Shooting with VariCam LT by Joe Gabriel | Panasonic

Moving between the worlds of documentary and narrative, Cinematographer Joe Gabriel recently finished shooting science series 'Brainchild', which he shot on a VariCam LT. Shooting a scripted show on a non-scripted budget, Gabriel was dealing with a limited amount of resources and time, which required a lot of versatility and flexibility in terms of camera equipment.

Only problem is 4:2:2 recording, color reproduction is not good enough compare to VariCam 35. Have the option to shoot at 4444 HQ 12bit or higher externally, it will sell like hot cakes.
