend's home to die. And for some bizarre reason they are framing - conspiring (about 10 - 20 people) - against Karen blaming her for John O'Keefe's death. Karen has built a smoke screen of deception to hide the simple but horrific truth - She was drunk and angry.Video at the bar shows her having 9 drinks as verified on the stand by a state trooper. One of the big questions is: Did Karen know she hit him? She either hit him intentionally, or it was an accident, and perhaps, although she was aware she had hit him, she was just drunk and pissed enough to say - tough - I am going home. She has also been seen on video backing into and hitting John's vehicle that same day. It appears she is not very good at driving that big, honking suburban in reverse. Pieces of her broken taillight were only found at the scene of the hit and run murder. Karen told police the day after the murder, in her first interview, that she didn't know how her taillight was broken, telling them it had happened sometime the previous day (of hit run). Then Karen tells police, in a subsequent interview, that two of the men at the party had fought with John, breaking the taillight and they had "pulverized" John's face - but hey it was a joke kind of a thing...?? She is torturing John O’Keefe’s family - very sad. Very sad. Karen was offered a plea and turned it down. It appears she doesn't want to admit she might have been drunk (9 Drinks) when she hit John, she does remember hitting him. Perhaps Karen likes to have one too many - too often. DON’T DRIVE DRUNK

It's ludicrous conjecture to think she would hit him with her car and leave him dead in the yard with a house full of people and some of them were cops. She didn't know if they had cameras on their house. She couldn't tell if someone was looking and could have seen her.
Such is why it was clearly an accident. It's ludicrous conjecture to think she would hit him with her car and leave him dead in the yard with a house full of people and some of them were cops. She didn't know if they had cameras on their house. She couldn't tell if someone was looking and could have seen her.
Such is why it was clearly an accident. She drove away unaware that she hit him, as indicated by her own surprised reactions " could I have hit him", "did I kill him", etc. She was esimated to have a BAC over .20, so of course she was too drunk to realize it. She blew a .08 at 9am! Then along came the conspiracy theorists providing a way for her to get off scot free, rather than just pleading guilty to an accidental death, so of course her defense team is gonna run with that
