Ok! I love this game and have spent hours trying to master the finer points of battleship gunnery. While I continue in my attempts at proficiency, apparently you seem to have gained a thorough understanding by demonstrating some amazing accuracies with the British 1st and 2nd salvo hits! For example, 2nd round salvo by King George V showed estimated elev. 15.0, yet the adjusted salvo was taken at 17.3 and resulted in 5 hits! In the following rounds, the Brits continued landing spectacular hits(Bismark was nailed) made by way of some astute elev adjustment which in many cases went against the recommended (computer estimated. elev) elev. What is the secret?
I just press the compass looking thingy on the map to see where the first salvo marked if the shells fly overhead or it landed closely, so that's why I keep adjusting the elevation so I can score a lot of hits at the enemy fleet.
Been a while since I play this game,it is fun.Requires a lot of thinking and planning
